So this "New Engine" from the "Roulette" "Ticket"... Is that not the thing where you can put like a Porsche engine in a Beetle? Or is it just a new engine that resets all unremovable engine tuning parts and returns it to stock?

Edit: ok

They can be swapped.

Predict the Escudo will be 2 million or below. Not worth being over that, and certainly not anywhere near the likes of 5 million credits.

It's both. However, some engines (like the one from the Porsche 911) are compatible with other cars. PD is working on making more engines swappable.

So don't waste the Engine on just replacing it with a newer one on the same car... Just buy it in the tuning shop for that.

The Escudo drives as expected of a car with a wing larger than the car itself and with almost 1000 horsepower massively turbocharged, and of course, it has the iconic status in the franchise itself, it was long overdue that we would have this "legend" in full 4k glory.
How can you possibly know this?
You posted this (as am I) before anyone can purchase it....

So potentially this Silvia engine can be put in a different car... Maybe in the future?

Again, you have no idea what work is involved to 'simply' code that change. And they may not even be aware that that change is wanted by the community, nor may it align with their vision of the direction they want the game to go.
Do you remember how quick they were in rising up payouts on many events after they tried to milk everyone big time and created huge backlash?Reducing the payouts before was also quick on their part without breaking the game. They know very well, i’m sure. And to me It just looks like a damn slider.Money-—>UP.

it‘s obvious to me they simply don‘t want to give us too many choices to earn good money for now.Instead we have to race the same events all over again.Yeah,i know…no one is forced to do that.

I got like 3-4 engine swaps already...and the first two times I didn't know better and did just that replace the engine with a new one which did absolutely nothing...I didn't know you can swap engines with another car until I looked it up on youtube... but I got that mazda 787b engine and put it in the rx-7 and it became a beast... only problem is its loud for no reason smh

Looks like I can use it in the Nissan Silvia S13 Ks '90. Don't have that car but will keep look out for it.

Oh really? Because PD were quite quick to adjust the payouts of several events early in game’s life, specifically nerfing the Fisherman’s Ranch and Gr.4 High Speed Ring race that many players were grinding for credits at the time. And this enraged the community as it was painfully clear that microtransactions were being pushed.

And they may not even be aware that that change is wanted by the community,
See @Techlet ‘s post.
nor may it align with their vision of the direction they want the game to go.
According to Kaz himself, he wants to avoid designing the game in way where players end up repeating the same events over and over. But PD aren’t doing a good job at that as WTC Tokyo, Sardegna, Spa, and Le Mans, are clearly the most played ones for obvious reasons. So perhaps it would be in PD’s best interest to increase the payouts of other events in the game to that level so that players will be more likely to do those too.

I’m not sure why you continue to make these excuses for PD. They aren’t some indie dev with a small team of people and very limited resources.

3 or 4 Engines??? That's some godsend luck... Some people here haven't gotten a SINGLE one before this 6 star ticket that literally has to give out an engine.

After the inability to sell cars, only being able to get Engine Swaps and Special Car Parts via roulettes is the most disgusting feature in this game.
It just blows my mind how can anyone think of this as being good design!! It literally has nothing good about it. Not a single ****ing thing.

Like, bruh:

"Lets market a new feature on the game where you can swap engines between cars but you can only get those swappable engines from a roulette ticket you get once per day and it only gives you a 1% chance of getting it"

Firing the guy who came up with this idea would still not be enough justice...

I got at least 2 maybe 3... the first one was for a supra and the third most recent one was the 787b engine and the second I think it was for a Audi not sure...regardless I pretty much wasted the engine swaps the first 2 times lol

Damn. 9mil for the Escudo I hear... Sheesh! Was expecting it around the 4-5mil bracket.
Oh, a couple of guys I'm in a league with on Discord (one guy in it usually gets his info spot on), most of us are now chuffed that we got another track to go wild on. Been waiting for Watkins since I divorced Project Cars 2.😌
I think your guy was a little off.

For me the Hagerty dealership crashed. It says failed to get sales list. I have exited the game, reset my console, redownloaded the patch, and reset my internet. Nothing. I just get the message below. The Used Car Dealership is fine as is everything else in the game. I just cannot access Legend Cars.

Picked up the '32 Roadster and the Escudo. The 250 GTO is there, as well. I don't have enough to get it. 😐

For my daily mileage, I drove the WTC800 race at Watkins Glen. THAT track is really fun to drive!
Restart the game or reboot the machine. One of those may fix it. I haven't had any issues with it.

I edited my comment to reflect things I have tried.

That would be me. Before taking a break around a week ago I did play the game daily for a bit over 2 months, so that's 60+ tickets from dailies and all the cafe ones. Zero engine swaps until this update with the engine only ticket.
That, invitation only cars (I've got exactly one so far. Thankfully I don't care anymore because I bought all of them when PD gave everyone all invitations for a month, but the idea is just as idiotic) and cycles cars in both UCD and LCD... yeah. I'd definitely fire that guy and whoever approved those for the game's release.

I don't mind to play some extra to get something "rare", but locking out fun features behind RNG wall with only ways to get those being limited items (tickets) is anti-fun killer.
I, too, want (or wanted, rather) to fool around with that stupid Samba bus after the engine swap. Looks like fun, even if pretty much useless. But nope, can't have it, of course not. "Games are not meant to be fun after all". PD, probably.

That aside... I'll give this update 4/10. Cafe "events" is just claiming rewards, new track I didn't enjoy at all (not going to say it's bad or anything, I just don't like NA tracks in general), plus there's only 3 super easy (and low payout) races to do and one-time CE.
Escudo seems fun, roadster maybe too (didn't try it yet), fantasy Gr3 class of a VGT is meh.

Still no economy fixes or even attempt to do so, so still same "races to do" for the credits. So much for not wanting people to do same events over and over again. /s
