So how much does the Bugatti VGT weigh? I only found one site claiming 1695 KG.
Link please? The Gr. 1 version, from a video I remember here:
(go to 3:03) says it weighs 980kg, which sounds pretty much unrealistic considering it had a W16 engine weighing over 600kg and has all-wheel drive and that this one is detuned by 1029hp (so it has 621hp compared to 1650hp). There's no possible way that can happen.

I know the beta still have same old features, lots of thing to being more polished and few new stuff, but hey, at least we have a whole day talking about it now, when usually everything just goes silence

I wonder, I haven't paid enough attention yet. Are people able to mash down the gearbox or does the gearbox protection kick in?

The hud is quite nice but they're lacking thought on it. Overlapping the in car information. That looks like it would drive me nuts. It seems a bit big and gaudy... I quite like the dark tone before night fall.

I wonder what the force feedback is like.

The lighting is impressive.

That's the road car engine. If it's a race engine they could drop the weight significantly with things like different internal materials and ancillaries like the fuel system. Don't think it'd be impossible to get it down around 1000kg but it's not something you'll see irl.

That reminds me, there was a special version of GT2 that had a scratch and sniff disc that smelled like burnt rubber and gasoline. Sure, it gets them quirkiness points, and the ability to say they've partnered with such and such company, but in the end it's almost irrelevant to the game they're supposed to be making.
Didn't realise they were special vesrions, thought they were all like that. That was great though.

I've just realised that there is a very positive point in the aproach of GT Sport to the online multiplayer with reputation. The other 3 "games" that perform that kind of multiplayer system (PCars2, GTR3, Iracing) focus mostly on the motorsport side. But GT Sport can offer moderated races with street cars.

PCars2 cand do that too, but most likely is going to offer less street cars races than GT Sport. That's a plus for me. Street cars races with this kind of system could be very interesting.

This website here and a few others quote it at 1695 KG. I'm assuming its referring to the IRL concept but there's no way to know.

No worried about ffb. GT has always performed well in that matter.

I dunno. I used to think so, and then I played a bunch of other sim games. GTs FFB is very muted and incommunicative, it's not obstructive but nor does it give you much help or feedback.

not many tuning options also

I was watching a stream yesterday where the guy driving was giving feedback after every race; he was using a G29.

He said the FFB was definitely between AC and Project CARS. I don't use a wheel, but I think that's a good thing.

It doesn't compite at that level, but it always has been quite clean. Better than most PS games (although that is not a great thing).

I guess. The pCARS FFB on console was pretty universally awful unless you spent a good amount of time fiddling with it though, or at least that's what I heard. (I have pCARS on PC and did my fiddling before release.)

With all the new cars in the Geneva build with the same year model than on PS3. The 458 Italia, Dodge Viper and SLS AMG are obivously the equivalent of the GT3 versions. The Veyron or the Elise are nice additions.
I'm sure they could try to bring a little more diversity from the PS3 library : a couple of JDM (it's a Gran Turismo, no?), classic cars, D1GP... The diversity of a GT but with less cars. I would gladly trade another modern supercar with something different.

I want Jdm ! but it seems i have to wait Dlc :(

The more I watch, the less I'm feeling it. If this was coming out in the next month or two, I'd definitely jump in, but if it's not coming out til later in the year, I think I'll just go with the new Forza Motorsport. I've got a PC for more serious sim'ing, and I really just want a nice collectathon AAA sim with nice customization and some semblance of a single player mode alongside the online aspects.

I'm still not blown away by the graphics like many others are, either. It looks good, the exterior of the cars and the lighting are very nice. Image quality has improved a lot as well from earlier builds. But the rest just seems quite average in terms of my expectations for a AAA game. I really did expect more from PD. And the lack of cars, lack of any upgrades, lack of proper single player, slow AI - I have to say - if this game is to win me over, they're gonna really need to nail the online aspects and knock it out of the park. They need flawless servers, excellent matchmaking with similarly skilled racers, and a good balance of competitive machinery. No upgrades makes me worry there will be some blatantly dominant cars in certain classes that everybody flocks to with no real ability to do anything about it. But if they can do an almost iRacing-level online effort for console, I'll consider it more seriously.

Hi guys, I was watching a gtsport video on YouTube and I couldn't help but notice what looks like indicator lights on the hud, from the cockpit view, they flash at the end of a race like hazard lights and at first I thought they were blind spot indicators but they appear to be above them so could we have usable indicators ( blinkers/ signals) in the game??
