Enough events to complete the game? What a completely nothing statement, that would also be true if there was one event. Complete it, 100% of events done.

Yes, it does understeer, and it has too much turbo lag (it's the neutered version of the Escudo from GT4 onwards, basically), but it's fun trying to master it, the car feels very unique here. I think it takes getting used to the car before you can unlock the ridiculous potential of it.

I find the downforce exceptional, as it’s nearly impossible to spin the tires under throttle despite all its horsepower. I also haven’t noticed any problems with steering. Maybe you just need to tune it to your liking?

You’re sidestepping the question, Quake isn’t talking about 100% completion, just the campaign and total World Circuits event count.

Well, for example you could complete a huge open world game like Horizon Zero Dawn in less than 20 hours if you just did the main missions and ignored the side quests. In which case I would say it's quite a short story. But a lot more effort and content exists which would go ignored in such a case.
Similarly, GT offers more than just 'events'. Events are a small portion of the overall single player experience. If you choose to ignore all the other content and arbitrarily define the campaign as events only, that's up to you, and yes you could blitz through it placing 3rd and getting bronze etc.
I consider the campaign to be every single possible thing you can do in the game in single player mode only. In which case you will more than get your monies worth. Then add in the fact that it has a well made multiplayer experience and you have infinite hours of gameplay for £40-50. Excellent deal IMO.

I just drove a 1 hour race at Watkins Glen. Time was set to 24x, I started in the afternoon and reached the night in about 10 mins - seems right. I did however never make it out of the night and drove in the dark for the remaining 50 mins.

Shouldn’t I have gotten to the afternoon of the next day?

Nope, track doesn't have 24hr cycle so it just stops.

I am not a game developer but i wonder... why? Why they choose not making full 24hr cycle? If they already have Night to Day cycle and Day to Night cycle, why it can't repeat itself to make full 24hr ? This is strange.

We said the same thing about the Tokyo Expressway grind, and it took them several weeks to come up with a (failed) patch.

It's absurd that they manage to accidentally patch exploits into the game, multiple times. They add such a tiny amount of content (if the extra menus can even be considered content) and still mess it up. Thanks for the free engines, PD.

Was with you on your initial point, but absolutely not following that. Good for you getting it for £40, and glad you’re happy with it.

But an ill thought out and lazy single player campaign is absolutely not good value for £70. It’s laughable.

There’s tons of videos of A+ lobbies that are utter wreckfests in the gt7 dailies thread. I can link you a couple of my own if you like. SuperGT doesn’t get punted because everyone knows who he is. Lots of times you’ll see people letting him go past as well just to escape the pressure of potentially a few hundred thousand people seeing them be the butt of a joke.

No it isn't. It would be like moving into a new build even though you had the chance to thoroughly inspect it (in the form of user reviews and playthrough watching) before putting the money down.
Complaining isn't constructive, constructive criticism is constructive. The endless whining is tiresome from a select few.
I don't care what Kez said, if a game was delayed by an entire year, it was significantly impacted.
Because people like to parrot, 'they had 5 years to make it'. 5 years isn't a long time when doing something as basic as modelling a single car takes weeks of work. Multiply that by over 400 and those 5 years feel more like 5 weeks.
Everyone here has the option to sell their copy and pick it up later cheap. They go for £40+ on Ebay, unless you bought the digital PS5 and/or digital version, in which case you should've considered that before buying.
No one is forcing anyone to grind for credits, no one is forcing anyone to play a game they're so frustrated with. Put the game down, play ACC or something. Pick back up in a few months. Battlefield 4 took over a year before it reached a good standard. These things happen.
Or alternatively, sit on a forum whining and complaining while you adjust your pedal end points then race around an extremely well made recreation of Watkins Glen, which FYI was never even promised to begin with. Kudos to the ones enjoying the new content and features!

Astronomical levels of cope lmao. Are you familiar with iRacing? Touted as the gold standard in professional sim racing, endless videos of punting and bad sportsmanship vids on the subreddit. Hell ever watched real motorsports? Happens there too. But no you must whine about GT7 like it only ever happens on that game. Just uninstall it, although you'll probably complain it takes too long to uninstall. Sad!
