I found a decent looking livery online...gonna use that for the race since it looks really slick!

P.S. Any championship points system for the races? It'll be interesting to fight for the Cup.

Unfortunately, any time I attach "Cup" or "Championship" to the title, it's usually for superficial reasons. It just sounds cool in an unofficial sort of way.

However, I've been toying with the possibility of a points system. The problem is the group doesn't have enough dedicated players. I applaud everyone that's at least made an attempt to participate in past events, but with the exception of a few people, it's difficult to gauge what the grid will look like from week to week. If I could get about 10 dedicated players, I'd consider implementing a points system. In this case, dedicated doesn't mean you're obligated to participate every week. It means you'll at least make an effort to attend most events, help promote the group, recruit players, and provide feedback.

We've had people show up for a few consecutive events and just flat-out disappear. These last few weeks, thanks to the likes of @whiteusagi, @KayX23, and yourself, have been better than most. Ultimately, we need more consistency. It's a bit of an uphill climb, though, especially when so many of the event threads on this forum are geared toward Gr.1/Gr.2/Gr.3/Gr.4. It seems as if those are the preferred categories, which is a real shame since it shortchanges some of the game's other offerings.

If you or anyone else wants to utilize a points system, let me know and I'll see how it can be worked into the group. Maybe I'm wrong and we don't need so many players to adopt such a system.

If you run a points system I'd like to see the multiple races every week stay.

Yeah, I think I prefer the multi-race events more. I mainly do this because it reminds me of Gran Turimo's career mode events. I would just need some guidance in how to implement it.

I understand how you feel in this. Since there are many leagues and events to choose from, while we're just sitting round a coffee table. But I really applaud your organization and thorough management of the events, as they are concise and well-varied to cater to every possible theme and specifications.

Having a championship table may be beneficial or detrimental, since you have to consider about encourage closer racing or rewarding the better performers through the system. Whichever it is, I think it is still nice that we could at least keep track of our results and consistencies.

Though I've tried to dedicate my night time to joining, at least to fill up a slot for more competition. It's not easy to have many people since they have their own obligations and commitments. Ultimately, thank you for sharing your thoughts from your perspective. At least we could voice our feedback and suggestions as a possibility not to rule out, but play with in the future as our spare cards in hand.

Anyway, I look forward to the Gordini Cup and probably exchange some paint. (haha!)

We can try again next week. I had already switched over to another game session and just wrapped that up. Have to work on the yard soon anyway.
Did you drive the Gordini over the yard? It's a shame that we all missed out this week's gathering. But I look forward to the proper session.

It's been a hell week for me. We've just got our new sofa and the whole house was in chaos...because the sofa was a two-piece set.

As @Nick Cannella can attest, I was overzealous overtaking him on one of the turns in Lap 2 and ended up losing control of the Gordini. And I ended up mowing some grass as a result. This track reminds me of Big Willow with all of the punishing high speed turns. I’ll see if I can snap some photos from earlier today.

It is a fun track to race on, and the car is ultra fun to drive. Too bad more didnt show, but like I told @Satomiblood, lets try again next week.

Not really feeling like hosting an event this morning. Let’s shoot for next Saturday and we’ll bump everything up by a week.
Gotta work this coming Saturday, so I will not be able to attend. Apologizes. I encourage all to show up though. This car is a blast to drive.

It's one of those rare instances of a car not needing to be tuned. Just wish it were reclassified as an N100.

I'm in. See you Saturday morning.

Question. Do you run all the races in the series on the same day?

Hi there. Welcome to the group.

And yes, we run all of the races on the same day. The lobby is usually open for 2 hours, but can wrap up sooner depending on how quickly we get through things. I'll add you to the sign-up sheet. In the interim, please send me a friend request on PSN (Satomiblood).
