With DTM RS5 this is one of the best updates. Incredible news <3
There is also high chance of group 2 events then <3
Let’s hope they give us the BMW and the Aston as well. 🤞

Same mixed feeling here. We waited so long for Ferrari and Porsche, and now I feel like they kind of bloat the game (or cannibalise the others). However, some of the iconic cars of these two brands are still absent...The 959 has been long overdue in my opinion, so that’s really great. Neither can I complain about the 904, but can we now please take a Porsche break for the next few updates or so? I know there was a dreadful time when EA was exclusively sitting on Porsche licensing rights in racing games, but I feel like PD has a developed a slight Porsche bias lately. Not the worst bias one could have though.

Whatever, it looks like a qualitative update nonetheless.
Just woke up.@hyperspeed980 Permission to launch the ron paul.
A stupid mini van not 2 mention 2 more asian cars what a surprise GT7 sucks it really sucks I can't wait to switch to computer so I can get some real cars that people want to drive. ENOUGH MAZDAS, TOYOTAS, NISSANS ALREADY. GIVE US SOME MODERN CHALLENGERS SOME CLASSIC AMERICAN CARRS. ASIAN CARS MAKE UP 79 PERCENT OF THE GAME. TAKE A LEASON FROM FORZA THEY KNOW HOW TO PUT TOGETHER A CAR LISTThis is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Gran Turismo 7’s Next Update is Coming Soon, Adds Five New Cars
The next update for Gran Turismo 7 will arrive during the week commencing March 27, as confirmed by series creator Kazunori Yamauchi in his usual social media teaser...
Gr.2 isn't the GTR cup, it's very track dependant. Handling focused tracks are NSX cups, power tracks are CLK cups, and the GTR slots somewhere in the middle. With the Audi being most-likely Gr.2, I wonder if they will also bring some BoP changes to Gr.2 to get rid of the GT-R cup.
Is PD not allowed to add non-American tracks?Really interested in the dtm car and where those will play out, hopefully in race b
Maybe a new track too? Road America pls
Not a complaint, but dang, the Mazda3 is AWD.
Does this mean it's turbo also? They didn't offer that trim level in the US, not sure what it means. So if the Mazda3 is the Burgundy Selection, I believe that means it has the red interior finish, which looks fantastic.

I'd like a street track like Singapore in F1. Or if it must be a true circuit, Donington or Hockenheim. Is PD not allowed to add non-American tracks?
Well, Kaz did say recently that PD can put 60 new vehicles per year, so I believe 5 car packs (occasionally 4) will become a trend this year.I'm guessing that since they are done with VR implementation, now they can add in more cars per update. At least I hope so.
No man we need some more porsches, the new 911 or the 911 GT1 Le Mans 1998 winnerThe 959 has been long overdue in my opinion, so that’s really great. Mazda 3 could be nice if that’s the one, but I would have preferred some of the missing classics first (Cosmo, NB Roadster and Efini RX-7).
Personally I could not care less about the Toyota van, and I don’t know what to expect from the the racing car, as it’s too vague for me to pin down.
It shouldn’t be over 2 million Cr. I would say.Ι hope for 959 not to be sky high expensive!!!! Same for 904!!!!
I also find a bit too much in general regarding Porsche, on the other side I’m overly happy that they finally add the 959!! And if they stop, than do it but after they added the 928 GTS, 914 and the Ur-911, than I don’t miss anything on the Porsche side!😅The 959 has been long overdue in my opinion, so that’s really great. Being very generous with the definition of "Asian" (and "Cars"), Asian cars make up 36.38% of the game before this update, and will make up 36.42% of the game after this update. Edit: Let's be more generous: 36.82% before, 36.85% after.ASIAN CARS MAKE UP 79 PERCENT OF THE GAME
Calm down, man! We still have Indianapolis, Road America, Sebring, Sonoma, Barber, Long Beach and COTA, plus Seattle and others fictional ones to add.Is PD not allowed to add non-American tracks?

Considering PD/Sony is a Japanese (read, Asian) company, it's a bit like complaining the Forza series is too American-focused. I'd expect nothing less from a European/British developer/publisher with "over-representation" of models from the east side of the Atlantic.Aside from the very wonky post (which I've fixed), bizarre shouting, double-counting, and... other issues with it...

I guess 84.5% of all statistics used in arguments on the internet really are made up on the spot, just as Julius Caesar said at the opening of the EPCOT Center.
