I saw this comparison of the latest PS4 6.0 firmware update vs. update 2.5 (from March 2015). It shows that all the 'improve system performance' updates are for real.

I have an announcement

Fuji is terrible

The track is terrible or the GTSport version is terrible?

Hnggg... I love the track, but maaaaan I suck so bad at it :boggled:
I can't find any brake markers for the life of me, and that last section requires you to know the track like the back of your hand. How am I gonna know that when the last time I played it I had worse pace than a DR D driver?!

But... I love the challenge :D

Which makes the World Tour event Fuji Race even more impressive to watch, even with qualifying it would be reasonable to think someone would go off track or miss apexes but it was(in my opinion) the best race of the event and with the best finish. Those drivers are friggin aliens man.

I wouldnt go as far as 'terribad' but that crap just before the start of the main straight is just diabolical.

The version without that stuff is better but its not a great track IMO but I dont like to complain about legit content and real world tracks.

I never liked Fuji very much but it's still a nostalgic Track for me because of GT4

Where is the 1000K Fuji GT League Event PD?

I just got an idea it would be great if they would add different seasons on the circuits like autumn on Nur or Fuji instead of just different time of day. It would probably not happen but imagine to drive on Nurburgring or Fuji during autumn.

Anybody that can't get the last section right hasn't been driving on it enough. It"s off camber that's all. You'll get used to it.
The combo of off camber plus decreasing radius makes its a very difficult section of track to get right. I like the challenge but it's definitely hard to find the line, especially since I haven't raced it much since GT5.

I personally love Fuji because of all the drifting competitions/tandems we did back in GT5. Fuji and Barcelona were the staple of drift competitions.

Track complaints aside, I like the new cars coming in. Nice to have legitimate Porsches in a Gran Turismo game. That being said, I'm hoping we can get RUF back into the game; I'd love a properly modelled Yellowbird.

Has anyone try rolling start in lobby since the update to check if the auto drive bug has been fixed?

No issues on my side.

I've been in love/hate relationship with the cockpit view last days. As a former chase cam user, I recently switched to hood/roof view, and it totally changed the game for me, better control and being more consistent in my driving.

Now a days I only do lobbies and single player hot lap to get my "speed fix". Cockpit view is used for fast race cars, down to slower Gr.4 cars, but bonnet view only for the road cars and slower ones. I simply feel to dull driving with the cockpit view for road cars, but that's just my silly opinion.

PD is doing great in every aspect for GTS, but I think they could do much better when it comes to the bonnet view for some cars, mainly road cars that I've noticed. As much as I want to buy the 512bb, MR2 and the E30 and many others, and would gladly like the drive, I simply can't stand or accept the bonnet view they have.

Some examples.

This is the "bonnet" cam for the MR2, which just looks silly imo. I think lower and more of hood would be better.

When the pop-up lights are down, it's even stranger, and the roof somehow feels like the hood itself.

The F40 is not the be found in my garage. As beautiful as it is, I simply can't enjoy driving it with this view. It just looks strange to me.

The E30 is "OK", but I don't like it somehow. Lower and more hood would be great.

This screenshot is taken from RACEROOM of the E30, and the hood view is just perfect in my opinion.

As for the F40, the beautiful 512bb are neiter to be found in my garage. I think it's obvious why.
The 512bb has a long hood beautiful hood, and should with out a doubt look better in the game imo.

A good solution would be let us adjust the view, lower, higher, front or back, just to our personal taste, or PD would fix it car by car.
But this is of course matter of taste, and probably some players probably like it as it for now. So who should PD listen too?

It would be nice to hear what you guys have to say about that.

It's funny watching the AI trying to deal with that last complex. They'll brake at the weirdest spots to try and shave off some speed, the whole thing turns into brake check alley and bumper cars.

Damn those are good brakes
Reminds me of my first V-brake bike. A friend of mine wanted to test if they were any good. He got up to 20kmh or so(remember this is from my childhood, we were nine years old) and pressed both brakes as hard as he could. That video ^ reminded me of what happened next. He faceplanted. :D

Just noticed the GT League series "The Passion Of Dr Wankel" for the rotary cars. Some people's names are amusing enough without having to make a porn title out of it, damn PD
