It's already been confirmed as the Honda RA272.Looks like open wheel car is this View attachment 1232103
Nope, look closer and you'll see chrome mirrors and bumpers, thus the 2.7 Carrera RS.What if that “Porsche” is actually the RUF CTR? I could’ve sworn the Yellowbird was in the datamined list, too.
I think it's the Honda RA272 based on the exhaust pipe.Looks like open wheel car is this View attachment 1232103
Slight typo (or 2) at the end of the article. It's February, though it still seems like January. This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.29 Will Be “Big”; Four Cars Confirmed Alongside PSVR2 Support
As we already knew, Gran Turismo 7’s v1.29 update will be arriving on February 21 and bring along PlayStation VR2 support for the title (on PS5). However GT series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has now confirmed that it will bring other content — as expected — and promises it will be a “big” update...
Man just keep you fingers from that keyboard away. One of them look VGT-esque, so this update really has 3 cars and not 4.
But the other 3 do look interesting, or at least 2 of them, the older looking F1 car (I was wishing it would be a Lotus 25 '63, the one Jim Clark drove, but that's not possible) and the Citroen DS. The 911 is probably one of the 70s, but it's not possible to tell apart which version, hopefully not a "variant" of an already existing generational 911.
The 959 apparently is too crap to be in this game.
That aside, it's confirmed it's going to be a "normal" update since cars are involved, and not just the PSVR2 thing. So I can expect some decent events to play this game for once other than testing top speeds of my more powerful tuned cars on the SSRX American Race daily to get the roulette of doom.
I won't hold my breath though. It's PD after all, too damn dumb and irrational to think of something like that. Hopefully one of them reads this.
Exciting new extra menus incoming!Decent car choice, but as always, where we can use them will play a big part in how useful they are.
I believe we already know for a fact that PD can and do directly see the data of what people are and aren't using in the game. They don't need to hide it behind a paywall. I also feel compelled to point out that if Kaz wants Gran Turismo to be about these kinds of cars, he's going to do it anyway. The Porsche & Honda F1 are great additions, though I'm at the point I would rather have paid content, there would be at least some influence over what content is created, that that doesn't sell would tell the developer what the consumer wants & doesn't want.
