Gran Turismo 7's Next Update Arrives April 25

Wonder if we'll actually get any events that make use of this completely new and unique Spa layout or if it'll be in limbo hell like old Le Mans.

The cake was a lie.

I already see metacritic going down and PD giving us 1.000.000 free credits to say sorry for the announced "new layout".

A month ago they promised Track LayoutS by the end of this month, We got onbe track layout. I was looking forward to getting more than just one track layout.

But I'm hoping they give us the old Deep Forest layout because I don't like the new version. I am hoping over time they give us all the fantasy tracks that were in the older GT Games. Like Midfield raceway (Without changing its layout or give us the old layout with a changed one if they insist in changing it) and the special Stage route tracks.

They never said it would be a new track. It stated the update at the end of April would be a new layout.

I think the biggest hit to the economy will be a bug fix that removes the easy clean win bonus for sardegna, tokyo and sarthe... Im glad Ive mitigated the economy with the Tomahawk, its gonna be tighter than a ducks butt again...

"Beyond this there will be a few additional Updates deployed between now and the end of April which will add new cars and course layouts"

They said Layouts. Layouts is more than one layout

"New cars" = you get a carbon copy of a car that's already in the game with a different badge

"New track layouts" = you get a carbon copy of a track in the game with a different pit entrance

PD is sticking to a theme it seems.

Does anyone knows if PP where different in Arcade Mode than regular game before ?
Because if i compare values from kudosprime and the Swift Sport, i have differences (386.73 -> 397.30)

Accessing my garage doesn't show difference pre vs post patch. So values in Arcade Mode could just be different.
So, no indication of PP recalculation so far.

From memory, they didn’t announce new events in GT Sport so just be patient and wait for the full patch notes before assuming no new events!

At the point I had sent this, it was 2 minutes after being DCed for maintenance and it matched exactly what my PS4 said at 0800-1000 utc/1800-2000 AEST. Either PS4 maintenance started at a different time or it started at different times for different regions

Why does this happen every update!! People really need to read the announcements properly to see how long the servers will be offline!!

Thx for reply. I hope there will be new events. I'm a little crazy, cos I'm waiting GR2-1 events for 1.5 month. And custom races haven't good balance for me. I tried Fuji for gr2 (custom race), and it wasn't interesting.
