Sure, AC has issues, but none to the point that it's unplayable. GTS is unplayable. You can compare all you want, but in the end people are playing and enjoying AC right now and GTS is a piece of demo/vaporware. It's sad really, because GTS looked really promising in the demo's and from the feedback from the peeps that played it.
That remains to be seen, doesn't it?it will come out around next year anyway.

The perfomance of AC on PS4 is not good at all. You know what? It's alright that PD delayed GTSport, so maybe they can improve the framerate and polish the game even more.
Here's GTsport fps for comparison.

Yes, of course but I don't think PD will delay the game until 2018. That's absurd. Might as well scrap the game and just make a proper GT game instead.
Rest assured, i'm pretty confident this will be sorted out quickly. We're on 1.8 on the PC and the AI is quite good. Besides the updated AI we have it's then just a matter of adjusting their pace on 'easy' as they are way too fast, which should be something fairly straightforward to fix.Ẁell having played both I can say that the GTS AI is better than the AC AI, and that's something I never thought I would say about GT AI in comparison to a competitor.

That too. I recall the first months of PCARS in comparison, remember driving out of the pit @Zolder?And the pitting car bug.
I certainly hope so, as the physics and feedback make this a title i want to succeed. That too. I recall the first months of PCARS in comparison, remember driving out of the pit @Zolder?
That scared the crap out of me.
On PC Kunos have always been good at patching their bugs/ flaws quickly, probably won't be long before PS4 is coming up.

And you'll probably have at least another year to enjoy it too.Well I'm shocked. I've been so into AC since it came out that I've only just NOW at 21:03 UK time found out GTS was delayed three days ago!
The time gap between GT4 and GT5 was quite substantial and GT5 turned out as quite a nice game, better than GT6 and GT4 imo. That said I really dont know why Kaz doesn't want to make the FIA series game into GT7 with a full single player and all the usual 700+ cars.http://www.gamespot.com/articles/gran-turismo-7-probably-coming-before-2017-will-ha/1100-6427946/
That's what they said about 2017. Why not 2018? There's nothing stopping them getting to the end of next year and saying "you know what? Sorry chaps, it's gonna be another year".

Which makes it worse actually. Even with all those resources and money, they're still not able to beat other developers to market. GT used to be a system seller. Today people are selling their systems because there is no GT.To be fair, it's not the same budget... We expect much more from Poly, maybe not on simulation side but everything else like sounds, career, AI, collisions...
Its a good point and gets more interesting when you stop and think about how many they have put out this gen and across multiple platforms.Which makes it worse actually. Codemasters, SMS, Kunos, Milestone, etc. etc. all have at least one (and some multiple) titles out. PD should be ashamed.
It's also worth noting that the three best (though 'best' is a bit subjective) in your list had extensive public/semi-public early access periods, where the community helped to shape the title into what it eventually became. The biggest credit IMO must go to Codemasters, who got slammed for previous DiRT titles (and probably rightly so), but really managed to turn around for DiRT Rally. This shows it's not impossible for a company to do a 180.Now some of them (OK mainly the MotoGP and bike stuff from Milestone) are not great, but you have in that lot at least four great sims released across multiple platforms by studios who did not have the same level of early access to the PS4 that PD certainly did.

Codemasters: F1 2015, F1 2016 and DiRT Rally
SMS: Project Cars
Kunos: Assetto Corsa
Milestone: Seb Loeb Rally, Valentino Rossi and a bucket load of MotoGP and Bike titles.

This is true, and it's why they all were able to have a large amount of people play around with early builds and gather feedback. Is there even an early access thing on PS4 (or XB1)? I know EA, etc. have some multiplayer beta's, but that's about it I think?A lot of those are PC ports though, to be fair.
That is true, but they still had to make the PC version first (however a lot of the Milestone stuff is PS4 first and then ported to XB1 and PC).A lot of those are PC ports though, to be fair.
(but yeah PD are slow haha)
Nothing the same. However Sony does have a closed beta team that provides feedback on Alpha and Beta products and does result in changes being made (I'm part of it and have been since the PS3 - PD has never made use of it). This is true, and it's why they all were able to have a large amount of people play around with early builds and gather feedback. Many of these have managed to be developed on the lead platform and be migrated to two other platforms in less time that the PS4 has been around!
Ashamed sounds a bit too strong^^ but yep I agree.Which makes it worse actually. Even with all those resources and money, they're still not able to beat other developers to market. GT used to be a system seller. Today people are selling their systems because there is no GT.

Odd, as neither are. Can't polish whats already perfect
