Yes. I would be very happy if they would go this way. More single player content is coming for sure, but i'm just wondering how low they will set the earnings.
I must say, i've never been as frustrated as this in my whole gaming career. Gran Turismo is my favorite game series and i could not wait to play GT7. To be honest, for me i just like the game and find the game very good. Yes there could be more content, AI and stuff should be better. We all know that. But it's just so frustrating that PD treats there fanbase the way they do now. They had an excellent release, things were looking very good. But then to deliberately LOWER payouts just to promote MT's... I mean it's been a few days now, but i'm just so mad about this **** move.
Making payouts lower may push some for mtx but does it really makes a big difference for those who don’t want to spend real money? I doubt someone will change their mind on spending 200 euros on a F1 because they lowered the payouts.

Just a tip for someone who might wanna try adding wide body on the C2 Corvette! The wheels can't get any wider to mach the fenders! 😀 I'm wearing the oem wheels at this photo but i tried aftermarket as well!

Sure but you can’t drive more than one car at once. Focus on the fun. Focusing on what’s wrong is not doing you any good and you clearly can’t move on either because you love the series.

If you have fun driving them what’s the problem? Try to enjoy the game for what it offers and don’t focus much on getting credits.
It's a car collecting game. This is explicit - the Cafe Menu system, the single player mode, is focused entirely on collecting cars.
When I bought the game, it had 424 cars in it. These are content of the base game and I paid for those 424 cars already. I want to be able to drive and enjoy them all.
I accept that I will have to play the game a lot to unlock some of them. But I don't have the time in my life to devote hundreds of hours to doing it. I'm willing to put in a couple of hours every day. That should be sufficient to unlock everything in the base game within about six months. If PD offers more content as DLC, on top of the base game's content, I'd be happy to consider paying real money to buy it. Everything that came as part of the full price base game is mine. I paid for it already. Blocking off sections behind a paywall is wrong.

True. Bad reviews and some threads can create very fast changes. Nobody wants game with 2.2 on MC. The game could be almost perfect with small tuning.

If you don’t have time, like I don’t, you have to accept you won’t be getting all the cars. It just how it is these days. When I was a kid I did the endurance races without B-Spec. Nowadays I wouldn’t do them.

Only problem is you paid the cars already. And they are blocked.

Haven't thought this out but what if they increased the Clean Race Bonus multiplier?

Some CR increases for both single and Sports modes while encouraging clean racing. CRB system isn't perfect, I know but at least it's a chance for an increase.

Yes indeed. For me personally is does not matter. I'll never pay 20 euro for 2 million credits. But the fact that they lowered the payouts just to push MT's is what is making me mad. I paid 100 euro for the 25th anniversary edition. Yet the game has not the content that we got with GT4 or GT5 for example. I remember those days we also paid 50 or 60 euro for the game.
And to be clear as i said before, i'm willing to grind to earn some cars. But that's the thing. Kaz said he doesn't want us to "mechanically" grind the same event over and over again. Then why lower the payouts?? It should be the opposite. Or: give us more content with decent payouts so we can move from event to event.

In GTS it was easier to earn credits. But earning experience was just so tedious. Even there i grinded for hours and hours on the same track just to earn experience to get to level 50. I have a feeling that's were GT7 is heading, but then for credits.

Why do they have to always take the fun away in some parts of the game just to push those MT's? Yes to earn money, i know. But this move caused a lot of negative noise and if anything it will just be more off putting for people to buy MT's now.

Just did a custom 30 laps race around monza on the super formula on the cockpit view and no hud.

This game is so much fun.
The formula cars, Redbull cars, top Gr1 cars, and the most extreme VGTs are the most fun to drive. You have to be in a sort of trance to extract the best performance. 😍

And to top things off: we already lost a day because 90% is online only. So even that is just so frustrating and so wrong.
Where are the times i could just start a game and enjoy it the way i liked it? Now we can't play because there is a server maintenance, or an update to fix things or i can't progress because i need to grind first for credits just to be able to buy tuning parts.

Though, it really shouldn't be that way. A grind is expected & a lot of people won't ever get all the cars, but it shouldn't be so tedious to the point where a lot of the in-game content requires tons and tons of play time to acquire just 1 vehicle alone.

And it shouldn't be raising eye-brows when a mircotransaction system comes online post-release that could explain why the grind is the way it is. Add in time-gated cars that will only pop-up once a month or more, along with a credit cap that sits right at the level of the most expensive cars (some of which, fall into being time-gated), and it's no wonder people are suddenly coming to the conclusions about why the grind is the way it is & the game feels predatory on those who can only invest a couple hours a day if they're lucky.

They should also add the car handicap from Sport again. Obviously it would need to be based on PP now, but I’m sure it could be done - +10% for every 10PP below the recommended?

It's not at all. At least half of the racing games have everything open. I've never heard about final boss after first tutorial.

Yeah, I knew but there is no way to unlock the rest.
Actually there are games where you can go to the final boss after the tutorial 😝

Those racing games are not collecting cars type of games. Those are usually licensed championships racing games.

C’mon you knew what you were getting into. It has always been like that. No gt game gave you access to all cars from the start.

And to be clear, I hate mtx (even though I have paid for the williams f1 car in gts and bought packs in fifa before). I don’t agree with them, I don’t want them in games and I’m not advocating for them. I even signed the petition that is going around.

And I do agree that you shouldn’t be grinding the same race over and over. The game needs more content desperately and better rewards for end game content like online and custom races.

Good, even there is everything OK.

Assetto Corsa is just for car lovers. Project Cars 2 is for car lovers (cars in the name). Many games are about enjoying cars. This is not Pokemons.

No GT game was without any races. I would like to race with current cars but there are no races.

At this point GT7 is like a person with a lower or middle class salary looking at a Bonhams or RM catalogue.
Beautiful cars and pictures to look at, but you know you can never afford one of those cars.
Yup. I can understand making some stuff harder to attain than others, that's always been the case in GT games. But now it seems purposefully designed so that the vast majority of players will never realistically have access to a fair whack of the cars.
The Hagerty dynamic pricing thing concerns me too. I feel like everything is going to rise in price each time it reappears, to make you have to pay for it now lest the price be higher again the next time it rolls around. Like, for example, the Ford Mark IV being 4.6 million but the XJ13 12 million, after both were 20 million in GTS. Should I expect the Mark IV to rise up closer to the XJ13's price next time it appears? After if the road version of the McLaren F1 is 18.5 million, how much are the race versions going to cost? I really don't get why they'd put so much effort into modelling these cars only to try their best to ensure so few players ever get to use them. You can't fall in love with a car if you never get to even try it.

At this point I’m starting to feel I’m getting trolled. The game has no races? You can make your own.
