Does anyone think changing your nickname will eventually cost credits? I kind of hope so because I only have two name changes left - soon to be one name change left.

Yeah, that's right. I had German language first. There were displayed the kw. After I changed to English (UK) i had bhp.

kw*1,36=PS
kw*1,34=bhp
Ok. But i Want in details ps. Sorry for Wrong Writing before. Example polo gti. Details says 140 kw. But i want instead 190 ps to Show up. But i guess its Not possible?

Is there a way to fully disable countersteer assist and the stiff triggers for controller users?
You can adjust the trigger effects in your PS5 Settings. Go Settings>Accessories>Controllers>Trigger Effect Intensity.

I think I’ve grown new muscles in my hands from playing Spider-Man: Miles Morales from the trigger effects.

Be careful what you wish for. There’s not counter steer on wheels and it’s a nightmare.
I don't want auto counter steer. It's awful and is counterintuitive to everything I've done in 25 years of playing racing video games. If it's your first racing game that's one thing with it catching a slide but if you've been playing any others for any sort of time you instinctively apply a bit of your own when the rear end starts to come out to catch it. So when the rear starts to come out and you go to catch it like you normally would, the car already has some countersteer being applied so your small adjustment just throws the car the opposite way.

Man, almost every Amazon store for different countries has Gran Turismo 7 in top of the charts for PS5 and PS4!

snc

Yeah that one won't work. You have to adjust it once you go to the race menu to see noticeable changes.

Played for four hours last night, Golded B-License with some taking a few tries but one I got on first try and I've done the first 10 menu books.

Really enjoyed it and no issues on my pre-owned PS4, runs nicely and looks glorious.

@Nielsen It is a nice touch that they have added some of the academy competitors in but it is also a bit awkward and cheesy, There was one who was talking about French Baguettes in the race menu, what the hell?!

Really pretty awesome how much they have integrated a ton of different Gran Turismo drivers into the menu system. A real tribute to the fans and players.
It's just to stop you ramming into them. I know I couldn't punt @TRL LIGHTNING off the track, because he's just so damn nice!

Although I have been repeatedly clattered by one World Tour driver-named AI in different races. I'll leave it up to the imagination which one it is, but I did vocalise the concept that it was to be expected.

I find it awkward as hell.
For the most part, it's a little cringe, but it's a nice enough touch. There is one which plunges into incredi-cringe and... yeah.

It's a WT meme. Baptiste "Baguette" Beauvois.

Yes, that one was so bizarre. I wonder who scripted that parade of baguette-obsession?

Anyone found any traces of a rain license?
Nope, and nobody seems to have got the trophy for it. I assume it's either coming in a future update or whatever triggers the trophy isn't working.

They sprinkled some GT lore from the world events. 😂
They are absolutely cheesy but it fits with GT and the japanese quirkyness,it's like playing a Japanese visual novel

What? You didn't think it was realistic that Stella saw your parked econobox outside the café and just HAD to say hello? 😂

So I tried the Gr3 race at Lago Maggiore, the one with two chili peppers.

I just cannot cut into first and second’s leads. But it feels like they aren’t rubber banding?

Drove the Ford GT LMGTE, which is a rather quick car stock. The exhaust note however doesn’t sound accurate to the real thing.

As somebody who's beaten Mission 34 on GT4...
As somebody who's golded all the licenses and 100%'d GT3 with a perfect win/loss ratio...
As somebody who managed two silvers and one gold on GT5's Vettel challenges...
S-10 CAN BURN IN THE PITS OF THE UNDERWORLD. 🤬
Kaz seeing all the comments that GTSport licenses were easy while designing S-10:

I though I was the only one thinking licenses are now much harder than in GTS, I have hard time getting Gold, even the first one. I guess S-10 will be impossible for me :D
So you don't need to use the likes of Nordschleife, Monaco, or Sarthe to create a difficult test. Rather actually using a track that isn't on high level compared to those in Spa. But still, the players should be careful of what they wish for.... wishing License to be harder....

Driving on wet important though.
Sorry if that's already been covered, but is there an "arcade" mode where time trials and such are available from the start with a few cars?
I just received the game and want to know if I can have my friend over for some laps or if I need to play some career first to unlock anything at all?

There is not.
You´ll have to play some GT Café and get some level up before you can arcade race.
Also 2-player split-screen aint unlocked at the beginning.

Fun fact,Gta 5 also had this when you turn off the car.
GT7 is a bit too loud tho and sounds like someone is hitting a stick inside a metal cup 😂
I dunno. My own commuter car makes some pretty loud ones after a trip to the grocery store and back.

Had the same experience with the Castrol Supra. DR A and I can’t win. You can’t even put Softs on because of the PP limit.

Two minor annoyances for me that aren't physics related.

Most of the add-on lips and skirts for more uncommon cars only being available in bare carbon which cant be painted or have decals placed on them kinda stinks.

The inability to do any sort of transmission tuning to CVT equipped as factory cars. Was hoping they would have had the fully customizable transmission as an option to give it a six speed sequential. I want a Toyota Aqua touring car!

The tech powering their weather system is mind boggling. A literal game changer not just for racing games but gaming in general.
How is it a game changer for gaming in general? It's possible the best looking weather system to date, but dynamic weather systems as a general concept have been around for a long time now.

The problem is that the rear end doesn’t start to come out. It just goes and you’re dead. There is nothing to catch. Zero indication it’s going to go. It’s just trial and error trying to remember when it binned you last attempt.

I don't own the game yet, my friend let me drive at Tsukuba and the Nurb. It's not your typical dynamic weather that you commonly see in most games. It's truly real time weather, there are so many nuance going on. Some parts of the track will have rain and some parts are dry, puddles form and dry realistically, the cloud formation is also extremely impressive, I don't think I've seen something like that before. People here who are more knowledgeable about this could probably explain it better than me. The weather radar for me is cheating, but I understand why they added it.
