Hard to learn? I had german for one year (and never even bothered to take an interest) and I find german very easy. I understand a lot of it actually. Haha

Yeah. What will they do, show the Nissan GT-R 2020 showing off dem new "grahix"? Most racing games has already been done that for sometime now, as well with car models, physics, sound etc. it's pretty much nothing new or spectacular anymore unless its features (which could fall into the same category)...

Why would they do that? It's a racing/driving game, what exactly is going to be the surprise?
Imagine seeing GT actually account for wheelspin off the line.

In real time.

I hope for some news, for the trailer they will maybe use PGW trailer just little edited with some new scenes or 100% same. That is my prediction.

I'm having a fierce gut feeling here.

It pertains to FFB wheels and I think that Logitech or Thrustmaster may pull something out for GTS for all we know.
Maybe something from Logitech that actually justifies its pricetag? I dunno...

Anybody share the same feelings?

lol @ thinking the beta will hide content that makes the game.

"Hey, we have a brand new physics engine for GT Sport! But yeah, you can't actually see if you like it until the game is out."

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see a slightly altered DFGT for $149-199. It would place them securely in the entry level category and it's a decent wheel for a beginner.

Considering it's basically an empty category at the moment they really should. There's nothing that would compete with a DFGT.

It's also probably the best value for money wheel there is, especially considering some of the easy mods you can made to it.

What about Thrustmaster T150?

What about Thrustmaster T150?

It's at least twice the price of a DFGT where I am, for what appears to be a similar product without a sequential shifter.

That's not a competing product, IMO. That's a rip off.

The comparably priced product from Thrustmaster is the T80, which has "Thrustmaster® "bungee cord" exclusive system providing with realistic resistance". That's not a competing product either, because no FFB.

The DFGT is relatively unique in that while it felt like a toy and was built of crappy plastic, it was and is completely capable of delivering excellent FFB at an extremely low price. And to my knowledge, no one since has really managed to build something as capable for such a low price. The only real issue the wheel has is the pedals, and an old squash ball or bungy cord goes a long way towards fixing that problem as well.

Bit dissapointed I'm going to have to Swap my Accuforce out with the old G25 for this.
Unless there's a drastic change in hardware support between now and then.

DFGT is the extent of a steering wheel I'd buy. Not due to lack of funds but for someone who really enjoys racing games I find the price of most wheels way too steep for a hobby.

If you are into sims like iRacing I can see the appeal but from someone who just really enjoys the games and wants a decent peripheral that doesn't break the bank there's pretty much no real options.

I've had the T300 for a while and I was happier with the G25, the wheel itself is fantastic but the lack of a shifter and the terrible pedals is a big miss, also I'm in a constant state of worry of when will this thing break.

I think you're very much not alone. $100-150 is sort of affordable for someone that likes racing games but isn't super serious about them. It's the price of a couple of games. It's also comparable with decent control options for other sorts of games, like a decent fight stick, or a nice mechanical keyboard.

$300+ is too much for a casual user.

Apart from old wheels compatibility like DFGT, I hope there will be a direct drive wheel for PS4 released.

$400 for the T150 is a complete ripoff, I know that some electronics in Australia are typically more expensive but that's twice the price of retail in America as I received mine off of Amazon for $200.

There is the exchange rate to consider as well so it's not quite $400 if you convert it, less than $US300 actually.

So no news from GTS? I just noted that i have big investment ahead as PSVR is announced to Q1 and supports GTS. Hopefully around 500 euros, 1000 would be too much. When that Japanese carshow will be, where some new/same old video of GTS is shown? Next weekend?

No, no new news arrived yet. We might get some nseaky new info from that GT Sport video that was meant to played at the GT booth at the Tokyo Auto Salon, although I don't expect it.

I'm not counting on the simulator thingy being GTS, more like an improved version of the GT6 one at the Tokyo Motor Show last year.
