Anyone else find it ironic how After Corsair gets Fanatec, there is suddenly a new wheel at the World Series event?

I was about to predict Lexus but changed my mind last minute. Yet to predict anything correctly:(

For once I watched the race, it was interesting to watch. They had to use all tyre compounds during the race, right ?

I don't know what exactly is different about how they are showing it, but there's so much more of a sense of speed in the camera angles at this Tokyo race compared to how sedate these races normally look. It's good.

Edit: Ah, they're doing 400 km/h. That'd explain it.

Oops. And everyone passes the Dutchie on the right hand side.

Edit: THREE thousandths!

That Tokyo Expressway race was crazy. I dread to think how it'll be if they put that as a round in the next Nations season though.
Man that Tokyo race was genuinely thrilling. It's criminal they don't use these tuned road cars more often.
It's been traditional for the Sprint Qualifying race to feature in Daily Races either before or after the event...

... and we have Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise in for Race A next week.

Wow, the tyres nearly came back to Miyazono at the end there. Another lap, or 12 litres at the first stop, or not picking up that wall glance penalty, was pretty much the difference.

Drumont is the first non-Japanese driver to win a Pacific rim live event. Ever. Although there's only been four now and one was an ASOC regional final.

Drumont was my pick for the last round. He did not win.
Miyazono was my pick for this round. He did not win, but Drumont did.

I feel like I'm really good at picking the guy that could win, but is not going to win.

Gotta be honest i didn't believe on Kamakami's strat. He made those hard tires work, maybe helped by the BRZ being a bit of a brick on this track

That Nation's race and its qualifying race were a great watch! Gallo's NSX seemed like a slug out of the final corner every lap and I wondered if someone would pip him at the end - but not that closely!

Top four all separated by minimal points going to the final will be heated 🔥

Holy crap, I choose correctly for Nations Cup. I just threw a guess in there not expecting much. Looks like I'm having my first ever credits from the Winners Campaign :D
Nice, I guess you were luckier than me :)
This time both of my predictions were a bust, just as they did back in Prague... the only time I nailed it was when Igor Fraga won a few months back.
Oh well, at least I have a 787b and a GT-R coming my way :dopey:

Was there a reason why the 787B and 2008 GT-R GT500 were chosen as gift cars?
No idea. I already owned both so I sold them. I was surprised at the price disparity: ~1.6M for the 787B and ~400K for the GT-R. It seems PD really wanted you to watch one of those videos more than the other.
