First guess:I think someone should try to replicate the shot in GTS just to see it.
First guess:
GTS already had (basic) ray tracing and already looked spectacular, so GT7 'not being that much of an upgrade' isn't that bad and is expected. So, to launch early next year the graphics must be final then, I was expecting a bit more improvement besides ray tracing, it looks basically gt sport with ray tracing and longer lod.
There is more grass further up the hill, but I can't quite get the angle right to show the car, the silo, and the building all through it. That said, having gone through all the foliage, it does look like a newer environment.Huh. I can definitely see some reflection improvement, but notably the amount and detail of the dried grass on the ground...
Part of me think they’d show a tad more if there was something new. Just my cynical take.
What we see in GT Sport is pre-baked ray traced reflections and not not real time, so it is very basic.GTS already had (basic) ray tracing and already looked spectacular, so GT7 'not being that much of an upgrade' isn't that bad and is expected.

As a full title, no its wasn't.GT HD was never released, wasn´t it?
Ah I thought that car had metallic paint, I apologize.I believe the Corvette uses a matte yellow. If my knowledge is correct, matte paint does not have that same reflective property as gloss or metallic paint. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Here's an article I found of what I'm on about:

The mad thing is that the leaderboard server was still up and running when I checked in August.
In-game only, and they reset every night. However, on the day I last tried it three of us were posting times. Can you check those leaderboards only ingame or is there a website for it as well?
I wish I had this game but it's too expensive on ebay, I don't think it's worth paying 200€ for thatIn-game only, and they reset every night. However, on the day I last tried it three of us were posting times.
From the video, I posted above...

...you could even still download the ghosts.
There will be no gap as we have seen in PS2 to PS3 or PS3 to PS4 era.
The evolutions will be above all, technical like RT

You can't possibly know that is true for a fact. You shouldn't state it as if it is. You don't know what PD are planning.
I'm not sure my eyes could see improvements with the cars moving so quickly. GT Sport, for all its faults, looks very good imho. If they improve the frame rate and the number of cars in a race, for me that would be a better use of the power of the PS5 for me. If they can do it all, great. So, to launch early next year the graphics must be final then, I was expecting a bit more improvement besides ray tracing, it looks basically gt sport with ray tracing and longer lod.
Havent commented here for a while and iam not really playing GT anymore.
I would like to say why because this is kinda connected to the upcoming Gran Turismo.
After GT 6, so in GT Sport, the handling (steering) changed heavily. It got similar to Codemasters/Ubisoft games. What i mean by that is, the steering wheel doesnt exactly what the tyres are doing. You can easily feel and see that when counter steering for example. This is a huge issue.
I got GT Sport way after release and was so happy to finally play the next game in the series but i was so disappointed after a few seconds. I hoped that they will go back and fix this or to use "1:1 steering", what i mean by that is, if i push the stick to the right for like 10%, i want the steering to turn for 10% (doesnt have to be linear thats not my point) all the way up to 100% stick -> 100% steering. This is not the case in GT Sport.
But unfortunately, as i can see from the GT 7 Trailers, its still the same as in GT Sport.
Well, this gives us seven months to get cars done. PD can get one done in about six months. Combined with the outsourcing, I wonder how many are yet to be added.
How does it work to port a car, say, the 2020 GR Yaris, from GTS to GT7?
Oh yes you can. And you will.Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
I cannot wait.
