Next month, we'll have just our second one-on-one matchup since the lobby was first created.

If you recall, the first one we did involved the Honda Fit and Suzuki Swift, which was a surprising success. This next event will feature the Ferrari Dino and the Lancia Stratos.

Hahaha that's an interesting theme. Ferrari Dento vs. Lancia Scratchos would be for the close hair width action!

I have a few more that I’d eventually like to explore like the ‘90 RX-7 against the ‘78 TransAm and the Integra versus the 86 GRMN.

Hey Satomi. I'm afraid I might need to put at tentative, we had a thunderstorm yesterday night and it kind of took out my PS4 while at rest mode.

Hopefully I could fire up the console tonight to check if its healthy... Chances are I may be able to make it, albeit later or possibly miss out this weekend.

Sorry I was late and missed the first two. I worked really late and was really dragging this morning.

Those races were fun. That car is my favorite right now. The best car for one make, fixed setting racing in the game IMO.

Well, we could do something with the higher powered VGTs in a sequel that takes place on the longer tracks like Nurb and SSRX. But this one will be capped at around 600 HP.

Great news! I've managed to get my PS4 running again. Though I'm really frustrated that I've missed out this weekend's races. Really huge shame and it shouldn't happened.

Now I'm wondering if I should adjust the HP limit. The reason I ask this is because most people will probably end up picking the Fittipaldi, which will render this to a one-make. Most VGTs can't have their HP adjusted anyway. What do you folks recommend?

When I first created this lobby, I used to employ a format similar to this. Each meet would be a particular car class on a particular track.

@Satomiblood Sorry I haven't been super active lately. I think I mentioned this previously, but I've moved and have significantly worse internet as a result. I can barely play online anymore. Limited to time trials until we move again. Hopefully mid summer we'll be somewhere with a decent connection. I definitely want to get back into racing with you guys.

On second thought, I’m going to leave the specs as they are. If people want to pick the Fittipaldi, that’s their choice. I’ll be picking other cars to keep things diverse, even if it means finishing at the back of the grid.

I'll put it tentative this time. This weekend it's definitely gonna go my way to make sure I get at least 30 minutes of lobby running.

P.S. If we had extra headroom of time, can we try the Renault Gordini? I really want to try racing that little punchy matchbox and to at least make-up for that lost time when my PS4 got taken out...

Haven't tried any cars out yet, but I might not join. I'm trying to get my alt character to the end of FFXIV Stormblood before the Shadowbringers expac launches in a few weeks. I'm around the halfway point of the Heavensward story atm, so I have a long way to go.
