The road cars may all be pre-modded to various N specifications.

I don't see how they could be grouped like that if they were all still stock. Obviously those three cars there won't be in the same group but I imagine the Vette will be N500, the Focus N300 and the Mito N200, if the numbers are power related. The other road cars will have to be matched otherwise yeah, totally unbalanced racing in that class.
It has to be that way, to take on the Vette the Focus would need to be a WRC spec, and the Mito rocket powered ;)

The N's will be subcategorized, but the GR.4? I mean there was a screenshot of an M4 racing an MX5. That seems a bit weird. Maybe they mashed all GR.4 cars to display the overall cars in that class.

It's all a little strange because whilst in that image the MX5 with a wing and stickers is listed as Gr.4 in the gameplay it's listed as N200. Yet in the above image N-Series are all stock road cars in terms of visuals, so that doesn't fit. They must have been doing some rejigging between the game builds and the website image or something.

We'll have to see how it all pans out with the final specs but I think for sure the road cars won't be stock performance.

It is 12 years old now- so no ;) but just to see how the car details have changed even in this short time. I remember getting my hands on the first GT!
I meant because the GT Sport picture is a scape, not a track :) That ups the photorealism on the cars quite a bit haha

But yeah I remember that too! Gran Turismo 1, Special Stage Route 5, Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray '67.. Oh the sounds, the graphics.. I loved the reflections. Hahaha

I didn't mean it like that, I meant it seems like a waste for Kaz to fly all the way to the US on a 12 hour flight just to do a low key presentation of the same content already revealed. But he may have only done it because he's got to to be at PP in two weeks, although that is rather a large 'holiday', unless he's doing something else in the meantime. Otherwise as I say, why fly to the US and then go back just to present the same content again when he could instead be back at the studio working on it?
Good point
unless he's doing something else in the meantime
Well, according to the last article...
That being said, GTS is playable on the show floor and the PS-Blog has pointed out that Kazunori will be showing off the game as the show progresses this week, so stay tuned to GTPlanet for more information as it comes in.
E3 is up for tomorrow and thursday, maybe there will be new stuff, or more gameplays, we would have to wait for it

Just so we're clear, you suggested yesterday that maybe PD had too much new info to be included in Sony's keynote ( ), and now, after a day where the only new thing they've shown was the Driving Marker feature, you're again suggesting they'll have something new to show tomorrow or Thursday?

If Polyphony had new content, why would they intentionally hold onto it and instead show almost entirely old stuff today?

I'd like to see new content as much as the next person, but the signs are all pointing otherwise.

Hey, I said maybe this time

Does anyone think the paint chips will make a return? Or atleast, we will be able to go in-depth with our own color creation?

I love the color palette on GT6 with the many variants of each color. I.E. Each version of silver has its own lighting value and tone, overall.

A quick observation, but why hasnt the 458 been shown in a livery? Is PD doing PD things again with licensing issues?
