Good, so you're aware that grinding cash for cars is just part and parcel of the experience given that it's something that has existed in every game. Each game has had its "grinding event" nothing new, the main difference being thereseems less point in actually buying cars in GT7 at the moment due to the aforementioned lack of overall events.

I've had quite a few close, good races personally, it's been enjoyable, but too short compared to previous iterations. It's a shame you haven't found the same enjoyment as

I’m gonna eat some major crow.

I got a good tune for the Porsche and finally past that menu.

But now that I am on the WTC700 championship I am having a blast. Great races, if you make a mistake you can’t win. This is more like it!

I have a annoyning bug here: when I am driving the A-4 license test, i see that the cpu downshifts from 4. to 3. in the corner, where i lose a lot of time. I see in demo he stay in 4. and goes on. When i switch to manual shifting i have now the problem that, for what reason ever, or its juast a bug, the game downshifts me direct from the flying start after i got controll in the 1. gear??? WTF even if i know this and try to fast shift in speed from 1. to 3. i lose at least right on the start about 2-3 tenth of a second!

I drive the G29. PS4 pro. Hope someone knows a way to pass this bug!

Do you have the manual shifter with the G29? If it rests in 1st it will change to first when you get control.

…aaaaaaand I’m done for now! 😅 Screw that overpriced Jag, really. I’ll get it in 2024 or something. 😒

That's around the same ball park for the car's value in real life, it was valued at £7million in 1996, adjust that for inflations and it's more or less £13-14million. Also, that's the only one they ever made.

@JoaoSilva @JDMKING13 weirdly the Thrustmaster GT-T feels better on PS5, feedback feels more 'detailed'

So I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if the "input smoothing" or whatever you want to call it for controllers is just broken at its core, but on really tight hairpins some of my higher HP(600-ish) AWD cars refuse to turn. The worst offender being turn 10 at Interlagos, where nothing I try will get it around the corner.

It's hard to tell in the video, but this was with the stick as far right as it would go. I even tried wiggling it a bit to see what would happen, but no dice.

The input smoothing is good enough in most situations, and iffy-but-manageable in some situations, but my GTR can't handle this specific corner at any speed. I've tried going even slower, changing the power and brake balance, ripping the handbrake, and even mashing the throttle, but nothing will allow the car to take that turn specifically. Ripping the handbrake would make it rotate enough to make the corner, but the weird steering angle limit applied to counter steering as well, so I couldn't correct the slide(I even tried turning counter steer assist on and it couldn't catch it with any amount of throttle input). The clip was recorded after I gave up and dropped the AI difficulty just to get the race over with.

I love the game overall and even found myself excited to get home and play today, but every time I really start getting into it a weird thing like this or the busted tire selection in off-road challenges/license tests pops up, and it just kills my mood.

Could you have lowered it too much restricting the turning angle of the tires? I've heard that can be a issue. There is also a steering angle adapter in the Tuning Shop.

Don't give them ideas. We don't want Hagerty messing about in the used car dealership too. What a BS concept, lol. As if the values are ever going to do anything but go up for these unicorn cars.
TFW an actual S800 ends up at auction and goes for 1 million dollars. RIP

I was reading about this on Twitter a few days ago, you're not alone:

And no one seems to know how to correct it.

How low is the car? This may be a feature of the game and not a bug. If you lower the car too much, the tires come in contact with the fenders and reduce steering angle. I had this happen on an Integra build, and after I raised it a little and added some camber, it was fixed.

I experienced exactly that at Deep Forest in the Nissan GT-R '94 car for the Daily Race. The car simply stopped turning completely and just coasted into the wall. It's not my equipment as I replaced my F1 Podium wheelbase with the GT DD Pro equipment and it did the same thing. I also tried a YT setup, same thing. Anytime I 'missed' the apex and came in even just slightly fast, the car did that. It's why I had to use the VGT car for that daily race. I did also try the GT-R Nur '02 car and it had no problems. Very odd.

Not the same thing (?) but I crashed my VGT in Race B and then it completely stopped working and there was a flashing red light on the dash . I broke the car but I didn't think that was possible.

Bug found! In B-9: the demo driver has MT (offroad tyrs on) but when i drive i get KM (comfort medium tyres) on WTF!! 2 bugs in 30 minutes found? Who does nobody at PD recognise this?!?
