I think you mean BMW's. :P

A few years ago I would have. Up here, Audi's unending desire to be the new BMW has resulted in drivers in four-ringed cars almost always being the most aggressive, thrusty 🤬 on the road.

If Porsche is the 'big announcement' it will be a complete joke. Porsche is a requirement of a racing games in these post EA days. To crow about having it in your game should not be a big announcement. The only acceptable big announcement at this stage is a new release date or a huge new feature that will knock our socks off.

Eh, as much as I agree that Porsche is quickly becoming a common feature in the genre — and GT would be one of the last to announce its inclusion — it still would be a big deal for those that only play GT.*

It's a first for the franchise (officially) — it's as big of a deal as it has been for every other franchise that's only just gained access to the marque.

(Not that I approve of intentionally limiting oneself to only one franchise when there's so much goodness out there, but hey.)

A manufacturer showing up officially for the 1st time isn't big because the EA exclusivity deal has been gone for what... 3 months?

Exactly man and to me personally I would be extremely excited! I am a huge GT fan but I play all racing games... It stinks i cant drive a Porsche in GT because i enjoy them in FM6 And AC, actually AC Porsche line up is my favorite so far so, I definitely want to see if PD can do something!

TBH, I hope the release date is not the big news. We know the game will be released this year and probably for November/December. (I saw an interview today with the CEO of TAG Heuer speaking of a "second semester")
We want news on the game, cars, tracks, features (an event editor)...

Good to see watch sponsorship isn't the big news after all, so probably Porsche and a release date in fall '17 and at least folk here have something to mark on their calendars again.
