Not posting anything for future updates but since this month's cat is already out of the bag:

Look like Fisherman’s Ranch… and we know how much everyone loves that circuit. Just had to be an “Audi” at that one. :sly:

Wasn't the CTR3 added in GT Sport back in 2019? I'm guessing it's a mislabel

RUF CTR3 was in GT Sport and there was a second generation Subaru BRZ road car in the first GT7 content update.

As a quick note on our previous update before we get to the new one - if you ever want to see how PD's material rendering has improved since the PS3 era, load up the Audi TTS we just got in GT6 and compare it to GT7. The difference in quality in the headlights and intricate areas like the front grille/radiator area is rather stark, it's quite impressive.

Wow, when it's all compiled into a list like that it seems we've done alright for new cars specifically. By my count that's 70 new cars since launch.

In contrast though, 4 new circuit locations does seem a bit low. That's a ratio of 17.5 cars for 1 new location. I think during GT Sport's life the largest amount of cars in an update was 13, and that had a new circuit location almost each month, so that was around a 13:1 cars to circuits ratio.

There's obviously multiple factors as to why the overall content roll-out has been reduced, but I won't get into that.
I just found these ratios interesting since they show, regardless of content output levels, how the balance has shifted slightly towards cars compared to Sport.
If the same content ratio from Sport carried over, we'd have 5 (5.4) new locations instead of 4 by now.

In short, for updates:
GT Sport: 13 cars = 1 circuit location (approx average)
GT7: 17.5 cars = 1 circuit location (so far)

does anybody know if PD had some sort of agreement with merc f1 team? or was lewis being sponsored by PD?
a lot of games have merc f1 agreement...maybe because PD don't have/didnt have, we lost f1 car in game?
is lewis still backed up by PD or is that only past walked by?
I know he is credited in trailer/intro gt7 etc...but they could agreed in development process for time being of gt7?

official 2024 hat , doesn't have logo of gran turismo anymore

JUST ASKING BECAUSE I DONT KNOW

As far as I know, the PD x Hamilton deal was a personal sponsorship/partnership - nothing to do with Mercedes.

A sponsorship deal doesn't mean that they'll be cross collab content in game. GT has been featured on plenty of sun strips of cars that compete in the Nurburgring Endurance events, but we haven't seen them or the events come to the series.

I think it's just a deal that wasn't renewed after it's initial term.

As for the Mercedes inclusion/omission, I guess it's another licensing deal that wasn't opted for again. In the same way that some licensed real world tracks that have appeared previously are (I won't say missing, but) absent from GT7 - like Silverstone - which I understand wanted an extraordinary licencing fee.

very good answer thank you

This is a screenshot of a leaderboard. More specifically, the leaderboard of the Gone with the Wind Mission Challenge with the Bugatti Veyron, where you are tasked with going as far as you can on a limited amount of fuel. The gold requirement is 8,888 meters and most players will probably struggle to even get to the 10,000 meter mark. So how do records like these make it on to the leaderboard?

Someone brought this up a while ago. I think it was driving into the pits and letting auto-drive take over, over and over and over?

I wonder how people can hate the Urus lol
It's an even more overpriced version of the already overpriced Audi Q8. It's literally the same car a different interior and different body panels. It doesn't do anything off-road, it's huge, it's ****ing ugly (personal opinion ofc, but imo even the Q8 looks miles better).

And why does Lamborghini have to make an SUV? Right, they don't. It's just a cheap money grab, made for rich footballers with zero taste.
