Yeah, the wording on the PS Blog made it sound like there will be an open beta after the closed one.
Maybe they'll just release the game. Beta fixes as a day 1 patch. Hell, open the beta to public and allow beta and full game players to play in common online servers.

Crash is not out til the end of June. Still, it is a good sign

I did notice @Dionisiy who seems to be very reliable in his 'info', didn't comment but smiled at my last prediction, you never know it could be sooner than we think, all his predictions seem to be pretty accurate so far!👍

Three new trailers and three times the same cars/tracks. Even the screenshots show the same tracks for the beta. They don't need new tracks to see if the concept of GTSport works. So, yes I think we're not done with the Tokyo track.

@Imari I must respectfully disagree. All the new content was only for the online mode. No dlc or stand alone for the solo, because you can't buy sharkcard in solo. I will buy GTSport at full price if and only if the career mode is long and micro transactions at least avoidable.

American friends, I hope that you'll stream your achievments on Twitch during the beta for us little european guys...

I'd certainly hope we could do that for you folks, though I'm not exactly confident we will be able to considering "Beta" is the keyword here.

I was fine not remembering that. Thanks :ill::lol:

Hey, has any info been shared in regards to how long this Beta will last? I don't recall reading anything related to it. Hopefully it isn't over just one weekend, because I'd be totally screwed if I actually receive an invitation to play it. If I don't, well then there's no problem.

Kazunori Yamauchi, head of the game's developer Polyphony, said that the beta will "only be open to selected U.S. PSN IDs", advising that PlayStation 4 owners check their messages for invitations. He added that the beta will be "increased gradually and in stages."

No website are accurate for release date so you know that.
I do totally agree with you and understand this isn't official etc, but the reason I posted it was it just seemed to tie in with my previous posts and I thought it worth noting as this is one of the largest retailers here and all other games they put on pre-order at the bottom of the link are the normal 31/12/17 placeholders. So it was strange to see GT Sport back near the top with an earlier June Placeholder. Sometimes retailers get told and put things on early by mistake.

As said before this is all speculation, depending on how well the beta goes this month. I do feel with the slight bits of news and website updates that have been found and drip fed these past few weeks, that there are some positive vibes about the game coming to completion these next few months. It wouldn't surprise me if a release date is given very soon 👍

That doesn't answer my question. I was asking how long it would last for.

Just recieved a mail from Sony. Opened it just to discover it was about the weekly offers :boggled:

Looks like it could be going direct to your PS4 Menu messages.👍

"The initial phase of the closed BETA, starting on March 17th, will only be open to selected US PSN IDs, so be sure to check your “Messages” on the PS4 dashboard to see if you’ve been invited".

That was the same for the 4.50 beta.

I would still check the "email" though.

Starting March 17th. Probably will be sent out at Midnight ET tonight or will be sent out at 3 pm ET on Friday.

So there will be no message through your Email (Gmail, etc) but only through PSN?

It would be amusing if i get the demo with my fake US account; I've lost my patients. :D
