GTR challenge win with a clean race bonus and a 200k CR weekly challenge bonus made it a 300k+ race….!
Never. How long before we get to swap the LFA's engine into other cars?
Remember that this game is intended for gamers between 7 and 77Man, i am not sure what PDs fascination with these short races!?. 2 laps? 3 laps? Most of the races in this game arent even worth doing ..i use custom race most often as a result.
2-3 laps against Sophy just doesnt feel adequate enough. Disappointed with all these unnecessary limitations.
FM7 had long/very long race length options. I would have loved them if that game had meaningful tire/fuel wear going on, and didn't feel so awful on a wheel. Maybe some day...Never.
Lexus will not allow that to happen, And this would be against Kaz's religion.

Those are the edge of the range cannot last longer than 2 or 3 laps...
Just a thought...
There should be a possibility to choose the number of laps, and thus the pay out....
For each race, we should be allowed to change the parameters and variables to our liking.... That should be possible in some way... Maybe Spec 3 ?!?
Well, I wasn't excited about it before, but I am now. Sounds like a convertible and some snow is in the cards tonight, haha. After experiencing the new update I had to come here and say my peace, even if no one else agrees. I was that moved by it, mainly the new course.
At first when I heard we were getting a snow course, I was indifferent really. They did say they wanted more attention towards an off road course and snow is something different for GT7 so I was more cool than not cool with it for the sake of variety. When I first dove into Lake Louise however, in VR, first during the day and then during the night, I was blown away.
Polyphony killed it, they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The snow looks brilliant, as do the mountains and cabins off in the distance. It felt so festive and seasonal, and was so gorgeous to look at and drive around. However, it was when I raced this course at midnight that my mind was blown and this track was elevated to legendary status for me.
Sure, a classic course would have been nice, and we will likely get one, but Lake Louise was the course I never knew I wanted. The course at night with that sky full of stars is actually breathtaking. If you enjoy Christmas and the holiday season you will feel like a little kid just puzting around in a time trial taking in the sights. I can not overstate how beautiful this course is and how much of a gamechanger having a snow track is .
Like I said, this is just my opinion, but Polyphony did an incredible job and I need to congratulate them. It may not be your thing, but it might grow on you. This game alone is worth VR, but if you have been holding out I noticed it is on sale now and this course alone should push you over the edge.
Absolute masterpiece, just phenomenal. Huge shout out and thank you the team behind this game and course, Lake Louise is perfect!
Same, It's more enjoyable than dirt. Not sure why people are hating on the new track. I like the distinctive feel of driving on the snow VS the dirt. I feel like my wheels are catching and digging in nicely. Quite enjoying it! Especially at night - it looks fantastic under those purpley/blue lights.
No, but my Gr3 Mustang does that.Has anyone experienced the steering locking up when braking on the 992 GT3RS? I’m trying to figure out if it’s a bug with that particular car. I bought 2 of them (one stock, one modded) and they both behaved the same.
I wish PD would let us remove the Shopping Cart rear wing on the the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Hoping PD will add another latest 2023 Porsche model WITHOUT the Shopping Cart rear wing. IT'S FREAKING GIGANTIC!!

Regarding the intro video/movie,The first half was pretty much, if not exactly, the same as the old intro... montage of old footage.
The changes are in the gameplay half... with the new cars and the new circuits they've since added to the game.
GT movies just hit different for me.
Felt pretty much the same as the previous one in terms of length.
that's because PD prefers their homeland brands but i would like to see the newer GT500 most likely they will be in GT8Does Gran Turismo have some kind of deal with Nissan?
This is getting ridiculous, every update seems to have another Nissan, every model seems to have pretty much every generation covered, almost all of them are swappable.
Can we atleast get the new GT 500 and maybe one of these times through in a Fox Body 5.0, one of North America's most iconic models. I've been waiting to see a Fox Body since GT 1 and unfortunately am still waiting 20 something years later.
Your point is not without merit, but it's a weak argument when the Nissan they're adding this time around is one of the rarest and most desirable of all time.Does Gran Turismo have some kind of deal with Nissan?

How many events are in GT7 in total in that Event Directory menu? (no video of event list yet)The Event Directory should've been in the game from day 1, because it makes life SOOOO much easier. However, it also highlights the lack of events compared to previous games I also like the fact that you can change your car in the track menu, rather than in the garage or once you're on track. All the new cars are great but the one which surprised me the most was the Tesla Model 3. I thought I'd be a total dog but it actually handled quite well and provided a fun experience, even without the sound of a combustion engine. Most people will probably sleep on it though, which is a shame.
The only way I was able to join a Paddock last night was to join another continent! Literally!! I kept getting the same errors as you until I tried connecting to a server in Australia (I'm in California), and it connected right away.Simply no way to enter the “paddock” , always same “CE” error code, PD really should look to their netcode, and work on the specific online features as the lobbies (still with same known issues after more than a year) , the “renewal” of paddock, wich before was “meeting point” and mostly failed connections also in my case, and for last they really need to improve sport mode with better penalty system, and add series, more events, cause the mode has huge potential.
I use wired internet connection off 600mb optical fiber on ps5 , only racing game that gives me issues is GT, common PD, do something!

I’ve tried to connect to other regions, but no luck in my case, so thanks to you now I know that paddock isn’t worthy, just like meeting point like it was called before, I tought that it would been improved with the parking “chatbox” and freeplayThe only way I was able to join a Paddock last night was to join another continent! Frankly though I don't see much use in the Paddock. I kind of expected us to be able to walk around people's cars in a parking lot like a real meet-up, but instead it's a bunch of overhead cars with very little ability to change your viewpoint. You can also give emojis to others (I think?), but I couldn't get it to work. Overall I wasn't at all impressed.
And don't forget that the 400R was one of the icons of original GT. (And the reason they added this car is probably an homage to their origins)Your point is not without merit, but it's a weak argument when the Nissan they're adding this time around is one of the rarest and most desirable of all time.
I'm not just talking about this update though, I'm talking in general. Just go look at the engine swap "by car" list, the Nissan list is basically the length of all the other cars combined, it's crazy.Your point is not without merit, but it's a weak argument when the Nissan they're adding this time around is one of the rarest and most desirable of all time.
I imagine it's because it may have originally been intended to be an invite-only car, before PD decided not to do that with post-launch cars. Either that or because they wouldn't want anything costing upwards of a million in the UCD.I just noticed that, despite my expectations, the LFA isn't in the UCD rotation despite the model year for a dual-Brand Central/UCD car (2001-2010). Sure the Enzo and Carrera GT has excuse of being invite-only cars, but what's the excuse for the LFA?
I did lemans in group 1 with Sophy on the hardest setting (I used the Audi R18) and she was quite beatable. I think it was heavily rubber banding. In one race I was 10 seconds behind 1st on lap 2 and on lap 3 if I hadn’t made a little mistake could’ve easily won - came second by less than a secondI tested the SPECII yesterday, and the new licences, are quite hard, the first 2 in the 400m in the rain, and the F12 in Tokyo expressway...
After for the new track, I'm not a fan of off-road thing into Gran Turismo, it was always bad, but graphically it's a big wow!
About Sophy race, I don't really what is changed about the regular offline races, except of the emojis, and the fact that the Le Mans one is impossible with the Ferrari VGT.
