Hmm, given how iRacing announced Porsche on the first day of 2017 with a car ready for January, I wonder how and when Poly will annouce its presence.

(I can't see every game with them except GT at this point. The lack of classic cars in GTsport so far will hurt a lot the experience.)

Will GTS be at CES this Thursday?
All I saw was a Sony broadcast site for CES 2017. I take it many companies will do the same, as well as bloggers.
I guest it could, maybe just Scape and VR replay demos(?) and no playing?

Yeah even if they were at CES it would be just to talk about tech stuff again, how amazing it looks with HDR and such, not to talk about the actual game.

It will be interesting to see if Sony comes up with a new breed of HDR displays more in line with GTS's touted figures, although should rumours of them introducing OLED in their consumer range be confirmed that could hardly be the case...

If GT Sport is at CES — and that's a big if — it wouldn't be the only racing game there...

Forza 7? Because iRacing and AC aren't the most beautiful games...
I love the solid 60 fps in Forza 6 but the lighting and reflections are so inconsistent. The cockpit view immersion is killed by the 30 fps mirrors for example. FH3 is the first Forza with a good lighting and I hope Forza 7 will improve it.

Each game has to compromise to fit into system memory. Horizon looks better due to less complex physics sim. Unless Forza 7 compromises something else it won't look as good as Horizon unless it's on Scorpio - and we don't know how good that will be yet.

It's near certain Forza 7 will be a Scorpio launch title. My concern is whether it releases on XB1 at all.

...As far as I know, Scorpio will be more "powerful" than PS4 Pro. Following a chain of logic, I can safely assume that Forza 7 should look even prettier than GT:S.

Also assuming that both games release around roughly the similar time frame, then, whew, I'd loooove to see how this forum explodes in the aftermaths of someone making those Vs. images and posting them here.

This depends on how devs will use the Scorpio as well, PS4 Pro support isn't exactly setting the world alight.

They would need to make Forza 7 for Scorpio userbase of ZERO first and port to Xbone - not happening.

I'll tell what will happen - Forza 7 will use updated Forza 6 engine - made for Xbone. Then you will get the same thing but in 4K on Scorpio.

Just like you can now run Forza Apex on PC and apart from looking clean there's nothing special happening there.

.... Not quite understanding what you're trying to say here. Are you inferring that on launch Scorpio will have zero players on it? That's a bit of stretch, don't you think?
