I think Jimmy Broadbent and Super GT's times were around the 2:16-2:18 mark, Dan Suzuki who usually does iRacing did a 2:20 on his first Gold run. What's considered a good time around the S-10 License? Took me about 5-6 tries and flying off the track from hitting wet spots šš No aids besides ABS on default
IA surprise me a lot and in a good way!Iām kinda surprised from all the negative talk about the GT7 AI why these pepper š¶ races have not been discussed moreā¦ The ai races you super competitive.. it actually feels like a real raceā¦ there is tire wear fuel depletion and yea the chase the rabbit sequence sucks but once you going itās good racing.. Another cool features is the time lapse during the whole eventā¦ even if you retry the race or leave the race the time on the track keeps going.. I did the event so many times it got dark.. the event felt alive and not so much scriptedā¦ I also tried to get slick and buy better tires but had to tune the power down a lil bitā¦ still took 5th
I did the Clubman+ races with the "š¶ļøš¶ļø" rating and the AI caught me off guard, they're no push over and they're not afraid to send it when you leave the door open. Cover the inside too early and they will try launch it around the outside too.Iām kinda surprised from all the negative talk about the GT7 AI why these pepper š¶ races have not been discussed moreā¦ The ai races you super competitive.. it actually feels like a real raceā¦ there is tire wear fuel depletion and yea the chase the rabbit sequence sucks but once you going itās good racing.. If you don't get a good launch on the grid starts then you will genuinely struggle to make a dent on the podium let alone win.
Aren't Tokyo Expressway and Special Stage basically based off the same thing anyways? We gave up R246 for Expressway? Can we undo that? I well and truly dislike it. Or, hell, bring back Route 7 and 11.
Basically, stop getting rid of fan favorite circuits (though, let's be honest, most of us hated R11 in GT3) and replacing it with tripe.
I'll take that for being on controller, thanks for the insight!I think Jimmy Broadbent and Super GT's times were around the 2:16-2:18 mark, Dan Suzuki who usually does iRacing did a 2:20 on his first Gold run.
When the BMW M6 blocked me inside during the hairpin at Suzuka and messed his line up coming out I was pretty impressedā¦ it felt as if he kinda over played it thus it made his acceleration out of the turn suffer.I did the Clubman+ races with the "š¶ļøš¶ļø" rating and the AI caught me off guard, they're no push over and they're not afraid to send it when you leave the door open. Yes, it's really fast that red Mini - would love to see what tune it's got on it!I had some issues with the mini classic. took me a load of attempts to finally win, but I'm not a great driver tbh. One red car kept bombing through!
Seconded on this, I want my Tokyo R246 back. It was waaayyy less frustrating of a city track than the expressway. My big irriation is the lack of indicators on when to brake on this track. I think I've only seen a couple, it makes it too easy to collide into walls. Making races always a pain on any layout of this place. Tokyo had curbs and runoff zones and more memorable markers that made racing more fun. or even chasing the rabbit more fun.We gave up R246 for Expressway? Can we undo that? It's been so long I confused 5 for 7. I wouldn't mind having R7 back either, but I meant 5.Seconded on this, I want my Tokyo R246 back. The same with SSR11, that one chicane in GT1 could be difficult, but some of that was just down to GT1's physics. It would be way more manageable with GT7's physics. I would love to see that back, but of course SSR5 has to return first.
Are they? I genuinely don't know. You know, now that I think about it, Expressway and R7 do have a lot in common...Aren't Tokyo Expressway and Special Stage basically based off the same thing anyways?
I absolutely want SSR7 back. I want those old school GT5 open lobby drags again![]()
The AI outside of the "š¶ļø" are hilariously dumb, but one thing I do like about rally (from what little I've done if it) is that it does punish people for brainlessly yeeting the car over jumps. You have to lift to level the car.Sweeet Jesus on a pogo stick do I not like rally in this game. It's better than...well, it's better than Sport. Marginally. I can make do with the tires-not-at-all-feel-like-they're-on-dirt physics, but the AI is still supremely dumb, deaf and blind. The American Wilderness mission? I had to perform rocket science in my head so the AI wouldn't shamelessly ram into me and give me a penalty. And the lead Stratos? I had to brake behind it constantly as I knew getting ahead of it too early would result in it t-boning me and, you guessed it, giving me the DQ.
Imagine if the cafe AI was like the AI in the pepper š¶ racesā¦ people would be ready to go crazy madd! šThe AI outside of the "š¶ļø" are hilariously dumb, but one thing I do like about rally (from what little I've done if it) is that it does punish people for brainlessly yeeting the car over jumps. You're missing a great deal on 2 million credits for the low, low price of only ā¬20!The economy in this game is ridiculously bad. Even worse than I feared. Or am I missing something?
This is the one Iām currently on, using the 09ā GT3. The AI is slow but itās not easy to catch up to first. The Porsche 911 Cup is tricky, you have to find the perfect parts to have a chance at first, all the while keeping it under 650 PP.
How much have you made so far?The economy in this game is ridiculously bad. Even worse than I feared. Or am I missing something?
I think this has been posted about 8 times now.
I have no idea. Is there a way to check? If I had to guess, maybe around 2 million. Thatās with all 39 menu books cleared, gold on all National A, National B and International A license tests, gold on 23 missions, a few other races won, and including all the roulette tickets that Iāve received. How much have you made so far?

I was thinking it might have nitrous.Yes, it's really fast that red Mini - would love to see what tune it's got on it!
I'm on menu book 34 and my races have consistently been 5 laps on longer tracks (like suzuka etc.) for a little while - this goes for in championships as well, where I just did a 3 race championship with 600pp "touring cars"So what are the events like towards the end of the campaign? GT500, Like The Wind, GT World Championship, All Stars, SuperFormula, does that sort of thing exist? What are the longest races?
Oh, ok so slightly underestimated it. 5 million, but again, thatās the whole āmain campaignā cleared and then some, and only managed to scrape together a quarter of one 20 million car.Go to optionsā¦.
