It's baffling. A GTSport trailer and/or demo would have been the highlight of that show. I'm thinking maybe they are falling behind and just aren't ready.

Indeed. Question is though, why was it removed, as it was obviously meant to be shown originally. Are they just behind again?

I could understand them not being able to show up with a playable demo at the last minute, stuff happens in development. But not even a trailer? It'd take an intern two days to throw together some random gameplay footage.

The only reason I can think of to not show a trailer is that they're actually trying to avoid publicity. Which yeah, probably means that they're behind again, and they're hoping that if they need to they can bump the date without too much drama if it's flying under the radar. Which is retarded.

They could make trailer easy, but for some reason first party game missing here a lot... No God of war 4, GT sport, no new Bend studio game (there we rumors about new Syphon Filter game) and some rumors about new Crash game... Maybe Sony decides to remove that games form show and focus on indie and VR game mostly. Also there's no number about sale during Black Friday... Bad conference, very, very bad! :(

If that's how they focus on VR then VR is going to be one of the most epic fails in history:lol::lol:

Certainly they could have done a trailer. Games coming out in 2-3 years can cobble a trailer together, even if it's not in-game. So the question therefore is, why didn't they want to? Do they have a better platform in mind to truly announce this title in the next three months, or has it been pushed back to E3 next June? After the supposed beta start.

Hopefully Jordan can share some insight soon, since it appears he cancelled his plans after learning GTS wasn't going to be present, when he initially was told it would be.

Possibly the FIA and motor racing influence in GTS is so strong that they are distancing themselves from games and moving towards motorsport. Maybe they'll debut at some big motorsport event in the near future. Pure speculation of course.

Highly doubt it. If that's the case why stay on the PlayStation platform? Why show the trailer at PGW? Despite the GT Academy and FIA Partnership, GT remains a "game" at core.

...This is a very interesting thought. How much you wanna bet a GT related news popping out at the FIA end-of-year awards ceremony? When's that happening anyway?

It's possible, only problem is there isn't really anything big in motorsport the next few months, not where you could conceivably launch a game any way. It's the winter break for most series and events. Even a launch like GT6 at a track would be odd because again, it'd be in the winter when no active events are running.

I don't think it makes much sense either, but it doesn't matter what we think, what matters is what Kaz and his new FIA partners think and that's a wild card.
