I found a new Toyko Reverse layout.

Building street cars into racecars > driving basic racecars for me. Being able to build and tune cars is what makes GT stand out from most sim racers for me.
I've had great success building Gr4 cars out of street cars. I have dabbled with a couple Gr3 builds with less success. I also created a 10 car Miata field that was a fun custom race. Now I'm working on a 60's era rallycross field with VW Beetles, Mini's, and a couple other 60's cars like the Renault Gordini and Abarth's. Should be a fun race.

Now that the 918 is confirmed, it looks like someone finally figured out how to make it cooperate with a wheel hub dyno…

I hope that they finally fix the DualSense bug where the haptic feedback is suddenly gone. I mostly drive with my G29 but it sucks when sometimes the haptic feedback is there (and gorgeous) and sometimes it's disabled for no reason though in the menu it's enabled.

Also I've a strange issue with my G29 pedal since the last update. Don't know if it's broken or an issue with the game. When I press the throttle to 100% the game bounces between 70% and 100%. After some seconds it's at 100%. Hope it's not my pedal which is the issue...

I don't understand the complaints about the VGT cars. I don't like many of them but I do not see a problem with them being in the game. You have the choice to use them or not. Being in the game does not affect the gameplay.
In regards to affecting gameplay, respectfully, you are incorrect. The cars used as filler for the Gr1 races for example, severely impact the gameplay. They are too fast and perform ludicrously. They are not nearly realistic for what is supposed to be a simulator, ergo driving a prototype seems like you're racing against an F1 car. I won't race the Gr1 races because of this so you are incorrect when you say they don't affect gameplay.

I have no problem with the stand alone VGT races and I like the creativity of some them but mixing them with real life cars is for me not satisfactory.

They will still show up in your races and look ridiculous and out of place 🤷‍♂️
Ahm that’s very subjective I would say

That’s the spirit👍😀

[stupid rant] You know what really grinds my gears?

When Polyphony Digital makes such ******** as putting the Weissach Pack wheels on the standard 918 Spyder. Put the correct wheels, damnit!

Yeah I really wanted those wheels. The Weissach wheels are fairly easy to replicate, if not exact. These not so.

The weissach wheels are optional on a regular 918 Spyder, the one PD put in the game just happened to have them.

They're not even the weissach wheels, they're just a magnesium wheel option on the car, they can come with the weissach package amongst other things, but it can all be optioned around as Porsches do.

Here's a 918 Spyder with the weissach package and the default 918 Spyder wheels

Of course it's your pedal

No idea why you're talking about it in this thread. Also @FerrariF40 mentioned something about FFB in this thread... Is there a known glitch? Mine works fine

They did the same with the CLK LM which has the 1997 CLK GTR rims or the intermediate/rain tyres of 1998 which were the same as the 1997.

As with the Porsche, it just happened to be on the car they scanned. In the Merc's case it never even raced with these rims.

Wouldn't "Group 5" be one of the car's official surnames?

I believe that if PD were to create the Group 5 they would have named the car in parentheses, like (Gr. 5), or something similar.
