No, you can qualify for the next day's races as soon as they go up. That normally happens as the last races for the day wrap up, so you have something like 22 hours to qualify for tomorrow's events. So if theyve removed Arcade mode, does that mean there's nothing to do in the beta until the roughly 3 or 4 hours of online races are scheduled for the day?
Sorry if I sound rude, but why did you quote me? I wasn't talking about how the cars drive and rather just speculated on what Porsche models are going to be in the series.I'm very happy for Porsche to finally be in GT. There was a legitimate reason they weren't in the game before, but it's no longer the case so I did expect it. PD is on time here if anything. My excitement is tempered quite a bit though by how this game works. There are a few different reasons.
You can still run laps around the selected race circuits if you select Qualifying Time Trial. So if theyve removed Arcade mode, does that mean there's nothing to do in the beta until the roughly 3 or 4 hours of online races are scheduled for the day?
Good point. You were talking about all of these different models of Porsche we might get to enjoy, and all I could think about was "they will all be the same." Pardon the rambling.Sorry if I sound rude, but why did you quote me? I wasn't talking about how the cars drive and rather just speculated on what Porsche models are going to be in the series.
Porsche eh? All I can say right now is
Haha, never thought I'd come across a post of Mauro on GTPlanet! Apparently he's not very happy with his WWE contract, maybe he'll go over to RIZIN, Bellator or even the UFC? Now that would be sweet lol.
Anyway, to keep it on topic, yes, also me! Kind of surreal seeing Porsche in the game, I'm almost drooling thinking about photo mode with them, and scapes. I can't wait to drive one!
We don't know yet, and I don't think we WILL know until this weekend when the first EU races go on the schedule. I hope both, but my guess is separate. And that would be a shame, PD should pay attention to how many folks race together across regions here.So....
Sport mode is global, correct?
Quick question.
With the EU and US daily race time periods separated by 7 hours, will those involved in the beta have access to both sets of events?
You earn a car each day by driving a marathon (26 miles).I still don't see any night racing or weather, has that been ditched, I wonder, or is it still in development. Also, can anyone who's playing the Beta say if all cars are unlocked from the start on Arcade?
For some reason it looks to me as if the crane in one of the Dragon Trail Screenshots is infinitely tall

Haha, yeah I love MMA, I'm very much a hardcore fan I think.Staying slightly off-topic, I now get the UFC in your username haha (big fan here too)...
ANYWAY, Porsche scapes are amazing, news dump is awesome, can't wait for the (surely imminent) release!
SR is Sportsmanship Rating. Every time you go off track, hit a wall, or crash another player, SR is deducted, and you earn SR by driving clean. I've not seen any SR deduction for crashing players yet, so imo it's a bit flawed as of right now.I have no idea how to search through this whole discussion, therefore I apologise if this is a repeated question. I just saw a replay of a race, and there was this SR that popped up now and then with a arrow pointing up or down. What is this SR?
I just wanted to share this here, I’m sure things will be improved… But after the update last night I was only able to get into one race (oval) and I don’t race ovals but you have to get in where you can with this BETA. If you watch the video around the 1:28 mark a car spins on track and I collided with him, that sent me sailing and ultimately disqualified me because I couldn’t get back in the action quick enough. I’m not too bothered by this, I don’t like circle racing and the SR rating needs refinement anyhow. Take it for what it is…
Similar to what SR is for iRacing then?SR is Sportsmanship Rating. Every time you go off track, hit a wall, or crash another player, SR is deducted, and you earn SR by driving clean. I've not seen any SR deduction for crashing players yet, so imo it's a bit flawed as of right now.
The purpose is to match you with players that actually want to race cleanly.
I would love it if this was the case because I won't be able to play during the race times listed for the EU. It's far too early in the morning for me.So....
