i feel like we've built a tolerance to it... but clearly another update that shows that GT7 is simply a revenue vehicle for Sony like FIFA for EA and NBA for 2K. it is not a platform for esports or trying to push the limits of gaming / genre.

the only content updates could well have been created before the game's release - the true updates are to ensure the user base spends more and earns less.

for $2.4m, you can buy an engine ticket, and for many on here it will result in one they already have. $500k for a hypebeast version of a car. then they added an F1 car that many users will have an emotional tie to, will make it available for 3 days, and it will cost more real-life money than the game (and 4x the modern equivalent). and yet again, the new races do not pay at the rate of the top races - i'm old enough to remember people on this forum saying the reason for the lack of high paying races was 'PD doesn't have enough resources to make them'. split screen is still effectively not an option for a racing video game. and no updates for Sport mode (* i should wait before making this claim, if MR cars are better and penalties improve, that is a win), which is probably where the high-level users spend much of their time (similar to how 2K gutted its 'play now' head to head modes).

its nice to drive when the Sport mode weeks are good (and you don't get punted), but i fear this game will only lose users from here on out (excepting sales and christmas week).

Still can't filter by catergory, regular cars/ F1 cars, cars by year or models.

It's really difficult to create custom races with such limited options.

If I hypothetically want to create a clio cup, you are relying PP and weight retrictions and thecgood grace of online players

The risks of being honest about GT7.

Side note Craiyon nailed the prompt in one of the 10 examples. Crying while a certain finger moves the face into a very forced smile.

As usual, this video is unwatchable, but are you claiming to have been "shadowbanned" by PD for "being honest about GT7"?

Do you have any evidence of this? I mean, it's not much of a "shadow" ban if you know about it, is it?

I'm claiming that it may be a risk of being honest like what happened with 2K Sports not inviting some of it's most popular content creators to press events or some Madden creators not getting closed beta access like they did before speaking out against the game. Also the video works fine for me in the embedded format on this site. I did add background images for this one and have a few more ideas for upcoming videos but as of now I don't know what if anything will help for it loading. Really I'm just trying to find whatever works so I don't have to record videos like I did years ago. For whoever still stayed around since the videos with shakey phone recorded gameplay in the background, I very much thank y'all.
the delusion bro
I hope it ends up being delusion, but seeing how other companies treat some that tell the negatives about them makes me unsure.

Cars have now less understeer, a bit more oversteer, when you force a car into a corner it's easier to loose the rear, cars jump less on the kerbs, i think they improved a lot.
Someone in the physics thread said the cars are much more understeery now.

If that were true, you'd been shadow banned by Sony, not PD. And no, I ain't gonna watch an 18 minutes video, sorry!
Yeah, I agree that it is more up to Sony than PD for who is punished but I don't know who gathers the data on what should or shouldn't have consequences.
And if you think Kaz would invite you for any of his press events

I said right near the very beginning of the video that I'm not fast enough to make it so the events, I said later on that IF I were fast enough, I would still do the same thing as I am now.

New GT7 bundle coming.

This would be very good news for me, as I’ve been using my housemate’s PS5 to play my anniversary edition copy of the game, but we’re all moving out and going our separate ways in September. I still haven’t been able to find one to nab for myself yet.

If I could snatch me a PS5 and simultaneously hand my friend a copy of GT7 in return for letting me use his console so gratuitously that would be excellent.

I'm claiming that it may be a risk of being honest
Wow. That's ridiculous - and smacks of right-wing dogwhistle stuff. "They don't want you to know the truth...", "They'll cancel me for saying this but..." and so on.

Exactly what are you basing this claim on? I mean, you have an eighteen minute video titled "The risks of being honest about GT7" with the word "shadowban" in the title card, and unless you have some evidence that PD is taking action against people who are "honest" those risks are... literally nothing at all.

This is what people mean when they say "clickbait" - nonsense with a grandiose title that it absolutely cannot support in any way.

Or it's what they used to mean; now it's "I don't like this video", but I have no idea whether I do or not as I can't see anything in it.

Or you can try being more charismatic.

You know, so you can snatch the fast drivers' steering wheels instead.

There isn't evidence now of PD doing this, but there is plenty of evidence that other companies have done this. From 11:25 to 13:35 in this video that I mentioned in my video (language warning) ] that one of the biggest former NBA 2K creators had an instance where his content was flagged by the company and so he decided to push back.
At 19:00 of this video I also mentioned, EA gave the closed beta codes to their own affiliates first before any unbiased reviewers
I hope the video does end up being clickbait, but I don't know what PD is going to do yet so I can't say if I'm overexagerating or not.

Well.. That (world rally challenge) was certainly different. Took a while to settle down and stop over driving.. just find a rhythm.

Didnt even come close to 700pp, just used a stock 86 Gr.B Rally car. Got 2 half a second penalties but no idea which corner.
