Thoughts and Prayers for those Pikes Peak hopes.
Had huge potential.Well I hope this clears some air over the huge negativity around GT7. A free, completely new (and really cool) track is not a joke and is very welcomed. I think they will sort it all out with all the lobby problems and contents because this game and team have an huge potential
I think the lobby issues get fixed within the next 3 updates if I were a betting person.Well I hope this clears some air over the huge negativity around GT7. Not until the patch notes are released AFTER the update goes live!! All that is released before an update is the new content, bug fixes etc. are always only released in the patch notes. It’s been this way since Sport, why do people STILL ask these questions?!Nothing on Lobby fixes?
4 or 5 million?Damn. 9mil for the Escudo I hear... Sheesh! Was expecting it around the 4-5mil bracket.
“Bus stop” is a type of chicane that stems from the chicane right before the start straight at Spa being an actual bus stop, so chicanes of similar profile have been called that. Thanks for the clarification, I've always heard it as the bus stop (even on IMSA broadcasts) hence why I thought inner loop was the short course!
Where did you hear this??Damn. 9mil for the Escudo I hear... Sheesh! Was expecting it around the 4-5mil bracket.
Oh, a couple of guys I'm in a league with on Discord (one guy in it usually gets his info spot on), most of us are now chuffed that we got another track to go wild on. Been waiting for Watkins since I divorced Project Cars 2.😌No, he means where did you "hear" it's 9 million?
I agree with the fact that a game should be ready and running properly since day 1, but being how complex games are nowadays compared to the PS2 era, I think that a minimum slack of time should be allowed to developers to fix it.Had huge potential.
Nearly fell out of bed when I saw this! This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Watkins Glen International Circuit Arrives in Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.17
Details about the next Gran Turismo 7 update have been revealed a bit early, and it brings confirmation of the first new track location in the game since launch: Watkins Glen International Circuit...
Atleast it isn't past the 15mil market so I'm glad. I'm ready for the Hellcat motor - Ford Roaster swap even (that's if possible)4 or 5 million?

I was expecting the Escudo to be pretty pricey and I'm sure the classic Ford will be too, but both look amazing.
As for the Watkins Glen circuit update, that was a very pleasant surprise indeed 👍
Bus stop is a type of chicane, rather than the name of the chicane.*Thanks for the clarification, I've always heard it as the bus stop (even on IMSA broadcasts) hence why I thought inner loop was the short course!
On the article it mentions new scapes from Watkins glenSo no new scapes locations I suppose, sorta disappointed by that.
Confirmed it’s only 2 layoutsGlen has three layouts. I hope PD adds all three to the game right away. It is extremely useless not to add the other layouts when they are already scanned.
The old spa bus stop went the opposite way, and the straight was more curved at the exit of the chicane. It's ghosted in your picture, no idea what the red is meant to be.Bus stop is a type of chicane, rather than the name of the chicane.*
Confusingly named after the Bus Stop chicane at Spa, which was once the same shape, and is in the location of an old bus stop (from when Spa was public roads), even further confused because the shape of the chicane at Spa is now not a 'bus stop' layout, but is still called 'Bus Stop'.

Okay thank youThe news article says its on 23rd June. So Thursday.
And?The old spa bus stop went the opposite way,
And?and the straight was more curved at the exit of the chicane.
it was also a perfect moment for a N24 event at Nordschleife few weeks back (or at least Nordschleife as a Daily). That was a 50 anniversary (i was SO much in the mood to play GT stuff there that weekend) and GT sponsors it all the way as well.Or something special for 24h Le Mans last week.Nothing.Kaz is stubborn af so i‘m not surprised at all about no PP.Very happy to see we are getting Watkins glen, but at the same time also a bit sad. I thought for sure we were getting pikes peak. It was the perfect moment to introduce it
Understatement of the year, sadly. For sure PD are not the most reactive development team around and some things should have been already fixed
It went left-right, right-left. Otherwise, bang on. Was a way better sequence of corners to drive, too.Bus stop is a type of chicane, rather than the name of the chicane.*

PD also used Monaco as the scape for the Lamborghini VGT.Speaking of Scapes locations, wanna bring up those Pikes Peak scapes again. PD adding Pikes Peak scapes with Escudo for 100th Pikes Peak run was something I actually had no doubts about. Update is here, but Scapes aren't. Though, it can be added, just not mentioned in a blog post. And if it's not added, then it would be kinda weird.

?And?
And?
Neither of those points change the fact that a 'bus stop' chicane is a type of chicane named after the shape of the original at Spa, which is named because it was at the location of a bus stop. That other bus-stop chicanes have a slightly different profile or face the opposite way doesn't change the basic shape of them, or the origins of the name.
