I love noticing the little details. Just bought the anti-lag for my 600PP Focus and I love the way it crackles and pops at low throttle. Also the difference that the dynamic weather can make. The 600PP Championship first race at Red Bull varies massively depending on how wet it is, basically because the AI drivers are terrible if there's standing water.

How can they have ****ed up the online section of the game so badly? Have they not been doing this long enough? Micro stutters, lag, error after erro, lock ups and eternal load screens. Just to join a damn track day at the ring.

I just quit trying, hope to have better luck in GT sport.

I tried again at Laguna Seca today and well, couldn't do it still. I instead started on Willow Springs instead, but only bronzed Big Willow and Streets of Willow. I later bronzed Sardegna road course.

Also today, I decided to just do some of the later events to earn the newly increased credit payouts plus try the new events. I did La Sarthe and Sardenga. Sardenga was a pain with my 2018 Ford GT LM and my 2015 Audi R8 LMS. They could not stay stable and after 2-3 attemps with the 2018 GT LM, I couldn't win. I got 2nd at best. I did win with the R8 LMS though.

As for the new La Sarthe race, I used my Porsche 911 GT1 and it did the job. Though it's very thirsty, it barely lasts 2 laps between pit stops. The Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM is a lot better at fuel usage by comparison when I used it on the shorter La Sarthe race. It was also very good on the Sardegna race, it was dominant despite having to nerf it.

Gotta carry more speed through those turns. 👍

Imagine pre ordering and and paying extra for a certain car and credits ("special/invitation" w/e )

Then they have to give it to everyone as an apology...

Got a feeling this Thursday? (already in update news )Maybe you will be able to buy any invitation car for a limited period of time becuase everyone lost their invitations from menus/completion roulette tickets.

The invitations are stupid. Just put them on a ticket of thats how your gonna let it be distributed.

I got Carrera gt for final 6 star. Think i got a 500k from a random daily 6 star. Didn't know it was possible.

Dammit wrong thread..

They're a neat idea, but the implementation is... something.

Having them set so you can't buy [halo car] unless you already own one (as a prize) or a significant number of exclusive or sporting cars from the rest of the range would be neat and sufficiently realworldy.

You originally couldn't buy an Enzo unless you had owned an F40 and F50. Ford only sold second-gen GTs to people with a history of fast Ford ownership and a public profile (either through being actually famous or an influencerer). The FXXK Evo, Vulcan, and P1 GTR were all invite-only (although in the McLaren's case you had to own a regular P1 already, which obviously can't apply in GT).

Imagine if in GT7 you had to own (or have owned, thus unlocked on the Collector screen) a Focus ST, a Focus RS, a Mustang GT, and a first-gen GT in order to be invited (in perpetuity, of course) to buy the second-gen GT. It'd lose none of the "special" feeling of owning one that they're going for, while being true-to-life in a sufficiently not annoying way.

Based on the game's work-arounds, I think they should revamp the invitation system to be more permanent, really, so at least there's some incentive to get it. It can work this way, such as:

Aston Martin: Acquire every V12-powered Aston Martin model (at launch).
Bugatti: Acquire the Veyron Gr. 4 and both versions of the VGT.
Citroen: Acquire the GT by Citroen Race Car (Gr. 3) and win ten races with it.
Ferrari: Own at least one modern (Brand Central), retro (Used Car Dealership-exclusive) and legendary Ferrari.
Lamborghini: Acquire at least one car from the Countach, Diablo, Murcielago and Aventador model families.
Pagani: Acquire the Pagani Zonda R and run at least 25 time trials with it.
Porsche: Own at least one car from every Porsche 911 generation (at launch), such as 930, 964, 993, 996, 997 and 991.

As they were still available in the UCD, I thought I'd by a second M3 E30 to play with. Tuned it with everything available, although I think I might have stopped with one more weight reduction still to go. Ran the stock M3 at Brands and then the tuned one for comparison. Quite a difference - literally 20 seconds a lap faster!

The 4 star ticket is an odd one. I've been tracking my prizes from each type of ticket and so far I have had 9 4-star tickets. Yet to win any money.
  • 2 car invites
  • 3 tuning parts
  • 4 cars (Mazda VGT Gr3, KTM X-Bow, Red Bull X2014 Jr, VW Scirocco). The Mazda was disappointing given that I have the pre-order version.

Meanwhile, I'm a cumulative 35/35 on getting credits from 1-3 star tickets (23/35 are the lowest value prize for the ticket).

I spent literally 20 minutes doing that sector 2 yesterday and didn’t even get to the finish once. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to try again.
For anyone struggle with sector 2 on Deep Forest,
1. set the brakes to 2 in the rear,
left foot brake on a heavy amount of gas in the first corner
2. Eat the track edges and put two tires on/over the strip for the corners before the 1st tunnel
3. 2nd gear - to 3rd gear around the semi circle
4. See step one but if it starts to slide, apply gas (Cook the gas like you're in Formula Drift if you need to) and steer out.
& Brake all the way into the rumble strip and feather 2nd on the exit.

It might help it might not, that's how I did it on pad yesterday and it was still a pain. I spent an hour cutting time down instead of getting gold and leaving yesterday 😂😂
