Can you please show me where you got this information from? I'm really curious. Thanks.Btw just FYI, the dataminers suggest that: Red Rock Valley, Grand Valley and Road Atlanta exist as files for this game. Watkins Glen was one of the tracks too in the files.
It's weird that Apricot Hill wasn't in the datamines when it's the track they've teased the most in the leadup to the game. I guess it can also be a sign that not every upcoming track in the near future has been datamined yet.Yeah that and Indy, as well as a few OG tracks like Grand Valley and Apricot Hill being added back into the game would be nice.

All cars that have been added so far exist in a list of 80, also data collected by dataminers. I think HSG Automotive on Youtube has talked about this.
Looks like Dataminers have done a good job so far 🤔
The thing is they don't need to since all the premium cars in GT5 and 6 were claimed by Kaz as "next gen quality". They could have just use those models again, touch them up a bit and put it in GT7.
I should've also mentioned the escudo. You've got one of the most famous pikes peak car ever with the suzuki escudo coming tomorrow, right in time for the 100th running of pikes peak this weekend, gran turismo is the sponsor of the event, gran turismo has had the exclusive rights to the hill climb for 5 years and has done nothing with it. I mean, can the stars get anymore aligned?it was also a perfect moment for a N24 event at Nordschleife few weeks back (or at least Nordschleife as a Daily). That was a 50 anniversary (i was SO much in the mood to play GT stuff there that weekend) and GT sponsors it all the way as well.Or something special for 24h Le Mans last week.Nothing.Kaz is stubborn af so i‘m not surprised at all about no PP.
It could also be just that those teases were not teases after all, and they just decided to use those track lines....because. Wouldn't be the first time. They showed Seattle in a promo video years ago, never came to anything. It's weird that Apricot Hill wasn't in the datamines when it's the track they've teased the most in the leadup to the game. That'd be weird, considering Deep Forest was teased with the lines before they revealed it.It could also be just that those teases were not teases after all, and they just decided to use those track lines....because. Sure, but...PD. They move in very mysterious ways. See: Pikes Peak not being included this week despite everything lining up.That'd be weird, considering Deep Forest was teased with the lines before they revealed it.
Whilst it doesn't happen in real life for safety reasons you could conceivably run proper races up and down PP. It's wide enough, just not safe. But that doesn't apply in a game.I definitely prefer WG over PP. I like to have tracks that can be used in a competitive way with other cars on the road (awful AI or daily races) rather than driving alone vs clock (i like that in rally games of course).
To be fair it looks like they put about an hour of effort into this one over the original road version.Thankful for the track and the two real cars, disappointed to see PD continue to waste time and money making another VGT car. If I wanted to race imaginary futuristic vehicles I'd play Wipeout or F-Zero.
The layout reminds me of the Main Star Trek ship but upside down. Am I the only one....?Watkins Glen gets a big thumbs up from me, it's my favourite US track, I just wish they had included the non-inner loop layouts as well.
Watkins Glen
Watkins Glen is the spiritual home of road racing in the USA, with crowds flocking to see top-level racing since the 1940s.www.racingcircuits.info
The three cars, well one is another addition to the Gr.3 roster based on a car we got last update and the other two are basically useless. What is the point of adding cars and tracks and then not bothering to theme the new Cafe Menu's around them?
Is Tokyo R246 an actual real race track?
Wow!!!
Watkins Glen? Really? Now that's a very pleasant surprise. This should mean we are getting some events for that circuit and of course, circuit Experience right!?
If alongside this and the iconic Escudo, the update gives us the ability to sell cars. Then I can finally say we had a good update.
If we still can't sell cars, then it's just another meh or disappointing update (also depends on what the new menus will offer).
Yes,i was thinking about that and someone else (or you?) mentioned it in this thread already but then PDs lack of imagination popped up in my head i closed the case 💩Whilst it doesn't happen in real life for safety reasons you could conceivably run proper races up and down PP. Rest In Peace Pikes....Thoughts and Prayers for those Pikes Peak hopes.
