Argh, won't make it today, sorry!

No need to apologize. I didn’t even have you on the sign-up sheet for this one, so I wasn’t expecting you anyway.

The actual problem is folks signing up and not showing up that makes the whole thing seem useless.

Satomi, is it possible to recreate the room? The stupid error message kept saying connection timeout for me... Shatty game lol

Unfortunately I will be not racing today at last minute due to having last minute plans hitting my arse.

Will plan on doing the next one however.

Next week’s event specs are up. As you can surmise by the title, this is a Honda Beat one-make. The twist is that the power will be set to double the stock value, so the car will run faster than a typical kei car. I left the power/weight fields blank, but will update accordingly.

How come you jacked the weight up on the Beat? Is it more stable with the extra weight?

I have a Beat setup if you need one for it.

It's based on a tune I came across a few months back. I haven't tried the upgraded power with stock weight settings, though. I'll share the full tune later.

Just tested the car with the extra weight and it feels like a stock MX-5. I think it would be better with stock 760kg weight, it's a lot more fun to drive.

You'll probably want to stiffen the suspension on my tune, to compensate for the extra grip of the sports soft tyres. I'll try and get on and test on all the tracks and see what I can do with the setup.

I don't know which tune I'll be using yet.

So, we have the following combination: stock weight, HP buffed to 120, and sports tires. I would've gone with comforts if the HP were sub-100, but I like it at 120.

I've just spent 40 mins trying to make this car stop sliding on Tokyo, and I can't get a clean lap in with it. It's not a car you can just go and race without learning how little input you need to drive it fast.

Raising the front ride height and adding toe in on the front wheels seems to help it a bit.
