I think many people forget that every car has been build from the ground up since gt sport and to expect 1000 cars is not realistic, and lets not forget that many of cars of gt5 and gt6 was standard cars with ps2 graphics, Suzuki escudo was one of those, around 700 of 1200 cars was standard cars in gt6, they are going with quality over quanity,
The thing is they don't need to since all the premium cars in GT5 and 6 were claimed by Kaz as "next gen quality". They could have just use those models again, touch them up a bit and put it in GT7.

I think too, No pikes peak, and by the way PD : your roulette dayli marathon is a true JOKE!!!! :banghead:the ratio is 99% to win the lowest price, 2000 credits!!!! Come on PD, change that. THank you....

In my latest pulls i never got less than 10k in any of my 14 saved roulettes, but 10/14 was the lowest price,

To me, that's not acceptable.
It doesn't matter if you accept it or not. That is the direction of the industry, towards "always on" games, and barring some sort of major pushback from the customer or an internet apocalypse, nothing is going to deviate that course.

I just didn't bought anything from these (every car that have already released) i prefer to buy something from UCD or Legendary car dealership.... Am i wrong?

I think chances are that we get the actual pikes peak itself,
i was reading info about pike peak and noticed that it is held on the last sunday of jun?, that is kind of hopefull maby?
If they going to release it, this is the time
otherwise that Escudo has no purpose at all, but then again........, there are alot of cars that have no purpose.......
we can only wait, i think it would be nice to have the car and track.... with alot of other stuff :lol:

I mean, I’d argue there’s a pretty big shortage of up-to-date cars in both road (economy and sports/exotic) and the main racing categories. Big offenders being Ferrari and BMW, which are about to be 2 iterations old, with the 458’s successor about to be replaced by the 296, and the M4 being the current GT platform IRL, which succeeded the M8, which succeeded the M6 we’re still currently operating with. These would seem like they’d still be important with GT7 still carrying on Sport’s esports and competitive modes, which make majority use of the main racing categories.

Ignoring pure fantasy entries:

Aston Martin: Gr. 3 is 10+ years old, and has been succeeded.
Audi: Gr. 3 up to date, but there’s a GT4 R8 in it’s 3rd year of racing now.
BMW: As mentioned, 2 iterations behind, but also the M4 Gr. 4 car is based on a fairly old platform.
Chevy: C8 Corvette is now in it’s 3rd year of racing.
Dodge: “Up to date”, however they haven’t been making new GT race cars.
Ford: Sport launched over a year and a half after the new GTLM started racing, and left us with a fantasy Mustang - and then introduced the 2005 GT after the modern car stopped racing, which only got added with the launch of 7. So “up to date”, but very late to be so and no longer accurate.
Honda: Up to date.
Lamborghini: The Huracan is about to receive it’s 2nd update over the iteration we have.
Lexus: Up to date.
Mclaren: They now operate with the 720 in GT3, and 570 in GT4, and have so for at least four years. We still have only the 650 in both.
Mercedes: GR. 3 fairly up to date, but we’re still running the SLS in Gr. 4.
Nissan: The GTR GT3 is nearly 10 years old, and was raced to at least 2018, and no Z platform was ever represented.
Porsche: Gr. 3 is a generation old.
Renault/Alpine: An A110 GT4 has been around for 4 years, and it’s not like PD hasn’t already added more fictional race cars to expand the manufactures cup (Genesis and Suzuki).
Subaru: BRZ GT300 actually makes this up to date.
Toyota: A lot of asterisks here, with the GR. 4 being a fictional creation when an actual GT4 existed, and the GR. 3 being a concept. There’s still Supra variants running in Super GT, but with seemingly a lot of new real world GT cars coming up from the brand I feel like I can give this one a pass.
And you only mentioned Gr.3/GT3 cars. The list is quite a lot bigger once we include everything and from many years, instead of just "up to date".

I personally don't think economy cars should be in the game more than they already are. It takes too much time to model a car, to waste on a car that will be used by a very small niche of people. Instead they should just model their sportier versions (this goes for hot hatchbacks, sporty SUVs, and so on).

As for the GT3 cars, it's always difficult to be "up to date", as those cars get updated/replaced very frequently. Whatever is up to date now, won't be in 1 or 2 years time, so there's really no rush to get every single one of them, other than the glaring omissions (Aston Martin, Ferrari, Bentley, Corvette). I'd rather see them model GT3 cars for their uniqueness compared to their predecessor, rather than just another "Evo" variant of an existing one. I'd rather see the Murcielago GT1 over an Huracan GT3 EVO II for example. Then there are the brands that have no car in the class, like Maserati could use the GranTurismo MC GT3 (or even the MC12 GT1) way before BMW needs their brand new GT3 (BMW has 4 cars in Gr.3). The same goes for Cadillac, with their ATS-V.R.

And once you jump out of the realm of GT3 and race cars in general, to road cars, oh boy the list is huge, from modern cars of various types, to cars from every other decade.

At this point, they don't "need" to, but they do need to up their content releases, as their main competitor has a bigger car list, and it's still dishing out more cars. One would hope that with outsourcing being seemingly a thing now for PD, that they would equal, if not surpass, the rate of cars they woud be adding via update, compared to GT Sport.

So one more fantasy VGT and no Pikes-Peak track? :boggled:
We don't know anything about whether there are any tracks, or what they are, or not.

Nothing but the three cars has been teased, and that's pretty standard - the last time I remember a track that was coming even being hinted at in a GT game was a close up of the track map at the St. Mary's corner at Goodwood, and we've had plenty of tracks since that.

Other than "three cars" (the identities of which have not been officially revealed) we cannot say what is or is not in this update.

Kaz posted Silhouettes on Sunday the last two months and it came that week.

Any news if there will come an option for a completely fresh careerstart without having to create a new PSN Account anytime in the Future? Its frustrating. I dont want any more new accounts. I already have 3.

Rather than saying this isn't a numbered game, it seems more like this is what we should expect from numbered games in this series. It's been over 8 years since the previous numbered game. Why should we expect a return to that many more years from now, if/when GT8 releases? GT7 was the promised return and it didn't deliver.

This is the standard they have set.
Ominous, but I think you're absolutely bang on the money, sadly.

And one of the images of the Suzuki VGT last month that came out with the update, showed the Suzuki on Pikes Peak I read

Some of the cars in Sport were old when it released. Like you mentioned, some GT3s are way out of date. Some is just appearance, AMG GT3 comes to mind. Gr1/lmp1 is one that could use a refresh. Gr4 not so much, except the joke of the Supra. Race car interior please.

Really hoping for new lobby settings but I’m not holding my breath. It seems like cross gen is screwing up the development of this game.
Pretty sure this is off-topic.... Nevertheless, how is cross-gen screwing up the lobby settings? You imply that the ps5 can't handle the lobby functionality that existed in GTS?

Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Versionen! OMFG, this car is going to be an effing MONSTA!!!! So glad it's back yet again after a 25 year hiatus. Kaz The Conquerer Yamauchi, you da man 🤜😎😁💪😀😃😄
The car appeared in Gran Turismo 6 as a standard car.

I will find good use of escudo pikes peak even on normal tracks, i will take for spin on nurburgring for sure and maybe trial mountain for good memories, the game needs a lot of cars, but it dosen’t just have to be 2020 and up, i actully prefer cars from 2020 and before, i hope most are road cars as they are so many i want to be added, i don’t care for race cars other than classic ones like Toyota gtone, Nissan r390 or the othef group c machines we don’t have yet, and i agree with some that said that the gr,4 gr,3 and gr,2 gr,1 is bad in some way to have it classes like that it just mean we can’t race as we use to do in old gran turismos, and the cars feelt more special when they was not in group, the best thing gt7 did was to get rid of gr,x it was trash in my opinion, and pp system Is way better than the n classes was in gt sport so glad its gone as well, i hope escudo just has pp rating and not a car class just like the alpine race car we got new for gt7, i doubt we can upgrade it but either way its going to be beast😍👍
