One would expect this news to be discussed all over but strangly nobody talks about it.....
I don't know mate.
End of Japanese beta only?
Seems odd when those same servers cover more than just Japan.

The beta post was from teramoto.
So if that means anything to you, take from that what you will.

Sorry.
I'm a Twitter noob and have no idea how these things work. :P

Japanese posts mentioned it earlier today.
Even to the point of a screenshot of the official JP beta forum post.

I'm not overly happy with linking to a screenshot post of a private forum.
But perhaps I can offer this post.

It certainly seems legit to me from what I've seen.
So I'm sure it won't take long before more evidence arrives.

Finally, we had a confirmation .....

Just : Thanks PoDi ! I can't wait for product version !

It's official. *.*

It's funny, I don't remember anyone actually notice this track before, though it appears for quite a long time in trailer

I know, right? I noticed it immediately myself and pointed it out on Discord, but I guess everyone on GTP mistook it for Sardegna or something instead.

I'm a bit disappointed over the name reveal because I was hoping it was a Finnish track myself (the environment with its forests and lakes is almost a perfect match and Kaz has talked about wanting a Northern European track in GT before), but it's all good.

Final Fantasy VII put sprites on pre-rendered backgrounds twenty years ago. NFS put players' personal cars in cut scenes two years ago.

Scapes are visually impressive, no doubt. But they do have limits compared to the traditional Photo Travel locations of previous games. That said, I do think about how technology could further evolve in the next dozen years, to the point that we could use something similar to put our in-game cars in just about any real-world location we could snap a picture of.

It'll be massively easier for people to claim they own whatever car they want. We're going to need a lot of tins of beans.

You can just shop them in now and you'll fool everybody.

There has been no mention of fixed weather or night racing. Are we to assume that after almost a year delay that these won't be available from the beginning?

That Scape video above is gorgeous too.

I'm sure it's probably been discussed, but I haven't been on here much lately. With the release date now shown, it has peaked my interest again in GTS. Has Kaz said why GT6 "Premium" cars can't be GTS "Standard" cars? That would increase the car list by a lot, and I am sure everyone would except GT6 "Premium" cars as GTS "Standard". We will lose a lot of good cars, that I really enjoy driving.
