This Gran Turismo is going to be the best ever. The small car and track list is irrelevant for me. There's enough variety to keep me entertained.

Just wake up this morning and decided to go to GTP forums and shocked by lots of new stuff coming. Finally GT have Porsche after years of waiting and new tracks looks decent, even it is not classic tracks from previous GT series, it looks good imo. Enjoy this moment guys, hope you happy for this update! (me too, I even jumped out from my bed lol)

Haha, never thought I'd come across a post of Mauro on GTPlanet! Apparently he's not very happy with his WWE contract, maybe he'll go over to RIZIN, Bellator or even the UFC? Now that would be sweet lol.
Anyway, to keep it on topic, yes, also me! Kind of surreal seeing Porsche in the game, I'm almost drooling thinking about photo mode with them, and scapes. I can't wait to drive one!

I still don't see any night racing or weather, has that been ditched, I wonder, or is it still in development. Also, can anyone who's playing the Beta say if all cars are unlocked from the start on Arcade?

I just wanted to share this here, I’m sure things will be improved… But after the update last night I was only able to get into one race (oval) and I don’t race ovals but you have to get in where you can with this BETA. If you watch the video around the 1:28 mark a car spins on track and I collided with him, that sent me sailing and ultimately disqualified me because I couldn’t get back in the action quick enough. I’m not too bothered by this, I don’t like circle racing and the SR rating needs refinement anyhow. Take it for what it is…

We don't know yet, and I don't think we WILL know until this weekend when the first EU races go on the schedule. I hope both, but my guess is separate. And that would be a shame, PD should pay attention to how many folks race together across regions here.
You earn a car each day by driving a marathon (26 miles).
Cars are awarded at random.
I believe, but do not recall for sure, that you get one from each of the three classes being used out of the gate.

Haha, yeah I love MMA, I'm very much a hardcore fan I think.
And yes, they look sooooo good! I've always loved taking photos in GT, and while it would be simply amazing to move the camera around in Scapes, that's impossible, but I'm more than happy with the current implementation of Scapes. To be honest I don't think the lack of being able to move the camera will really bother me once I get stuck in haha.

I have no idea how to search through this whole discussion, therefore I apologise if this is a repeated question. I just saw a replay of a race, and there was this SR that popped up now and then with a arrow pointing up or down. What is this SR?

SR is Sportsmanship Rating. Every time you go off track, hit a wall, or crash another player, SR is deducted, and you earn SR by driving clean. I've not seen any SR deduction for crashing players yet, so imo it's a bit flawed as of right now.
The purpose is to match you with players that actually want to race cleanly.

Your video opens also bit how SR is added/reduced one sector later, meaning if you hit something on half of sector 1 it won't come in to play until end of sector 2, always one sector behind, probably taking in count "what happens after hit" before judging it on your SR.

I'm loving this PS4 era PD. They've been much much better with listening to feedback and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is noticing this. GTPlanet shaping up a GT game? yes please.

I would love it if this was the case because I won't be able to play during the race times listed for the EU. It's far too early in the morning for me.
