Managed to get the silver time trial time using that new Japanese mini van thing on my second lap then called it a day. I just want an update with 20 new events, mostly endurance events for some much needed single player content. I've literally golded everything the game has to offer now and I'm bored.

I also find the picture way darker (to dark) when 120fps is turned on.
On the other hand it seems as the frame rate drops more often than before, if I keep my old setting’s - 120fps off and prioritise framerate rater than ray-tracing.

Check what your resolutions your tv support on the system settings. I think it also shows if hdr is supported for each test.

Saw one of these in real life. Really hard to imagine it can make 600bhp and you can slap a turbo onto the stock motor
Suddenly we are all seeing Toyota Alphards. I saw one yesterday. LOL

Since the update I've noticed the following things
1) 120hz made my 4k projector change to 1080p so I switch it off. However, I'm yet to test it on the PSVR2
2) The intermediate tires selection for Grinding at the 700pp Le Mans race (800k+ per win) will barely / no longer work as the intermediate tires wear much faster in the dry. yeah, this was sort of a 'cheat' to max up the horsepower on ordinary cars and whip all the Gr cars. I tried the Lambo Huracan and barely made it on each 2nd lap with one tyre left with minimum grip.
3) The Lambs Huracan seems to turn in better in corners than before the update.

This Alphard has tinted windscreen! Wow 1873c097ee615-3fa315B375F96579043.7F0DCD06C091CCF5_message_430166410264694_1680337540096.jpg

Yeah it says in the settings 120fps doesn’t run with 4k, not tested 2k yet

I really don't like this change to the WTC 800pp race at Sardegna before it was fun seeing different cars finishing 2nd but now its just that supra that always finishes second on top of that its on RS tires while the rest of the field its on RH.

The screen with a number on Audi DTM disappears during gameplay. I wish they gave all gt3 cars those screens and made them work because they look cool
Screen with a number? Are you talking about windscreen, because I still see the number on my RS5 DTM when driving it.

Could it be your TV that does something funky, I see no difference in light level between the modes.

In regards to VVR I'm to close to me tv to be able to ignore the resolution drop.
And it seems that the VVR mode isn't really used in 60fps mode so dropped frames are as ugly as ever.
I have a one Year Old lg Oled. Feel I tried all settings in the tv and it’s only in the gt7 game. When I am on the main ps5 menu there is nothing but in gt7 the picture is very dark in 120fps mode. Might have to crank up the brightness a lot.

I sold the Prius and Crown Athlete as I have no use for them...well now I must get them again...
Must? If you feel a roulette ticket and a highly unsatisfying cinematic about the cars is worth the hassle. There’s really no incentive to complete the Extra Menus unless you just happen to have the required cars.

So the update is great but I am having a little trouble with wet weather driving and the new tyre wear, I used to always just run inters on Le Mans to avoid the stress hassle of spin central if it's heavy rain midlap but after the update it's no longer possible to do more than 1 lap on the wrong tyres.

So does anyone have any tips on how I can still be fast in the rain and not spend an enternity crawling back to the pits?

The cars I normally use are the F1 '65, GTR-500 Penzoil and the Silvia K13 with engine swap Gr4.

Wet weather tips appreciated!
No tips, I gave up right now on Ke Mans WTC 700, hope there’s a hotfix coming out very soon, this can’t stay like it is right now imo

On the World Map, World Circuits has a red dot, implying there is still something I haven't looked at or someplace I haven't gone. What it is it?
Probably have to go to the Nurburgring and then tap into the arcade mode at the bottom with the little green badge, then tap into one of the new layouts. That got rid of it for me, at least.

I tried the update yesterday at the 'Ring WTC 800 event. I can barely drive the BRZ 300 and the Mazda Vision around. The cars have become so unpredictable, it just doesn;t turn in, and then there's a snap oversteer on the way out.

There's so much more input needed, but I'm playing with standard controls. It's a tough job now. I don't like it, but I guess I'll have to re-learn how to drive again.

This update has helped me appreciate the 959. For many years I never really cared about it but after driving it around Watkins Glen, my mind has been changed. It really does feel like a special car that used some of the best tech of the time. To me, it still looks modern because the design is clean and clinical; somewhat reminding me of a MacBook computer. Particularly in silver. What a great addition to the car list.
