Suddenly we are all seeing Toyota Alphards. I saw one yesterday. LOL

Since the update I've noticed the following things
1) 120hz made my 4k projector change to 1080p so I switch it off. However, I'm yet to test it on the PSVR2
2) The intermediate tires selection for Grinding at the 700pp Le Mans race (800k+ per win) will barely / no longer work as the intermediate tires wear much faster in the dry. yeah, this was sort of a 'cheat' to max up the horsepower on ordinary cars and whip all the Gr cars. I tried the Lambo Huracan and barely made it on each 2nd lap with one tyre left with minimum grip.
3) The Lambs Huracan seems to turn in better in corners than before the update.
Yeah, same notice here for Le Mans with the intermediate tires. I used to drive with my GT-R Nismo GR.3 with a single pit stop after the 3rd lap. Now I must change every 2 laps.

No tips, I gave up right now on Ke Mans WTC 700, hope there’s a hotfix coming out very soon, this can’t stay like it is right now imo
Hotfix something that works as it’s supposed to, so people can cheat their way through? Can’t stay like this? Lmao! 💩
Wouldn’t hold my breath and just do that grind as it’s supposed to be done or just quit it, if you can’t even win this race the normal way. Geez!

What is funnier this old IM tactic wasn’t faster for grinding or something because it is 30 minutes race not a lap race, and people are o so crazy about this xD

Making the race normally is just as easy as cheat way. If you can’t keep up then turn difficulty to easy ;)

Yes and having one or two pit stops more does not prevent winning, no matter if it takes 31:30 minutes instead of 30 ;)

Exactly. Like a no stop race makes it shorter than 30 minutes or the snail pace during rain makes it longer.

I’m probably too old to understand them and their complaints. 😂

I am not sure but I think sardegna still can be done without pitting. Race Hard tires last even longer in the 1.31 and detuned Mazda 787B has ridicoulus fuel economy so it can run full 15 laps.

I don’t change the RMs on the RS5 at Sardegna. The rears are worn, but its lightweight really helps the tyres last.

What IM tactic, where did I said I drive all with IM?
Where did I say it’s faster?
I mean not that you not just be able understand what I explained, you also make some stuff up, that’s very lame man.

what has it to do with cheating genius?

I'm quite shocked my thread has 0 replies. Does no one here think it's a good idea to be able to choose which ABS profile you have or did the thread fly under the radar? Is it just me who liked using the brakes mid corner to counter understeer?

With the physics changes in mind, can we still milk the Le Mans 700? That's the question😅😁
Yes, most of the cars can actually have power added to get back up to 700. The Ferrari Enzo can be turned down and it is a fast car. Some fuel mgmt is required. Setting 3 will do 3 laps, setting 6 will do 4. You need to tune the car up, but it is pretty basic stuff.

Loving the new physics. Before with the chicanes at Monza, you could just give it a boot full as you exited. I’ve noticed now, with the more powerful cars, you have to be a bit more cautious with exactly when you nail it or the car will bite you and the next thing you know you’ve spun. And that’s just one example. Great stuff

I tried the update yesterday at the 'Ring WTC 800 event. I can barely drive the BRZ 300 and the Mazda Vision around. The cars have become so unpredictable, it just doesn;t turn in, and then there's a snap oversteer on the way out.

There's so much more input needed, but I'm playing with standard controls. It's a tough job now. I don't like it, but I guess I'll have to re-learn how to drive again.
I don't know man, I did it in the SC430 and came out almost 40sec ahead after spending the last half of lap three in fuel trim 6 and short shifting to get to the end. The BRZ is, imo, even easier to drive than the SC.

It's best to do some practice and find the new balance with the car. Once you find appropriate entry speeds and stuff, then go give it another shot.

It also helps to be super familiar with the ring too, because passing on the Nordschleife is hard. Theres not much room at all. So I would recommend practicing on this layout specifically to get the win.

Here's a really crappy, unedited view of my WTC800 run.

Today's LeMan race without rain, I notice that my M3GT 11, after entering the pit to change tires and refuel on flat sections, reaches up to 10 km/h more than before entering the pit, of course it went out on racing hard like the first stint and same fuel map.

I really hope they will fix the chase camera positions...

Some cars are blocking the view when using the "near" settings, and some views don't even get near, just angle down.

For example, the Abarth is blocking the view, but the standard 500 is more playable.

And this is one of the cars that only change the angle of the camera.

sigh
Who thought this camera placement is good?
Paradoxically, the "near" cam blocks less view than the "far" cam.

Okay, quick idea: After dabbling with the new Audi and its DRS wing, how about making that an option for custom wings. Because I think my R32 could greatly benefit from having DRS, and I'm willing to sacrifice a PP or two to make this happen.

Not my PP though, but I'm happy to cut off someone else's... For the glory of my Calsonic R32.

I haven't played in over a week weeks and I'm sure this has been mentioned, but FFB with my Fanatec DD Pro is much better. Not as strong as it was at launch, but much more livelier, I just drifted a Lan Evo V and the steering response was perfect. I was starting to think they were never going to address the dead wheels.

I'm hoping if the new GT500 cars come the Gr2 races disable the DRS function on the Audi.

Been pretty busy the past few days and only have had time to do a few laps in the Audi, which seems great. Is the DRS always operated automatically by the game/car, or can you control it manually via a button?

You gotta map the button and hold it.

Probably have to go to the Nurburgring and then tap into the arcade mode at the bottom with the little green badge, then tap into one of the new layouts. That got rid of it for me, at least.
Yup, that did it. I had checked out the new layouts and thought that would take care of it. Noticed the green things and clicked on a couple of those, but it didn't change. I guess it had to be the green badge specifically on each new layout. Thanks.

My latest favourite was CLK LM. Cost me 6.5M 😅 but could easily do 7 laps with fuel management of 3-4 , no pit stop, handles heavenly. Haven't had time to play since the update.

I've tested several cars on Le Mans since 1.31 and it seems that the IM tyres can't do more than 2 laps (less than 28 kms....) no matter the car you drive.
