Gran Turismo Sport Closed Beta Coming March 17: First the US, Then EU Region

Only got in a quick 10 minutes of play, before heading to work this morning. Looks great, and it's nice to be playing a GT again.
Minor issue, I like to use the right stick for shifting, but it is backwards. Down is shift up, and up is shift down. Is this reversible, didn't have time to dig in to it?

Can someone tell me if the 5:00-8:00 PM thing only affects online play? I sleep throug the mid morning to late afternoon and don't want to miss out on playing.

5-8 pm PDT is only for online racing (Sport). You can do arcade racing with any car in your garage at any time.

I'm an EU PSN Beta tester. We've been told that we are automatically in the beta when in it starts in the EU.

Nothing yet about dates or NDA's or any other information.

Small update. A GT Sport beta forum has appeared in the EU beta forum. Nothing in it though!

However, i would say the EU beta is very close, maybe a few days.
I would bet money on the EU beta starting next week.

Code is very region specific, as in you have to be in the US. Having a US account while in other countries just won't work.

I own a Region 2 PS4 (Middle Eastern Version) and my primary PSN account is US. The code worked fine for me.

It's a similar case with the PS3.

Almost 4 GB downloaded so far...this is gonna take a while. (Seriously steam took just an hour for 7.5 or so GB download, meanwhile it took over 6 hours for just less than 4 GB...GG Playstation).

Guess he likes it a lot! Streaming quality never does justice to a game. Especially in times of 4K and HDR.

I downloaded the beta last night but didn't have time to play it because I had to be a work this morning. As soon as I get home I'm gonna get started. I did watch a few stream's of it though and it looks good so far. Only thing I'm concerned with is that I'm hearing that people are having disconnect issues at time's.

Canadian here with a beta code, but mine is invalid as well. Tried on the PS4 and web browser. Are the codes not activated or something?

Are you clicking the link straight from your email? Chances are you're not logged into your PSN on the new browser window it opens. Sign in, close the tab, then click the email link again. Should work fine (just tested).

Yea, I've tried it a bunch of times. Even when logged into the bug tracker I hit the forum button and it opens with access denied. Weird.

Ah wow... Damn! Didn't expect that. But makes sense really. Guess we'll have to wait for our Legit Codes to be sent through to our ID's.
