PDs tweet about the "guess the price if this grid" is absolutely fascinating. How far of any worldly sense of logic must they be to think that could be something positive. They clearly know nothing and read nothing of substance from their customers and fans.
isn’t that account just run by a marketing company, not PD?

Let's be that guy...

I don't grind every day and i have accumulated 135.000.000 credits. In 185 days of play with a total playtime of 86hours. hmm the 185 days isn't even my real playtime. it's because i have the game since launch. So 160 days of play seems more like the reality since i've been on holidays a couple of times.

So buying that grid seems totally feasible.

Social media guy had a gt7 pic with alot of expensive cars and made a tweet about said expensive cars.
Unfortunely the game has economy problems so the tweet might come off as mockery and offends some players.
It's a harmless tweet and people are overreacting.

How is that possible? You made more than 1,5 Mil. / hour including the campaing? Did you drive any other car than the Tomahawk since you own GT7? :D

Remember you can get nearly half that from the Circuit Experience and missions, along with the normal single player progression bonuses up to that point. You can also get 2 million every 2 weeks from the time trial.

Now that you put it that way, it looks suss lol.
However i made a wad of cash in the bonanza.
I also spend a lot of time in the livery creator, and in drift lobbies, and those give you 0 credits.
edit
I have done a lot of races in the Tomahawk, and the Aston DP100 tho. But almost never more then 2 a day.

Second place worldwide Deep Forest Human Comedy mission.

The tune is at the end that I got from someone else but I'm in the process of making my own tune.
First though I will make a rant video about selling cars.

Speaking of low payouts, I certainly can't see this tweet going down well on Twitter of all places lol.

I never thought my picture would make waves like this 😅
It´s indeed the Top 20 most expensive cars in the game according to this thread (if I´ve made no mistake) and the recent prices:

My goal is to complete my garage with all cars and after buying everything I wanted to drive I went on with the legendary cars and just got the last of them some time ago.
To get all the credits I´m grinding with different methods since day one of the game. I´ve got all golds in circuit experiences and 5/5 gold times in online time trails and 100% completed the game. Still my PC had to do many hours with the Tomahawk Pan America Script and the ticket glitch. I´ve never bought any in game credits through micro transaction.
At the moment I own 373/439 cars, all missing ones are from Brand Central.
I´ve uploaded the original pic on my GT7 Profile. https://www.gran-turismo.com/at/gt7...9d-678785cea9c1/gallery/All/20970590595361184

Interesting, I certainly didn't expect them to have yoinked this from a players profile. I assume they do that a fair bit then.

In fact I posted the pic in the "Gran Turismo 7" Facebook group which is the biggest Gran Turismo group on Facebook with over 55000 people. Interesting it´s a closed group and PD shared the pic on all social media platforms without giving any source or credit.
I think this would be ok for everyone to share this without any source or credit but not for the official Gran Turismo account.

They probably covered this on some clause in the terms of agreement.
"Any pic or vid shared yada yada gran turismo watermark yada yada belongs to PD and Sony yada yada."

For sure this is legally right for them to do but I think it´s not good behavior.
Bingo. It'd be like buying a camera but really it's only a license and any picture you take can be used, source free, by the MFG. Maybe not that extreme lol, but I mean, you took the time and initiative to setup the photo and take it the least they could do is put your username or something. Just tacky

That's not a very good comparison, as any picture taken in GT7 can can obviously only showcase stuff that PD made and by proxy owns the rights to (in fact PD embeds the copyright info in any screenshot you take in the game unless you export it in-game). With a camera that doesn't apply.

However it's absolutely standard by basically any other developer, including other Sony studios, to at least tag or mention the user that took the picture. To not do it is pretty ******.

The subject of how much copyright you own is murky, but it becomes less and less yours the more you're not involved in the process of creating it.

Another site recently used an image I made in GT7 for an article here. Legally, there is no room for me to charge a licensing fee (or file a copyright claim for unauthorised use) for that image, as it's an image of game assets taken with a game function, whether I staged it and pressed the button to take the image or not.

However there is a requirement for either appropriate credit or permission to be asked for that image. The other site originally didn't do that, but later added the credit after I approached them over it; it was simply an oversight from the writer who I guess thought it was an official image. It was pretty good :D

Other sites have just straight up robbed photographs I've taken with my own camera equipment. I can think of various shots of GT7 game covers before there was a GT7 game (I made some fake ones, shoved them into BD cases, and took photos), one of my wife "playing" AC on a mobile phone, and various shots of my consoles as appearing on other websites. They're all legally my images and I really should charge the sites that stole them some money.

It's almost certainly the case that you agree to automatically grant permission to use any image you take using in-game functions in pretty much any game to the developer/publisher of that game.

I think we're all in agreement that GT7 has this covered in the terms and that while so, they should still recognize the OP. Especially if a professional marketing company

Without opening a new thread: There are 2 Super Formula Cars in the game. A Toyota and another one i cant remember. Is there any difference between them? I only want to buy one of them if there is no difference.

I haven't driven them since GT Sport, but I believe the power delivery were the differences. I mainly used the Toyota as that had slightly better handling. I think the Honda was a bit quicker at certain tracks.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyone notice that the race you do on Tokyo for the Japanese FR collection menu book now has damage enabled? I don't remember it being that way on release.

I recently had another bizarre GT7-related dream. I once again saw a vision of the great LFA, but accompanying it were about 10 colour variations of a mysterious Volkswagen concept car, all sold as separate vehicles.

What is the meaning of this?
