At least us plebs will be able to buy the Bulgari, it may serve as an update 😅 I won't even be surprised.Do you think we will have a new update with content in February or will it be in March?

That Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo rumour was true afterallFerrari 488 Challenge Evo '19 and Nissan GT-R GT500 Calsonic '19 coming to GT7?

I hope so.That Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo rumour was true afterall![]()
Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo is most likely a Gr.3 car since the GT3 car and this are close enough - unless PD decides to be one make car?I hope so.
The curiosity remains about its categorization. Gr.3, Gr.4 or N?
I couldn't identify the white car with racing decals. It looks to me like some Super GT car, maybe a Lexus GT 500. The red car is notably a Mustang roadster.
I counted every single event where you race against the A.I.. All special condition events, all regional halls, all leagues (beginner, professional, extreme), endurance hall, and the one-make events. How do you get that number of 143 in GT4 ?
Yup, it indeed does look that way. Holy cow.Ok I see ; by counting individual races you can see that the gap between GT4 and GT7 is even larger.
oh god! I am hyped! I hope we will get 488 GTE or GT3 tough. Challenge would be nice but it would not fit into group 3 in my opinion.Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo '19 and Nissan GT-R GT500 Calsonic '19 coming to GT7?

Honestly better than no 488 (there was a rumour about the GTE variant a while ago?) , even FM has the Challenge '17 not Evo as "GT" aswell the GTE but as i said above they are close enough just the Challange Evo is heavier but under Gr.3 BoP that is meaningless anywayoh god! I hope that is the case. Sound recording. But yeah… any 488 race car would be great.Honestly better than no 488 (there was a rumour about the GTE variant a while ago?) , even FM has the Challenge '17 not Evo as "GT" aswell the GTE but as i said above they are close enough just the Challange Evo is heavier but under Gr.3 BoP that is meaningless anyway
or it can be the 488 GTE variant but they recorded Challenge Evo sound instead? 🤔
GT4 is an anomaly in terms of being 400+, so I very much doubt we'll get that many again. From my count, GT4 is 543, the next highest is GT3 at 337....Will we ever get 140+ events/400+ races full of variety again? That is the real question here.
'Cause Kaz doesn't seem to want to do this type of massive career mode since GT5. =/
One of many reasons GT5 is at the very bottom of my list. In fact I nearly didn't buy it at all*...GT4 is an anomaly in terms of being 400+, so I very much doubt we'll get that many again. From my count, GT4 is 543, the next highest is GT3 at 337.
The entire rest of the series, barring GT1 and GT5* which are lower, are in the 200s-low 300s range. I have GT7 at 274, not including the limited time Special Event races.
*Not counting B-spec. GT5 A-spec is actually really barren when you go back and look at it, lots of events but a lot of those events only have 1 or 2 races in them.
So, I was researching about Challenge. The car is a street car with racing car elements, it even has two seats, like a track day car, in the style of a McLaren P1 GTR, Ford GT MKII, Pagani Zonda R, Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport, etc. 488 Challenge Evo lap times are generally four seconds above the GT3 cars and four seconds below the GT4 cars.Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo is most likely a Gr.3 car since the GT3 car and this are close enough - unless PD decides to be one make car?
that Au car is the Lexus RC F GT500 '16 - judging by the livery
it would most likely be BOP'd up to a Gr.3 standard so less weight and more power to make up the 4 secsSo, I was researching about Challenge. Therefore, it's likely to be a one make car.
This does not mean that PDI will not be able to create events emulating the Ferrari Challenge races in World Circuits and Sport Mode.
Or it was just used for sound recording for GTE or GT3 carit would most likely be BOP'd up to a Gr.3 standard so less weight and more power to make up the 4 secs
So much this! Just ridiculous...... and obviously too slow to payout for the value of the cars it wants (and logs, in two locations) you to get.
Apparently the GT-R GT500 is actually the 2016 car - different team, same car.Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo '19 and Nissan GT-R GT500 Calsonic '19 coming to GT7?
You have a point there, I guess new GTs don't need to be that long if they keep making things a slog or doing simple 1-race events with slow cars.GT4 on the other hand felt bloated (and GT5 carried, quite literally, some of that bloat and just ran with it) and at times disjointed.
From the couple of dozen races buried in the manufacturers (3,000cr for 3 laps of Tsukuba in a Subaru 360; where do I sign up!) to the ridiculous slogs like Formula GT (15 races averaging 70 minutes, 100k for a win and a 3m championship bonus...), there was a lot of not very good.
GT3 hit the sweet spot for me too, except that I think they professional mode events could've been shorter. I lose motivation to finish it everytime I get to that point. It's part of why I always felt GT3 was better. The game was the right size; enough to do everything once before the next one came out without running out or having to make it a second 8hr-a-day job.
Part of me actually liked it that way to be honest, winning a duel race against a road going Gr.B car. Only to now have to take care of a Gr.A Rally Car from the 90s or 2000s. Then beat a supercar on a same track.Special Conditions was always the biggest bloat offender for me in GT4.
The Tsukuba Wet races are interesting, but other than that, it's 20 copies of the same three 1v1 races against the same three car pools every time. It'd be completely over the top even if the rally physics in that game were good.
The only cheat I apply to GT4 was to disable the penalty counter from the Special Conditions events, before I figured out how to do that, I disliked them immensely. But with the penalty counter disabled, I really like a number of those events.Part of me actually liked it that way to be honest, winning a duel race against a road going Gr.B car. GT7 oddly enough does have multi-level races brought back, which is nice. But there's not enough types of them. Though with the lack of rally cars & courses; I guess repeating the special condition events wouldn't be doable right now.
The penalty admit-ably is one of the things I disliked about Special Condition and also is part of why I dreaded doing the Citti d' Aria races. So much as touching a wall and your car is held back for 5 seconds, on a track with thin & tight city streets. That's the thing of nightmares. The only cheat I apply to GT4 was to disable the penalty counter from the Special Conditions events, before I figured out how to dot that, I disliked them immensely. But with the penalty counter disabled, I really like a number of those events.
One thing that peeved me immediately about GT4 was how many events that didn't allow concept cars, in a game with a lot of concept cars. Also some of those concept cars couldn't be used in main-stage races period like the Toyota Motor Triathlon race car.GT4 had more events, and was great, but I felt there was a lot of content that didn't have much purpose, or felt disjointed. At times it was content for the sake of it. But I don't mind more events, in fact I'd love more events, they just should be well thought out and balanced to the economy and car list.
