- Fixed an issue where selecting 'Rivals Settings' > 'Rivals Selection' > 'Random' in a [Custom Race] and starting with a Toyota GR010 HYBRID '21 would result in a one-make race.
This issue wasn't limited to the GR010, in fact I noticed it with the CLK-LM as well. However that seems to have gotten fixed too.

Anyway, it would be great if the opponent selection was truly random when you pick that option. Right now you always get a random selection from the class your car is in. For instance a Gr.X car always gets Gr.X opponents, a Gr.2 car gets Gr.2 opponents and a road car gets road car opponents.

I think that GT Sport's opponent selection (N100 - Gr.1) was much better.

Weird thing. Are the circuit flag Marshall’s, part of the server?
I’ve taken pics just now. The Marshalls are in the pic when I pause the game. When I take the pic, they disappear after the rendering.

An other case for The X Flies

IT's been trimmed on the right side ...
(thickness of the grass of the right side )

That was me snapping the pic and not exactly showing the whole screen on the right. of course, I had to use my phone because the server was still not up. Notice the marshall is still not visible on the left.

I got a one star ticket this morning but it had gold bars and money on it. I've only seen that on six star tickets before.

The main problem is solved.. FFB is fixed... and it turns out it was only about 3 ..... cars. Instead of just blocking those cars or whatever, everyone had to suffer.. well. The spook is over and we "may" look forward to the most important things.
Usually I don't defend PD but I will on this. They had to be sure that it was only those 3 cars that caused the issue. They could have just released the last patch to turn down FFB on just those 3 cars but if they weren't the only ones affected by the issue and someone got injured after the patched the just those 3 cars they would have been liable. So from a business standpoint it makes sense to nerf everything until you can figure the root cause.

Whatever you don't get from the roulette is just an illusion. If you restarted the game after getting your reward, everything other than the reward you earned would be different.

A 1 star ticket can have 100k on it which is one bar. Other than that, the tickets also can fill slots with impossible prizes, because it already knows what you will get. It can show 1M on a 1 star ticket, but that isn't a possible prize at all.

Looks like my hunch to buy the game a year later was right, but I still bought into the hype when the physics were updated and I bought the game in late April (27th).

GT is on a weird spectrum of simulation and arcade. As a drifter, I will only speak for drifting, I haven't raced GT3 cars in years. If in order to be smooth with your inputs, and hold angle, you need a steering wheel and peripherals, like shifter, and handbrake, then I'm playing Assetto Corsa; arguably much better and with a whole lot of modded content.

The moment Granturismo asks you to buy a separate input device to even be considered competitive, it's over. There are much better games/simulators out there.

On GTSport, playing Sport Mode for two years until I got an A+/S rating, I was able to compete in the Top 4 splits using only my controller. I was consistently 0.5-0.7s off the top drivers in the weekly leaderboards. I invested in a wheel to be more competitive without realising that I needed to essentially relearn how to drive on a wheel competitively.

When it came to drifting, I was able to compete for years in communuty drift competitions and be able to win a lot of them. I was able to hold gratuitous angle (thanks to the unrealistic drift tab), but more importantly, I was smooth. I could lay down a smooth lead line and the chase driver had ample opportunity to ride the pocket.

Granturismo 7's physics are great, I can actually feel through my DS4 inputs, the loss of grip, the gain in grip, the suspension load up, etc. Howeber the controller inputs are abysmal.

Not to mention the fact that now the settings meant for wheel torque and sensitivity also apply to your Dualshock controller. If you don't believe me, try it out yourself. It's no longer a case of just slide the slider to -2 sensitivity and you'll be fine. You can actually "fine tune" your steering rack. I'm not sure if they meant for this to be this way, or if it's just a bug, but it's there.

For drifting, I set steering sensitivity to -2, force feedback torque to 4, and force feedback sensitivity to 2. If you use 10/4/2, it will be more like GTSport's -2 steering sensitivity but due to the way Granturismo 7 applies controller inputs, it will be really twitchy.

The input shenanigans I can put up with, the server instability and lack of lobby features, however, I can't. The micro stutters and input lags alone drive me up the wall. I know I'm not the only one that experiences this, hell I even bought a third dualshock controller just to make sure my other two weren't dying out, it still happens with this game and this game only.

I'm playing with a DS4, earphones hooked up to the audio port, and the second there is input lag, my sound cuts out. It's as if my controller just turns off for a millisecond. In that millisecond, I would lose steering input, not throttle or brake input, and I would either spin or straighten out in a drift.

It's the most annoying thing I've ever experienced in a game.

/rant, I guess.

TLOU Remake leaked for September.

Which is not the biggest surprise. But this is a ground-up remake also announced simultaneously for PC. Although not a day & date release.

Does make you think a GT7 PC announcement edges closer.

Yes, a remake of a 9 year old game coming to PC years after initial console release definitely makes you think they're going to announce GT7, a game released just four months ago, on PC.

so is there any way to look up information about our time trials?

i mean i know i didn't have a world-beating time, my credit balance didn't get any noticeable increase. but i guess i thought there might be a ticket or something with the information, at least.
