This has been my invitation…

View attachment 1120669

That’s one way to completely use up that 1.6 mill credits from the Deluxe preorder…. and then some. Still a pit half a million to go but I think that won’t be too hard. I barely bought any cars so far and have been saving up for things like this.

Now, I would be really annoyed if this car can end up at the roulette tickets as well. I assume that every Legend Car and invitational car won’t ever show up on the roulette wheels?
Yea like I kinda like this concept… give me something to look forward to in the next two weeks… I mean I could get 1 million prob in a hour right now but I will take my time in the next two weeks saving up for the LaFerrari.

Yeah same here, I like it as well tbh.

I guess PD got their inspiration IRL with Ferrari inviting their best customers to buy their most exclusive cars. 😆

it just reeks of PD poorly thinking out its gameplay balance.
So they didn't test it? It's taken people here what, four days to finish all the cafe books and from what they've reported of the payouts, it's clear to anyone that they're not going to be enough to buy so many cars and upgrade parts. Sorry, I don't buy that.

No, combined with the lack of being able to sell cars, the removal of prize cars from circuit experience and other choices they've made, it reeks of a game economy balanced around MTs.

I think you're being too dramatic about this. A lot of the aspects of the campaign feel unfinished and a bit poorly balanced (Game barely using racecars, some events having backwards credits payouts, roulettes being once a day once menu books are done, etc). People are so sensitive to controversial monetization these days that games atleast try to offer some value in themselves and their MTX situations, it would be foolish of PD and sony to leave it the way it is right now and I bet they're already working on ways to make it easier on the playerbase.

GT6 was also like this early on in that the game had microtransactions and poor payouts, but early on PD decided to update the game because of people's reservations about how much influence it was percieved to have over the game's credits balance. I don't think this game will be any different because in the long term people will feel the burn and move on, and in these days of vying for player retention it doesn't make business sense to offer this value.

Maybe this is why I am worried. I don't have too much unlocked (i just passed Camaro Cafe Menu) and I don't see to much races with big rewards. So you say you can earn 1 milion in an hour? This could be good enough.

Invitation thing doesn't really bother me. I don't need every car. Makes those feel more special and rare. Eventually you will have just about every regular car and so that leaves something to try for in the roulettes (which 99% of the time I get the lowest prize in lol)

Let the suckers pay tons of real money for fake things. We, as the users, will hopefully benefit from their money and get a better product with more content. A bunch of people paid for cars so they can drive it for 2 mins and then be bored? Excellent. Now they can afford to license more real world tracks.

Yea they have 5 lap races where you get close to 100k per race.. might take me 1 hour and some changeI. Might have to set my gr.3 up for overkill though in its stock state I can only get 4th… pretty humbling.

I’m enjoying racing the ghost of my fastest friend during the license test make them more enjoyable.. they must of just put this in I didn’t see this before.

Help, I must be going mad. I did some sort of a challenge late last night that involved a red radical and brands hatch. I cannot find it anywhere? What am I doing wrong?

The idea behind the economy is to keep game alive for a 5+ years. This game just released and we in the very beginning of our journey. This will be a game as s service model and maybe the very last GT game. Don’t expect to buy every single car in a few months. PD will be updating game with new content and new ways to make money.

Are the circuit experience cars and times the same as in GTsport or are they different? (For the duplicate courses obviously)

I think the Legends is supposed to be a metaverse feature. I just don't like the concept and what it's been doing to the classic car market. But hey, I guess it's inescapable. I fully expect something to do with Barrett-Jackson in the next Forza Motorsport as well.

Eh,Horizon 5 was a big sucess and i' sure Motorsport will try to mimick that game's economy as much as possible.

I’m kinda surprised from all the negative talk about the GT7 AI why these pepper 🌶 races have not been discussed more… The ai races you super competitive.. it actually feels like a real race… there is tire wear fuel depletion and yea the chase the rabbit sequence sucks but once you going it’s good racing.. Another cool features is the time lapse during the whole event… even if you retry the race or leave the race the time on the track keeps going.. I did the event so many times it got dark.. the event felt alive and not so much scripted… I also tried to get slick and buy better tires but had to tune the power down a lil bit… still took 5th
