I wouldn't say fast enough I only won 2 races and I'm at 48 SR.

I don't think the SR is related to the DR as I understand it. DR is how fast your race/lap times are. SR is how clean of a driver you are. Those that are >C get more accurate/realistic races where you can't just ghost through someone after wall riding to keep momentum. It really waters down the GT brand. But maybe getting into C class isn't that hard? I've only done maybe 10-12 races so far.

in this video I just recorded earlier using GoPro, you can see most of the racers don't take serious risks like divebombing, locking the brakes. All of them care their tires. Its 3 laps race on the ring, but if you drive hard on 1st lap, you'll having hard time on the next 2 laps. Tires is easily gone on hot weather.

And the drivers very care to not touch each other cars, that will cost them 4x incident point that will reduce their Safety Rating. SR is one most important thing to take car as your license can be demoted to lower class if you collect too much INCs on every race.

And being TOP5 is important too, as they increase you IR Rating. So a 5000ir driver is winning much more than 1500ir counterpart and their racecraft is considered good. That the general rules of thumb, higher IR == better driver

SO there's a time where someone will drive aggresive on 3-4 races and after that drive safely to increase their SR on other 2-3 races per week.

Here's a theory I have about the mystery oval track in the latest ad. If Northern Isle serves as a short oval track, it's quite possible that the unknown track is an intermediate oval - which in turn could mean that we see a super speedway like Daytona or Talledega as well. 3 types of oval could very well be possibility in this game, considering that Daytona was in GT5 and GT6.

If it's true that Porsche is indeed confirmed then it really shouldn't be that big of a surprise since its taken so damn long for it to happen.

Do you know what this about?

Arcade mode is being removed from the beta so that the beta testing can focus on Sport Mode. Going forward 'previously unseen tracks' will be available in Sport Mode. There is apparently 'a surprise in the code' as well, but players will have to find it and I have no idea what it might be.

It is getting rid of arcade mode to focus on online stress testing. Looks like they are also adding a track or two to the online races. That is all I read, probably going to be more but I'll find out shortly

Arcade mode is gone? Well that sucks.
PD has noticed a ton of people just using arcade mode versus Sport mode. They have a goal to get the net code top notch. Basically it looks like they are forcing the issue in the Beta to make the best environment for us when the game comes out.

HOLY :censored:ING 🤬!!! I smell the presence of Porsche within the FX300 Gran Turismo Racing League!!! Looks like GT Sport's gonna be a very great game after all.

The purpose of the beta is to test server-to-peer connections, player matching algorithms, draft effects, penalties, etc. They found far more players than they expected sticking to Arcade mode and not participating in testing Sport Mode.

Online racing should be running 24/7 then and keep adding more people to it
