Only the Tomahawk S.

You are restricted to road/street cars only, so the Tomahawk GTS-R and X can't be used there.

Would still be interesting though. With CRB it's 172.500 in about 9 minutes maybe (3 minutes per lap)? The Tomahawk S is still decently fast.
I'm assuming you're talking about the Le Mans race.

Still gets stomped by the other 4 races.
It may get stomped, but its another option for a change of pace.

Does a variable rear wing exist already in the game? Or are you suggesting they add a new feature?
The lowed down ring mode is already offered as a customization part in gt auto, you can purchase and installed it, but neither the original “up one” or the optional “down” one functions as the automatic wing of the real car does.

Not sure why the 918 got a problem with the automatic rear wing. I don't see problems with other automatic rear wing cars in this game.
What i have seen , some of the 918 do have "stuck" rear wings too but did you try changing it to the "no rear wing" one and see if it works automatic?

Well, I wish you the best of luck in getting people to sign a petition that no one at PD will ever see, and even if they did see it, the entire game is built upon the online-only system to such an extent that it literally won't function without the Internet. Which, you know, isn't exactly easy to fix in a patch.
Or maybe YES, because it was said that unlike Sport, this would be something more focused on the classic Gran Turismo, that is, THEY ARE NOT 100% ONLINE, also there will come a day when the servers will close, and when that happens It doesn't matter if you have Internet or not, IT WILL BE UNSERVABLE

To play the devil’s advocate here: it doesn’t specify what you’re selling. Perhaps you’re selling your soul to my client?
Bwaaaahaaaa!!!! That's GOLD!!

The new Kyoto race in the Vulcan is bliss. 1 million credits per hour. No rain. Easy CRB. I will be grinding this race a lot.

Oooo. Oooo. By sheer coincidence I just purchased the Vulcan.... Must give this race a try :-)

Loved the 918 so much I bought 3 of them.

Car seems to have a bit too much oversteer for a AWD (it's not a fully fledged AWD), but then again it's also a MR, and we all know how these handle in this game, but it's hella fun to drive, and the sound of the car is as close to real life as it possibly can be, both onboard and outside/chase cam sounds. One of Gran Turismo 7's great things, the car looks, details, it's just a step above the others.

I’ve just put 500 miles on the 918 just took it around Nurburgring with weissach package equipped and sports soft tires to match the irl 918 nurb record car. I tried my hardest to match the 6:57 lap time. I made some silly mistakes and sometime hit the brakes to early but I pretty much matched it with a 6:58. I’ll share the clip in abit.

What did you do to know that you got "different" than expected prizes?
There's a method where you can reopen the ticket. As people have said, the none winning prizes change but your prize won't. However the prize does change once there's an update. I've 100% seen it happen. I haven't done extensive research into the exact percentage of tickets the prizes do change for. I hope that helps?

I just took my untouched Pagani Huayra around Trial Mountain for my first HyperCar stamp.

Very, very entertaining! Sports Softs (711pp) do the trick. Will consider Sports Hards in future attempts.

What's everyone else using?

My attempt at matching the 918 lap record. I’m on controller so it’s filled with mistakes 😂 sports softs, weissach package and changed transmission due to stock transmission having awful gearing and had you in 4th gear at 200mph 😂 man I wish I could afford a wheel and stand for it. Video is still processing higher quality

Just an observation which I could have also posted after the previous patch...

You still can't see your historical sector times on the delta in garage cars.

Why not?:(

A hypercar event that they just had to put the Vulcan and Veneno in... And omit the LaFerrari entirely. Typical PD fashion.

I tried the Trial Mountain race with a bone stock 918, cause I really don't enjoy tuning super/hypercars, and it just wasn't fast enough in my first attempt to come within 10 seconds or so. Wasn't that clean of a performance but I don't think it was in the car on its default SM tires. Tried it again with the LaF and was on my way to catching the lead Vulcan... until it upped its new pace out of its ass from lap 4 or so and became uncatchable, about 10+ seconds ahead. sigh Ok fine then, make me use the FXX K to win a damn "hypercar" race. Caught the Vulcan (before it was in the lead) and all other cars in about 1 lap and won by like 30-40 seconds IIRC.

This is what I cannot stand about PD. It's supposed to be an event for certain cars but they throw one (or two) cars in there that really don't belong so that it becomes nearly impossible (or just really annoying) to beat using the ideal cars the event was designed for, and/or that it spoils the event entirely by trivializing all the other cars that actually belong there. The Vulcan is NOT a hypercar. It is a track-focused car that should have its own racing series along with the FXX K, Zonda R, P1 GTR, Veneno, maybe the RX-Vision Concept, 911 GT1 Strassenversion, etc.

You could maybe begin to make a case for the Veneno being a hypercar since I believe it's an Aventador on steroids and IIRC does come fitted with sports tires by default (and is probably the clear slowest of these special track cars), but the Vulcan -- PD are just having a piss. I just cannot stand that I have to choose a car that will absolutely blast past everything else, or struggle to get past dangerously slow mobile chicanes in braking zones and apexes, just to catch the rabbit with an insanely unfair advantage way ahead in first. It feels like nearly every race in Gran Turismo works this way and I'm so sick of it.

"What are we doing, racing or ping pong?"

I also know there's a method, it was more a question in the way for you to tell me how you did it to know that.

The way to see the prize the ticket has is to open it, see prize, and before pressing the ok button to continue, you just shut off the Game app and the ticket will still stay there (and you don't win the prize but know what it is). Then when the update appears, you reopen the ticket to see if the prize is the same.

I think your take is pretty accurate. In the first few games the prize cars were worth really good money so selling was essential to maximize grinding. But since the introduction of zero $ value for gift cars ( GT5 or 6? I can't remember ) selling them became irrelevant.

So to have selling as a feature to thin out your collection, sell a car you didn't like or want is ok. But because they will sell for a heavily reduced value the sale really won't affect your bottom line.

Bringing back the feature to gift cars might actually be a more favorable addition. I can't remember which GT it was, but I was able to trade cars with other players and get back lots of cool cars. It was way more valuable to me than selling.

That, but maybe they need such a long time because they wanna do this differently than before, because of the economy they implemented in GT7 with Hagerty and an orientation more on real world values (even when they don’t do it on every car). I mean selling a high value car from Hagertys like the McLaren F1, that has a price taken from real world and only rises in value right now in the real world and in-game, but giving you just 25% of the price you bought it for, would take all this seriousness they build up with this economy, out of it (at least for me).
If you wanna give me the feeling that it’s needed to earn so much money for a car like this because it’s so valuable, you can’t give me just 25% (for example) for it when I wanna sell it.
It’s just a theory, but maybe that’s a hy it takes so long, because they still haven’t figured out to implement all of this.
But sure this would then also raise the question why they even advertised it before release, if they still haven’t figured it out yet..

It could be cool btw if cars you own like maybe even rise in value, so you’ll sell them with a profit.

I kept hold of the ticket pre update, checked the ticket prize. Reopened the same ticket after the update and the prize had changed. That's it, I hope that makes sense?
