so is it now bad to admit you don't despise GT7 again?
Not at all. Certain members are just oblivious to the genuine, glaring flaws in the game, choosing to ignore them and backchat any member who points them out.

It's an enjoyable enough game but man it has some flaws that won't just disappear with 3 additional races and a letter.

He referred to it in his post. How is that "choosing to ignore" it. Also "all the content" is no content; it's three races using existing content.

Why are you choosing to ignore all the aspects in which GT7 does not improve upon, and indeed is worse than, GT Sport in your statement that "literally every aspect of the game has been improved from Sport"?

It isn't just 3 races. They also added 8 new endurance races and in his comment he is complaining about the lack of endurance races.

Which, again, can only be done once and never be rewarded for again. Now, are you going to address the counterpoint to your original statement or not?

As a reminder:

And they did. More cars, more tracks and literally every aspect of the game has been improved from Sport.
And then the replies that follow it. Are you going to address that, or pretend that it never happened?

It has the best graphics, sound, physics, loading times, AI, tracks, cars, and controller feedback of any racing game I've ever played.
Best graphcis would give to fh5, best physcis to acc but as a whole package agree, best racing game there is. Just need to fix lobbies and connection quality in sportsmode + deliver more content in future updates.

Literally every aspect that matters to me. Graphics, sound, physics, loading times, AI, tracks, cars, controller feedback, time and weather changes. The other complaints people have don't affect my enjoyment of the game. They are free to have their opinions as I am free to have mine.

I see. Now it's the things that only matter to you, whereas previously the statement was made as an absolute.

If you can't argue your side of things, I guess moving the goalpost is a sufficient second choice.

As I can only ever speak for myself it's not moving the goalpost but pointing out the obvious fact that when someone gives their opinion on a forum that opinion won't necessarily be shared by everyone. What you see as issues I see as tiny nitpicks not worthy of consideration. That being said my opinion doesn't diminish your opinion. Everyone has different priorities.

I guess you really can't admit to liking this game anymore, maybe we should call gtplanet "The Number 1 Anti-Gran Turismo" site

is this all because someone has a opinion on Gran Turismo 7 that isn't rabid foaming at the mouth hatred?
Funny, I see people admit to liking GT7 all the time. Literally everyday and the world doesn't come crashing down on their head, like you seem to imply.

And, no, it's because someone made a statement that is categorically false. That's the issue. Not that they like GT7 or admitted as much. It's the blatantly false statement that's the issue.

Can anyone tell me what the current size of the game is after patch 1.12? Forgive me if this is in a FAQ somewhere.

I plan to buy an external HDD for all of my PS4 games but I'm wondering how many PS5 games I will be able to fit on the PS5 factory installed hard drive alongside GT7.

108GB on PS5; 104.2GB on PS4.

Could you point me to the line in the AUP that states positivity towards Gran Turismo is a requirement of membership?

What your looking for is an echo chamber, and this most certainly isn't where you are going to find it.

You haven't played the game if you think that's how they behave.
Just do the Trail Mountain cup with the race line on. Every car just follows that line like they are a herd of elephants on their migratory route. When you do those races a couple of times, you know where, when and which car you are going to overtake. I'm even using the racing line aid now on every race so I know if I should overtake them on the inside or outside because they just bump into you if you dare to cross their path.

If I remember correctly, GT5 or 6 had a few races where if an AI car "spun out"and you re-ran the race, the AI car would spin out in the exact same place. It was like PD treated the AI like a developer who made an action game where the same boss or enemy would be in the same place if you replayed that section of the game.

Yes, the AI in GT5/6 was pretty bad. The way it would just move onto its line regardless of whether you were there or not, even at 180mph was...

... oh wait, that's GT7 again.

Funny, we just had someone today saying we never say anything negative about GT/PD.

I like GT7. I liked GT Sport too. Your move.

I watched an AI Mustang Gr4 make a mistake the other night and go off into the gravel at Maggiore. I ran the race again after that and it did not do the same thing.

You first said GT7 improved upon GTS in every aspect, no qualifiers or exceptions provided. When we pointed out all the parts of GT7 that objectively werent, you've changed that to every aspect that matters to you.

That is the definition of moving the goalposts.

You moved from zero qualifiers to 'for me'.

That a change from an unequivocally statement of fact that applies to every single owner of GT7, to a single person, you.

Literally you could not have moved the goalposts further.

Some people have trouble parsing the fact that you can like something and criticise it at the same time.

He didn't take issue with people criticizing the game. He took issue with people criticizing people for enjoying the game.

Is the track teased in these images still Apricot Hill? Could be perspective but I'm finding it difficult to match it with any section.

Looks like the section from the tight hairpin to the final chicane of Apricot Hill. Not holding my breath but would be nice to see in the eventual “April content update”

And who might this person be? If you're referring to me, no, I took issue with you stating something as a fact and then moving the goalposts (and the lack of any qualifiers) to a statement suiting only yourself as you were unable to defend your original stance.

If you're referring to someone else, point them out too. Of course, you're just going to ignore this altogether and move the goalposts yet again, so...
