After watching bit of the GT3 oval race I started to wonder if that safety car is really a player controlled car instead of ai, since its mentioned first on the grid and stays first all the way into the pits and then drops to the bottom of the list after the race started.

Also, it seems to be modelled more after a DTM safety car from a few years back instead of the GT6's MotoGP inspired version. Sadly they both are apparently equipped with the 7-speed flappy paddle box. And the lights didn't turn off once the car entered the pits and stopped after them.

To me, it appeared like it was controlled by AI

Just as i said two pages ago, to me flags and safety cars appeared to be too much "human". Like a GT6 livestream

I... want to believe. Honestly.

Maybe this is what GT needs; a fresh start. The roster does surprise me. 130 seems a lot of cars for being just a "spin-off," which I now find it hard to believe it is. I somehow feel this might be a new beginning for Gran Turismo.

There is still a lot that PD need to work in. No doubt that this game will look and play gorgeous as a pure GT title, now that I see the gameplay video. But there is still the matter of content. Gran Turismo is not Gran Turismo without the massive number of STREET cars. That's all the series needs to be. I hope that GTS is just an open platform for many expansions.

Also, PD needs to start working on delivering on way shorter timelines. November? How long have they been working on GTS? No more of this waiting game. The competition has surpassed GT way too much in the past months (whether it is in content or gameplay) and they need to step up. Bringing GTS to the ring as is, will not really offer anything above what Forza 6, PCars or Assetto Corsa offer.

Come on, PD! I want to see the series alive again! GT is not only a game; it's a lifestyle, a culture. After all, without GT, this genre wouldn't even exist!

If this many people who are contemplating moving to other systems and games actually go through with it, then the fanbase will be as barren as the tracksides.
By the time they move, their cash will already be in PD's pockets

Watches live stream. Goes on PSN and checks coming soon. Sees full game price (£49.99 and £59.99) for GT7P (No matter what they call it, I call it as I see it)

Result?

Notices Assetto Corsa pre order release date corrected. Pre order made. £39.99 well spent.

It's not GT7 Prologue, you may choose to see it that way, but in reality it's just GT6 Esports edition.

Some new manufacturers here

The game is not yet complete, yet people make assumptions that it's just the same as GT6 with prettier graphics and less cars...

Atleast wait to learn anything about the AI, the rest of the cars, the physics, etc. This is the first time we see something about the game lol

So this would need to go gold around September for a November launch?

4 1/2 months away. I would expect maybe a patch or two.

Stage demos and main builds are probably different. Usually developers do separate builds and that does not permit them making changes to it. What is strange that demo builds are usually made weeks maybe months ahead so they probably noticed critical bugs or missing trees :D.

They even mentioned that each they PD brought a new version of the "demo".

A new version of the branch of code on what they would have tested to death to make sure it was a stable build what worked for what they wanted to do. This branch is probably a good few weeks old at the very least. As @Shinu beat me to

They have probably started working on GTS 5 years ago and this is what they've done :(

I got a PS4 3 months ago, I only have 2 games (DriveClub and Uncharted 4) and they are really mind blowing visually. GTS looks like GT6, how is that possible  The tracks seem lifeless as always :guilty: I was expecting a rainy night on the nordschleife, cockpit view in a GT3, noise of windscreen wiper, a lot of tension, then a crash... the human drama.

Even physics and netcode(laggy on LAN:cheers:) seem to be the same as GT6. The way cars are moving on replay doesn't feel right, the way they push each other seems wrong too. The game is supposed to be about racing, racing is about pit stop (repair, tyre, fuel) but instead of this we've seen the same bull**** as the one you can see in every GT6 public lobby...

Livery editor and scape photo mode are fun but this is clearly not the most important for a racing game...

Just wait to have the game in front of you

Oh quick question y'all, Does anyone think that PD will implement the flashing/flickering tail lights that LMP1 and GT cars do while decelerating? Or is it probably a lost feature we'll probably never see? I have yet to see 1 racing game do that yet.
