New cars are coming and Porsche 911 GT1 98 coming in update.
As of today, I'm baffled by the absence of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 '73. It's like the only iconic generation they skipped. They have the Porsche license? Then it HAS to appear in GT7, along with the 959.

(Imagine it modded, like the Singer version)

It can even be seen multiple times in this music video that was used to advertise GT7 OST (00:30, then blowout starting at 1:49). I was sure the car was in the game, then I checked the car list....

If it is fake then someone did a decent job, because all cars seem to be taken from the same surrondings, judging by reflections. However, those reflections do not match reflections from the last teaser posted by Kaz. Difference is more obvious if we make both pics brighter.

The spacing and scale looks very amateur compared to what we usually get.

That's a good point. Usually, I think, all cars have the same scale on thise teasers, and some Toyota Tundra would appear noticably bigger than a Miata, for example. Here all cars are in the same scale. Makes me believe it's just a fake even more.

Yeah, so, two things here.

First of all, the user in question was removed from this site after a pretty shameless, relentless campaign of self-promotion. I appreciate you were trying to be helpful and bring information, so there's no issue for you here, but this is not a good source and we don't allow his videos on this site.

Additionally, this is almost certainly bollocks, for several reasons - not least of which being he's apparently omitted a car we will be getting in the next five weeks. Kazunori Yamauchi hasn't Tweeted in a week (yes, I've checked for deleted Tweets), so the source of the image is not him, and it actually looks quite a lot like someone's lined up five cars in another title (Forza Horizon 4 would be a good guess) and faked it to catch some piss-poor outlets on a hook.

Whether he's made it up (which I wouldn't reject as an explanation) or has simply been fooled by the fake and made a video interpretation based on a single unverified source, I can't say.

I only turn off the race BGM and leave it on for the replays.

Otherwise, unless you're streaming or playing in a library, it makes absolutely no sense to turn off all (even the menus? Wow) the music.
Sure it does. It's annoying. Makes sense to me.

ESPECIALLY the menus lol. I can't stand another second of Lenny Ibizarre's butchering of classical music.
Hm, I see. Ibizarre's versions of classical music aren't that bad, honestly. Blue Waltz sounds decent, actually. -shrug-

The only bad track in the game to me is "Vroom." Seriously, it's, um... yeah. >_>;; And I say that as someone who used to listen to rap, btw. It's not good rap, honestly.

Except it's a homologation of several different music styles. UK Rap, US Rap, Afrobeats, and Reggae.

Seeing as the main driving factor behind Granturismo's quirky music has always been Japan's fascination, and embrace of "jazz fusion", it fits in perfectly.

Not trying to convince you to like the song, that would be asinine, just trying to point out that the inclusion and licensing of this song is on par with their musical taste.

Nah, man, I mean... It's the chorus of the song I mainly have issue with. The constant vroom vroom vroom vroom vroom. Seriously, it's rather... um, yeah.

I think we're going to get the real silhouette image until the end of the month which will basically include the Toyota GR010.

The picture came from here:

Background checks on the account gave me suspicious vibes - while the account was created last September, the other two tweets they made were a "sliding into DM" reply (which is in English; the source tweet is in Japanese) and a "No McDonalds?" meme regarding the Russia/Ukraine conflict, none of which are related to GT.

EDIT: There's also the timing issue - there's no GR010 here, but because of Toyota GR GT Cup is on June 6, the GR010 should have come this month.

These cars are likely candidates for future updates

In the recent update notes there was some`new`label additions to the UCD and LCD,has anybody seen these on their game? Not showing on mine, also it says fixed an issue where you could perform an oil change if not needed.I can still do oil change after change.lol

Yeah it's not showing for anyone I believe. Would be very useful for the UCD, less so with Legendary. Hope it actually shows up mext update, nice lottle quality of life thing.

Am I the only one that turns all the music off? Like, it's one of the first things I do/did when starting the game.

I turn off the race bgm, but menu music I like to keep on 😁

I want more options in the chase view settings.
1. Being always level or leans along with the car
(GT5 (Ver.2.02 and 2.03 only) and GT7 have the latter one, while most of GT games have the former one.)
2. Follows the car's direction or follows the moving vector
(GT2 had this setting)

I hope the chase view can be saved per car or PD will fix the ones for some cars.

The settings I usually use on many cars allow the camera to track the car at the proper distance and altitude, just like in a typical racing game.
However, in some vehicles, such as Jeep, the cameras are too close or too low, making it difficult to get adequate visibility with the same settings.

It may be a minor issue, but it is a bit inconvenient to change the camera settings each time or select a different camera angle just for these few exceptions.

Black screen and have to close the game? I get that when I go into a lobby that’s already in a race (which is half the time because of the stupid lack of telling us). And then when I exit it will give me this crash maybe 1 in 5 times. It’s comically crap for a AAA game.
It’s when I try to join the track for the practice. I get a black screen for just a couple of seconds and then the infamous 108255 error and report the error screen.

Basic question, I'm using a wheel+pedals and I've been playing with ABS on weak. Should I be putting less pressure on the brake pedal when the ABS icon starts to go red?

They did change the chase cam of the '08 NSX GT500 in a previous update so it matches that of the Lexus and Nissan. It was super low and close before. I hope they continue to look into adjusting the view for other cars because some of them are downright impossible to drive with chase cam as you described. The VW bus is the biggest offender I can think of off the top of my head.

Asside from the visibility problems, it's also just annoying and a bit jarring to see such inconsistency where some cars look twice as big just because the camera is so close.
