Meeting to put the house in order?

I see this as marketing communication with exaggerated promises and nothing else.
How many features and gimmick stuff were introduced/re-introduced as exciting and then dropped after GT5-GT6-GTS?
Marketing, trying to sell more.
A few examples: head tracking, b-spec, track creator, custom gauges, VR (very limited in GTS, who knows about GT7), nascar and rally licenses, real-time telemetry, compatibility with MoTec i2 professional data analysis software.
Now there's this Sophy thing. I don't know how good it'll be and if it will come to stay.

Besides, I bet this is the guy who pushed for microtransactions and the horrendous economy system in order to favor them.

What do you mean hardly? This blog post was the second response to the backlash, the first one was the Kaz message on the Gran Turismo site. They posted this March 25th.

I mean that regardless of the backlash, they were (most likely) going to add content even before the whole backlash kicked off - if anything the backlash kinda accelerated the process but as seen by this months content, it didn’t really impress all that much. The promise looked like it was having multiple content patches based on the choice of wording.

Do you still have only few music tracks during racing? In GTS it felt like it's so much music. Here I know every song already and it's very annoying.

Given the huge commercial success of GT7 I suspect we're about to see unprecedented support for the Gran Turismo franchise from Sony. The title has exceeded Horizon Forbbiden West as Sony's biggest title this year. And looks set to be second behind only Miles Morales amongst Sony's current PS5 line-up.

What form this support will take is anyone's guess. Sony could use GT7 to spearhead their PSVR2 launch, we have PC possibilities, spin-off titles. Or all of the above! Gran Turismo really fits well into Sony's expansion into service titles & eSports. Delivering something very different from most 1st Party offerings.

That all sounds great but they can't even fix the warps and lag in bloody lobbies.

Zero issues with GTS lobbies.

I noticed a problem with the livery editor, when using the interior view the decals on the mirror don't show up, maybe it's a problem only for me, but i don't know, is there a way tk solve the problem?
(nsx gt500 2016 - ps4)

Does anybody else collect multiple of the same racing cars to apply different liveries on them?

With regards to this, and before I save up too much, do we know what the garage car limit is?

I’m traveling internationally but couldn’t afford to miss the last LCD cars, so I packed my PS5 and controller in my backpack. What I’d give for the PS5 Slim! Other than socks and underwear, not much else fit inside. Damn my OCP!!

I've been abroad now for just over a week and will be mostly travelling until mid June with a couple of short stops at home in between. But I am prepared.

Before I left, I built up some funds and left the PS5 on Rest Mode to use Remote Play on my phone to pick up cars in UCD and Legendary, as well as getting my daily miles for the tickets. Using the app is not sufficient to do any racing, but I just blast the Tomahawk X on Route X for very quick daily workout. All tickets have been disappointments so far 😆

The two stops between my trips will be well used to gather some more money to buy cars while Im away :D

Im not always in good internet connection, but Remote Play has come through so far 🤞🏻

yes i do, well i haven't started yet in gt7, but in gts i did, anyway i'm planning to buy 4 gtr gt500, 6 rc f gt500 and 5 nsx gt500 to recreate races form 2016 super gt.

NOOB QUESTION.
I am constantly having problems with GT7 that I can't solve.
It is the sudden uncontrollable oversteer in RWD, as if the outward rear spring has abandoned its role.

Is this because the contraction side of the rear damper is too soft?
Or should I just set up the rear sway bar stiffer?

Just did a race online where someone had a flag emoji in their chat message. How do you use emojis like that? I can’t even get that text menu to work when in-game.

Is there any way to group cars in your garage?I know you can tag them as favourites but there doesnt seem to be any option to group them together, the sort option doesnt have a favourites option and in any case once you restart the game it defaults to its stock setting.
A separate garage within the garage to store different groups of cars would be great, would save time searching through your cars.
It’s a feature I’m hoping gets added. We’ve had the hide feature before, but I think cars used to get deleted/disappear/warning symbol, in GT5 or GT6.
The way we can search by groups is fantastic, but it doesn’t stay that way. We can’t lock it. Enable that and I don’t have to keep selecting cars to move up my list, when I’m doing custom races.

Apply partial throttle until the car is facing straight ahead.

Well...it's hard to explain well, but it works differently than oversteer when accelerating too hard.
It would be easier to understand if I say that only the rear out side spring sinks completely and does not return to its original position, causing the car to lose control.

If the oversteer is caused by too much acceleration, I can use throttle and steer to regain control of the attitude from there, but unlike that, when this movement occurs, no matter how shallow the slide angle is, it is completely out of control and the car will half-spin to the inside.

Hmmm been kicked out the game now in offline mode and the internet's running fine ?
oh it started working again just as i was about to post then it went out again but now its back hmm very strange

Just type [#140] for example! Different numbers have different flags! There was a thread with the list back in gtsport! It was called Unicode i think!

Me and my housemates just tried to get some split screen games going. I couldn’t find a way to access garage cars, is it really limited to just the couple dozen arcade cars? I also saw people couldn’t turn off P2 assists, and I couldn’t get any further. What even is the point of split screen if they take out any of the functionality in it?

If you add your garage car as "favourite" it will appear in split screen mode for selection.

I don't think there is limit there.

Finally beat every event in the game after about 270 hours, and I only have the legendary car trophy left until I can collect the platinum. I promised myself to take a break when I reached this point so that’s what I’m gonna do going forward. I did the same with GT Sport and returned when there had been a pretty substantial content drop. Hopefully the game will get some new tracks/cars and well needed balance adjustments not too far into the future. And most of all I want to see some changes to the online environment because that’s where I want to spend most of my time. Nothing beats a really good online race when it actually works as intended.

The suspension physics in GT7 are questionable, and I am familiar with the situation you described. But again, partial throttle isn’t just beneficial for controlling traction mid-turn, but it also helps to manage balance and the workload forced onto the springs while turning. Notice how the nose lifts when you go full throttle. By only applying partial throttle mid-turn you effectively prevent forces from shifting around to the point where the car gets unstable.

Okay, I did not expect the Porsche 962 to be the cheapest Group C car in the game. I really thought it would be nearly as expensive as the Sauber Mercedes. I'm not complaining though, it'll be easy to collect now. and buy a clone for an alternate livery like with the other group c cars I bought.
