I bought the 1962 Ferrari after spending 12 HOURS of grinding. I really love the car IRL so I had to have it. However, since it is a 50+ year old car it drives very interestingly. It under steers a lot and over steers when you least aspect it. But the car is very fun to drive!!
Not to mention, I also bought it cause of its tear jerking beauty.
How expensive is this car?

Update seems pretty good. For sure, the lack of livery editor for the Mercedes F1 is annoying, but not entirely surprising. Mercedes wouldn't be happy with their car being plastered with logos from rival companies, and I'm pretty sure that rival companies wouldn't be happy with it either. F1 remains a very politically heated sport. Even if we could use the livery editor on the Merc, it would be pretty weird seeing a Ferrari livery on it.... I'd be in favour of PD bringing back the original Formula Gran Turismo for this reason.
As for microtransactions, part of me is irritated, but another part of me feels that it was inevitable. Free updates can only go on for so long. And when you factor in the number of times the game has been on sale, something has to give. At least the prices for cars aren't GTA Online levels of ridiculous, aside from the 20 million credit cars perhaps. Nonetheless, my XJ13 was given to me as a daily gift, so the game has been generous enough. Much like in GT6, the microtranstactions won't disrupt my experience with the game

- “Grid Start with False Start Check” has been added to the list of race starting options.
Overall happy with the update, will try it out tonight post-work.
Wish we get a more robust lobby racing options. I want the option of setting up a a session of Practice > QF > Race, with proper qualifier like was seen in the World Tour event.

Simply a different business model I'd suggest.
GT Sport cost ~£45 when it was new, Race Room want £133 for their tracks alone (a few of which are fantasy tracks), the cars total >£300. The FREE update we just got would have cost about £20 at Race Room prices. So there's that.
Also, Race room targets being officially licensed series (DTM, WTCC, ADAC GT), for which having real world tracks is more necessary.

Did this at Interlagos with the W08 earlier, rolled backwards on the hill just after the 5th red light and I think it was a 3 second penalty

How does it work though? You start in neautral and hit 1st gear manually once the lights are out?

If you ask me the sound isn't that bad actually. Perhaps need a bit higher pitch and we are there. (It sounds better in replay though) The new sound feel more realistic compared to GT6 sound in my opinion. It is just how PD get that pitch right I think. With some cars have the sound updated ('05 Ford GT, Turn 14 BRZ, '07 Audi R8), hope they noticed this one too. 👍

They removed Daily Races and now we’re stuck with possible **** races for one whole week.
They added possibly the worst track in the history of Gran Turismo. What was that again with safety measures and FIA regulations? A crash on the bridge would mean certain death when you go over the barriers. Watching paint dry is more exciting than racing here.
They STILL haven’t created Group C, so all the old Le Mans cars are still basically useless.
They haven’t even changed the name to Weekly Races because those guys at PD must be diddling their thumbs. And no notification in the game of the change.
The Mercedes can’t have custom liveries, but that’s no fault of PD. If Mercedes says no then that’s that.
All together, this update blows. This game continues to get more boring, and these changes are for the worse.
In before someone tells me that nobody forces me to play the game and I should stop bitching. Gran Turismo has been my favourite gaming series since 1999 and this game is just such a big let down. Where else should I go to vent than a forum dedicated to it?
