It’s PD, Man. We just don’t know.

Look… it’ll be the third and fourth Suzuki in a row. I think it was the same with Renault in GT Sport(would have to look that up). Whatever PD are doing, I guess this gets those cars out the way. Only pattern we’re seeing, after these two updates, are two cars from Japan and one from the USA. Who knows what the rest of the year looks like.

Alright, so datamined list is real, interesting. Hopefully, updates will continue to follow it.
Escudo Pikes Peak! Real intrigue now is if it's "Pikes Peak is this week so here's a legendary Pikes Peak car and scapes" kind of deal or if it's "Pikes Peak is this week so here's a legendary Pikes Peak car and scapes and the track". Hoping for the track but not expecting it.

I just took a deeper look at that list, there are many good returning cars and of course lotus brands. I'm personally hyped for

It's definitely gonna be a stock roadster. If that's the case, I hope I can use it to recreate the "Hula Girl" featured in Forza.

As I said in a predictions thread, I think it could be the Pikes Peak track coming in this update as that would explain PD's lack of track content in the first 2 updates. They could've been putting their track modeling efforts towards this track as it's a pretty lengthy course at 12.42 miles long. We could even see multiple layouts of this track.

Of course, this is a BIG IF on whether it'll be the track or not, but it would justify in my head somewhat on why we haven't gotten much track content at launch or as DLC, it was in prep for a bigger track.

I only played Sport at the end of its life but there were no contact penalties at all which is pretty much where we are now and it’s horrendous. The system before the last update was brilliant. Yes it got things wrong and handed out unfair pens but it basically eradicated push to pass and running others cars wide off the track; both of which have now completely ruined Sport mode

PD fiddled with the system throughout its lifespan, there very much were contact penalties in the past, sometimes too heavy (to the point you couldn’t bump draft without a DR reset), sometimes too light, back and forth over the years.

Again, they have a raft of esports drivers on tap to give feedback on the penalty and pace balancing, and 4+ years of a game dedicated to making this work. Surely it should be better.

Esports drivers just aren’t getting punted and rammed like the rest of us do, the only experience of the penalty system they have is track limits and when it gets it wrong, which I presume is why it was turned off. Just look at the videos I posted on the dailies thread to see what a mess it’s become now.

They'll probably use the censored version of the livery, providing that car has one. And if it doesn't then they'll probably make a fictional one for it.

Just for clarification since quite a few people here don't seem to understand this:
Just because the list is (very likely) real, does not mean that all of these cars are coming. These are just cars for which PD would have some sort of data, which may not even go further than some intent of possibly maybe creating that car in the future.
Maybe some are cars which they started on, but never finished due to a change in priorities.
Then there's cars which will have been modelled, but have licensing issues (e.g. Lotus).

The official 'barcode' livery. That's what other licensed games use.

But yeah, it's just a text entry at this point. That's why nobody is talking about it, not much to really say other than it might come, but also might not.

Just please bring some new events, no point adding cars to just grind away at what you have already done. I really like the game but new content needs to be added to prevent it going stale so quick. I've out it down and back on assetto Corsa, f1 21 and wrc 10. We need new events
