Do you want more detailed and realistic physics on the next GT

Ballast is probably mainly for fine-tuning your car's PP rating; if you need to adjust the over/understeer balance it's a lot more effective to change the rear ride height than add weight and slow the car down.
It won’t slow the car down significantly if you add 50kg to either full front or full rear but it can radically improve cars’ behavior, sometimes to the point where changing cars’ height/frequency can’t.

So it’s not just for that.

Looking forward to see impressions in this thread. @super_gt , Team VVV and Traxxion have spoken of promising improvements in the physics.

I am eagerly awaiting the unlock with my GT DD Pro and am anxious to hear what everyone else thinks about the latest dynamic model. The GT Planet review called it an iterative, familiar improvement, while others have claimed it is actually quite different in many ways.
@super_gt isn't the Super GT you are seeing on YT. That is @F4H Super GT. I just found that out myself recently.

In real life GT3 racing series, a 20kg ballast adjustment is considered a huge BoP change. Saying that adding 50kg won't slow the car significantly is just wrong.

Depends on the regulation. If we’re talking about BoP’ed race cars, then I agree, 50kg is a significant penalty.

If there’s a PP limit (which looks like will be more prominent in 7), then you can compensate with slightly more power.

And if we’re talking about just fooling around with friends, where you wanna have fun with your car that handles by your preferences, I think it’s an acceptable tradeof.

I hope more people speak about FWD cars behavior, as it looks like it here, more entry oversteer? (either induced by braking or lifting off)
I really hope so!

Edit : Again happened at 31:23 and driving assists didn't help that much it seems, same as irl where if you go over the ESP's limit of intervention there's no point of return

A couple other factors. Clios are known for a bit of oversteer. Plus, in racing conditions, the rear tyres will have less heat than the fronts. So, yes, there will be inherent oversteer. Plus, if PD added the inner wheel lifting characteristic, we’re in for a treat. Cool stuff.

How much effect it will have will depend on the initial weight of the car.

The lower that is the more 50kgs will affect it, the more it is the less it will affect it.

I saw this on Twitter... this guy "claims" he just steers with the stick left and right slowly.. and the car behaves this way.

Is this a bug? Or is he just spewing nonsense?

Have any streams you've seen users experienced this? 🤔

He claims he’s slowly turning left and right but the dot above the rev counter says otherwise… seems like he’s just kicking up a fuss for attention or his controller is broken

classic - excessive controller inputs with high controller sensitivity, promoted by more suspension travel in GT7

Many sims break down when speed gets close to zero. I dunno what he's getting at but I didn't buy the game to be sawing on the wheel at 18km/hr.

The dude definitely seems weird based on some of his other posts about GT7 (such as claiming GT7 corrupted his PS5 and external HDD)...

I read Jordan's review thoroughly, as well as many others, an issue this serious would have been picked up on for sure. Definitely looking for attention... as most of us still don't have the game yet...

Looks to me that he has high controller sensitivity. Also, it's either he's using d pad to steer the car or he's flicking the controller stick left and right. I see nothing broken about this, he just wants some attention just like most people on twitter. I truly hope PD will not listen to this type of people, because the physics so far look great.

Well, ACC has the benefit of being specifically targeted at simulating GT cars. Its GT3 and GT4 cars are probably a bit more realistic than iRacing, but it doesn't have anywhere near as much variety.
Yep, you speak to any IRL GT3 or GT4 racers who's got ACC or played it (eg: Adam Christodoulou) they'll tell you it's the best representation of those cars.
