From the snapchat account, and the GTS pods!

Hi Guys you should be able to still watch it here, I just watched it back it starts around the 20min mark early on the feed 👍

I captured this off screen so not HD! But this shows the new marker system for the apex/driving line to help learn the track and position to be in for a faster lap. Great idea as I was never a fan of the driving line and always take it off.👍

Thanks for the link. It works watching it embed here, but going to the YT link directly shave off almost 2 hours making it that you can't see the GT sport part.

At the 32:22-32:26 and 40:38-40:44 mark you can clearly see that the trees are 2D sprites. These are some advanced sprite though as they interact with the lighting even as they shift towards the camera. I wonder how PD managed to do that.

RUF isn't there because Brand Central only has marques listed if they have a car in the current build.

Sport mode will have dedicated servers with higher player count
Normal online lobbys will have P2P servers/mode with less player count
sry for my english

This got lost in shuffle, and my German is rusty. From what I could piece together, at the 0:56 mark, it's roughly "Sport Mode is hosted by dedicated servers that allow a larger number of participants", while at 1:10, it's "But then there is still a normal online mode running peer-to-peer and therefore allows only a smaller number of players."

Any German-speaking GTP'ers able to lend a hand? :)

GT Sport is looking really incredibly good in that high quality video from the homepage ! And the sounds are also hugely improved 👍👍👍 - it really got better and better in such a short time :embarrassed:

Nothing really new but in short:

In sport mode 20 player online (dedicated servers).
Normal mode less players but no number given (P2P).

Damage -> yes will be there.
Dynamic weather -> no, players choose their settings before the race.

Careermode -> no career but the campaign mode has 117 events.

Endurance -> so far only in online mode.

I know I'm probably reading too much into this. :P

But why would a "Peugeot 908 HDi FAP - Team Peugeot Total" be named along side the Mercedes-AMG GT and BMW M4 Safety Cars in the 'Pace Car Theme' for pre-orders?

You see, I picked out the Genesis GR.3 in the E3 trailer! With all these awesome race cars, I won't know which one to drive! I want to drive them all god dammit...

Anyway, this game is turning out to be something amazing and far better than any other GT. After watching the direct feed footage, it's clear that PD have left GT6 in the dust. GT Sport makes GT6 look more like GT4 now. Boy oh boy, wowee, I'm going to have soo much fun playing this game. The tracks aren't dead, there are alive - this game has given the franchise fresh air and I love it. The direct feed footage doesn't mask up anything like the trailers for GT5 and GT6 did - what a turnaround, PD. Bloody hell.

Whilst I agree there is a lot to get excited about there still a lot missing. Lack of content, lack of features. So far we have a pretty looking game, when has GT been anything other, and an improved physics model, I'm going to be keeping my excitement in check until I know more or play it.

Can't even see the point in doing an endurance race then, might be me tho.

I'm preferring this "smaller" game. It's like they're starting over.
Yes, that's really the same impression that i had.
Happy they left behind the standards, even though the car selection will be just a lottery

From the drivers stats page it would appear that finally someone (PD) has implemented the best online racing format, such as the one iRacing use. I am in shock that PD are the first to use some brain cells and have copied iRacing format to ensure clean online racing. Clean first corner racing is a massive problem (like global warming) in all open lobbies and the only way to get good racing was to get to a private lobby/Legaue. GT sport is gonna make life so much simpler and kudos to PD.

In the photo there is safety rating points (sportsmanship points), and driver class rating and driver skill level.
Now with is to be able to automatically race with clean drivers who can lap at a quick speed but without having to organise private leagues is a major bonus.

hopefully this is gonna be an end to the "guaranteed first corner Pile ups" and the standard of racing can only improve.

i have unfortunately already paid $700 for iRacing content in February and its good to see others will benefit from that structure but for a game that is a lot less money.

If it has taken Kaz 20 years to wake up, so be it. GT 1-6 are history. Those games are in the archives. I'll look at GTS in the same bain as AC and PCARS from here on. For me, I have to. I won't compare this game to the past games.

RUF is shown in this shot though.

Saying that, I don't think we've seen a Suzuki, Maserati, or Citroen in-game yet either.

Same as the one we've already seen unfortunately.

Shame really because we have that other image which includes RUF and Cadillac.
It would be nice to see those listed in-game.

My guess (this might've been said already) is that there just isn't a model ready in any of the current builds - there isn't much point in having a selectable brand with no cars in it.

Also, if you notice, Subaru isn't listed in that first image, yet it was in the first public build. For that reason I'm betting barring sudden legal/license conflict, any brands you've seen on any sort of public or promotional material will make it to the full game - less than half of the content car/track-wise has been revealed, so there's a lot to come yet.

I do think it's odd that so little new content has been shown (two-ish new cars and extremely brief and obscure video footage of the unnamed dirt track I believe?), especially for one of the biggest gaming events of the year. However there's still quite a few more shows and events coming up that'd allow for more extensive reveals and coverage. It wouldn't surprise me if Sarthe gets revealed at Le Mans (especially considering the ties to the Bugatti announcement), and if the Copper Box event actually "leaked" it's existence, Pax Prime wouldn't be a terrible place to show off a playable build of Seattle. As for cars, in the past PD has revealed full lists anywhere between a couple weeks to a month before launch, but they could also take a T10 approach and slowly unveil the list piece by piece to steadily build hype up to launch day.
